Chapter 15: Beldum's Way of Fighting
The young man took a deep breath and said, "Electrike, Thunderbolt!!"
"Electrike!!"
Electrike bared its sharp fangs, and a bright flash of thunder gathered. It instantly condensed into a swift and thick bolt of lightning that struck Beldum directly!
"Zen Headbutt!" Aron said with a calm gaze.
"Bel-dum."
Beldum quietly stared at the incoming Thunderbolt. Its eyes froze, and a faint blue light appeared on its forehead. Then, a beam of blue light materialized out of thin air, and it shot directly at the Thunderbolt!
Boom!
With a loud crashing sound, the two energy beams collided violently in mid-air, their roar echoing for a long time.
But in the next moment, the blue beam shattered the Thunderbolt abruptly, hitting Electrike's body with lightning speed!
"Electrike!!"
Electrike was struck, and its spirit was severely impacted. Pain spread through its body, and it shook its head desperately, trying to free itself from the pain.
"Take Down." Aron ordered lightly, taking advantage of the situation to pursue.
"Bel-duml!!"
Beldum made a low sound, and the magnetic force within its body activated quickly. It rushed in front of Electrike in an instant, slamming into it with incredible momentum!
Boom!
Electrike took the Take Down attack head-on. Against Beldum, it was no match and was sent flying several meters backward.
The referee quickly looked down and saw that Electrike had collapsed, its eyes spinning.
He swallowed nervously and said in a hoarse voice, "Electrike is unable to continue, so the winner is Aron!"
Looking at Electrike on the ground, the young man's face stiffened. Upon seeing Beldum, he had expected Electrike might not stand a chance, but he never imagined it would be defeated so easily, without even the slightest resistance.
"Bel-dum."
Beldum floated in mid-air, letting out an excited Growl. Its large red eyes were full of joy.
Though it had suffered some minor damage from the Take Down move, it wasn't significant for Beldum, who had tough defenses.
As a trainer, Aron used a healing spray to treat Beldum's injuries, restoring it to peak condition.
After all, he had rented the sparing partner for two hours, which cost him a thousand pokedoller, so he wanted to make the most of it.
After resting for five minutes, Aron looked up at the young man and said, "Send out your next Pokémon."
The two trainers stood on opposite sides of the battlefield, staring at each other.
The young man had adjusted his mindset during those five minutes. He reminded himself that he was just a sparring partner for the match. His main purpose was to ensure the client enjoyed the battle.
Winning or losing didn't matter to him.
With this thought in mind, he turned into a cheerful smile and addressed Aron, who seemed wealthy or important: "After the match, if you think my service is good, remember to leave a five-star rating!"
Saying this, the young man threw out his second Poké Ball: "My next Pokémon is this one."
"Come out, Beedrill!"
With a flash of red light, a Beedrill appeared on the field. It flapped its two pairs of thin wings and hovered menacingly. Beedrill looked like a giant hornet, with four legs, a body divided into three parts, a round head with red eyes, a yellow-and-black tail, and a Poison Barb at the end.

I have to admit, Beedrill had a strong appearance—like a royal guard armed with two stingers. Though it is often depicted as a villain in anime,much like Pangoro or Ursaring.
If it weren't for Beedrill's relatively low potential and the effort it took to level up, Aron might have considered catching one.
However, after thinking for a moment, he remembered Giovanni's Beedrill, which had been a formidable Pokémon.
Beedrill was doubly weak to Psychic-type moves, making this battle easy for Aron.
"Twineedle."
"Iron Defense!"
The two commands were issued simultaneously.
Beedrill flapped its wings violently, soaring toward Beldum at astonishing speed. It shot two Poison Barbs at Beldum at the same time!
"Beldum!"
Beldum's silver body suddenly shimmered with a metallic glow, and the Poison Barbs seemed to bounce off it like they were striking a solid wall.
"What tough defense!" The young man gasped in surprise, his eyes widening.
However, his thoughts were quick. After a second of consideration, he raised his arms and shouted: "In that case, Beedrill, use Brutal Swing!"
Unfortunately, Beldum's move pool was limited, with only a few attacking options. This made the battle more predictable.
Aron sighed inwardly but spoke calmly: "Zen Headbutt!"
Beldum was slower than Beedrill, so it had to wait until Beedrill's silver stinger swung out like a storm, leaving scratches on its silver body, before it focused its mind on its forehead. A dazzling blue light shone from it, locking onto Beedrill's eyes!
Boom!
Despite Beedrill's speed, the two Pokémon were so close that Beedrill had no room to dodge.
Zen Headbutt struck Beedrill directly in the face, and the intense psychic energy stirred its mind like a mental tsunami.
Seizing the moment, Aron commanded, "Beldum, Take Down!"
Unfortunately for Beldum, it had only two main attacks, and that was a limitation in this battle.
Boom!
Beldum charged forward with all its might, knocking Beedrill several meters back!
Boom!
Beedrill hit the ground hard. After a moment, its wings trembled weakly before falling still.
"Beedrill is unable to continue, so the winner is Aron!" the referee announced with excitement, raising the flag.
With no spectators or other trainers present, the referee and the young man silently observed the powerful Shiny Beldum.
Despite its limited move set, Beldum continued to win all its battles for the next hour, undefeated.
After several victories, Beldum's level increased to level 13, and its combat power improved slightly.
"Well, it seems that the battle club is the most suitable place for training at this stage."
On the way home, Aron reflected on the day's progress with a smile on his face.
"Alright, tomorrow we'll have two Pokémon battling in turn!"
