Route002 : Way of the world and an interesting encounter

"Both of the twins ended up healthy it seems... it's all thanks to your service, nurse Alice" said professor sakuragi gratefully.

"Hmm...so I assume I'm that professor sakuragi's son eh? Being a baby once again sucks, I can't speak well, my ears are rather faulty and I can barely see anything" thought Arvind as he was annoyed by the fact that he had to live like a toddler for a while.

"Ohhhh look at him! Isn't he adorable?!" said mrs. sakuragi.

"Yeah it's only thanks to you that I got such wonderful gifts" said professor sakuragi in a romantic way.

"Look at them flirting at such a random moment. Thinking about it, being sakuragi's son kinda brings me some good contacts which will help out a ton!" thought Arvind.

"Oh...dear you flatter me way too much! Look at our daughter too, she's so cute" said mrs. sakuragi.

"Daughter?! I hope it's not koharu" thought a panicking Arvind as he didn't want to deal with Ash's plot armor.

"Say yoshino, shouldn't we start naming the two of them now?! It's rather sad to not have a name even if it's not for long" said professor sakuragi to his wife.

"Yeah I'll name our daughter, why don't you do it for our son?" suggested yoshino.

"Uhm..... I think I came up with something good. I'll name him... Sora! Isn't that a good one?" said the professor with a slight smile.

"That kind of goes well with the name I came up with too! Our daughter's name is gonna be Koharu!!!" said yoshino.

"Ain't no way, ain't no fucking way! First of all I get a cringey fanfic mc-like name and now I have to deal with Ash's plot armor" screamed "Sora" in his mind.

*****About five months later*****

"I've finally gained a bit of knowledge in the small amount of time I've been here. While professor sakuragi isn't the leading professor of kanto, he's decently rich and influential as he often get's invited to parties by champions and other big shots" thought Sora.

***About a year after his birth***

"I'm finally an one-year old. My body finally gained the strength to stand and walk a month ago. Yesterday I had my first birthday alongside my twin sister koharu. Life's been pretty boring to say the least" thought Sora.

**three years from Sora's birth**

"I'm about three now. I've recently gained a lot of information regarding this world as I got to access my father's laptop for the first time. I was rather impatient so I couldn't act like a toddler for long at all! I'm being "worshipped" by all the people around me as the genius who can speak, walk and read at such a young age." thought Sora.

The information from the internet of this world had given him a basis of how things work in here. Apparently there's a region ranking system where kanto is ranked as the 7th strongest region, being ahead of alola and johto. The masters eight and the whole pokemon world championships thing exists too.

Leon from galar is still the strongest, with sinnoh's Cynthia being the 2nd strongest trainer and a guy named Ronaldo from hoen being the 3rd. Sora was making fun of this guy in his mind saying things like "is this guy gonna say suiiiii after beating an opponent?!"

That was untill he checked this guy's battle record, only to be blown away. This guy is legit the cr7 of pokemon battles as his team was extremely dominant in almost every battle with his win rate being 96% after becoming a champion.

As for how battles go, strong pokemon can have up to 8-moves at maximum at a time while average pokemon mostly ever get to have 4-moves only with champion-level pokemon and legendaries having the potential to have 8-moves at the same time.

Pokedexes are much more useful like in the manga. The most expensive ones which only the absolute richest people can afford can track abilities and levels and even EVs and IVs.

The average pokedex displays the moves a pokemon has at a time, its current health percentage and status effect. It can also suppress evolution and natural level-up moves like in the manga.

After that life was going slow and boring for Sora as he didn't meet any character he recognised much from the anime except for oak who visited us a couple of months ago. That was untill he met a certain important character.

*****three months from now*****

It was a rather eventful day as some of professor sakuragi's closest friends were visiting them. The household was rather busy as well as excited.

"Big brother why is dad so happy today?" asked the three-year-old koharu.

"I'm the younger sibling but anyways, I heard some of dad's friends are coming over" answered Sora.

As Sora was in his early teens mentally already, he felt much more like an older sibling so koharu preferred calling him "big brother".

Even if she felt a bit dumb and naive, Sora enjoyed being her "big brother" as she treated him better than his annoying little brother from his past life. He thought "seems like younger sisters are kinder than the lil' shits we call younger brothers".

Just then, a bell rang. The ones prof. sakuragi was excited to meet were here.

"Oh y'all are here, come into living room, take a seat" said professor sakuragi as he greeted the three of them.

Sora's mother, who was busy working on her manga most of the time greeted them too and sat on the couch.Sora and koharu also sat on the couch in the living room.

"Oh how long has it been, Walker?! You even had children in the meantime" said an enthusiastic professor sakuragi.

"You also seem to have settled down. What could be the names of those two cuties on the couch?!" asked Cammille, one of sakuragi's closest friends and Walker's wife.

"Oh the boy's Sora and the girl is koharu. Is that your son over there?" asked professor sakuragi.

"Yeah his name is goh. He's quite smart for his age and is a bit shy" said Walker.

"What the heck? This kid's goh?! Well I guess he was kinda koharu's childhood friend so they must have met early on" thought Sora.

"Dear goh, why don't you go play with koharu and sora over there in the other room?" requested Cammille.

"Nooo mom! I don't want to engage with stupid children!" exclaimed goh.

In response to that sora just cleared his throat and looked at goh like how a hyena looks at corpses.

"But you're a child too, dear. I'll get you another pokemon databook if you listen to me now" said Cammille in the most convincing way possible.

"Okay mom. I hope you'll have that databook ready by tomorrow" said goh.

Cammille just nodded her head to signify that she was gonna prepare that databook.

And so goh walked off to the other room along with koharu and sora as mrs.sakuragi brought a bottle of wine and some glasses.
