EPISODE 72: Choices!***

A portion of the ceiling collapses, as the expected twins make their debut in the train. They seem more determined than usual, using whatever technology they have only to win against the gamble of the mirage of lightning.

"So, we meet again?" Ebony says, chuckling hysterically.

"What do you want?! Zapdos is ours, and we will do our best to keep it as our own!" Virgo counters, saying her words with an inclined and frustrated voice.

"One word is enough for a wise man and we have told you many times, we acquired Zapdos first before you," Charlotte adds to Virgo's words.

"I told you we should've stolen the book in the first place. Now, look where we are? If we had the book found in the museum then this race won't be a bother in the first place!" Emily scolds her sister, having the guts to stare at her eyes as if she is staring unto the soul.

"Tsk... I pity you sister. So little faith... So little. I find your lack of trust towards me quite disturbing. The last time I checked, there are no rules." Ebony whispers to her sister, teasing her in a pitiful yet sarcastic manner.

"Mother is going to scold you again if she finds out you've created another conflict!"

"You know what? That's it. Sit down and let me handle the rest." Ebony becomes angry at her sister, forcing her to sit on one of the train's chair. Her sister, however, persists to quell the fighting her sister is trying to cause. I pity Emily, she seems to be an innocent daughter who was forced to do something wrong just for the sake of their mother's goals.

"Like I said, I am the older sister, I am the one to be followed. Sit, or else." She disciplines as if Emily is a baby. She pushes her to a chair. Her actions towards her sister only makes me more angry and exasperated. This is why I never wanted nor dreamed of a sister in the first place.

"Time to do what must be done!" Ebony shouts, focusing on me. From her pocket is a weapon similar to a pistol but its functions are different. It is the type of weaponry wherein the bullet is some sort of bomb. Both scared and frightened I am to see the weapon pointed directly at my face.

"Goodbye, Luna." She says, and chuckles hysterically as she pulls the trigger. Her sister was in shock of her actions, almost wanting to hurt Ebony for her actions against me. The bullet, acting as some sort of grenade heads directly for me, and I flinched therefore I made not a single move.

"Luna!" Charlotte shouts, pushing me away from the bullet's direction. Instead of hitting me, it lands on the left side of the train, blowing it up in the process. The wind starts to enter the large gap formed by the bomb. Seeing the bullet miss, Ebony becomes even more frustrated as she tosses the weapon away since there was only one bullet.

Because of Charlotte's push, the Rocket ball accidentally slips off my pocket. It shakes on the ground, slowly moving towards the gap. Virgo alerts me while clinging to the air, trying to resist the wind which forces her to fall down the gap, "If Zapdos falls from the gap neither one of us will claim it."

"Zapdos will be mine!" Ebony shouts, dashing towards the Rocket Ball. She cares not for her safety. On the other side of Ebony's direction, Charlotte stands from the ground, running to the Rocket Ball. Ebony and Charlotte, they race against each other.

The train hits a lump causing it to shake. The shake accidentally made Charlotte and Ebony stumble. Lucky for Ebony that she stumbled on a seat but as for Charlotte. her stumble has placed her in a tight and dangerous position.

The trial of a lifetime. Who should I choose? Zapdos or my friend? Clinging to the train, nearly falling off the gap and down the bridge in Charlotte, and on the far side of the gap is no other than the Rocket Ball containing the mirage of lightning.

I am not prepared, for never in my life have I experienced such a trial before. I know, success is for the sake of Team Rocket but I cannot merely abandon my friend. I've lost one already, and another loss would make me depressed.

"Luna, take Zapdos instead," Charlotte says willingly. Eager she is to sacrifice herself, however, I do not abide by her decisions. Her death is too much to bear thus I chose to rescue her instead.

I grab her hands and speak to her, "Remember what I said back during the time I rescued you in prison? I'd never let go." I then smile, not minding the Rocket Ball which is about to fall. I care not if the executives will demote me, as long as I have my friend with me.

Seeing me choose her over the Rocket Ball has made her proud that I've become one of her friends. She smiles, nearly sobbing with joy as I pull her up with all my might.

"Enough with the sweet talk!" Ebony rises once more, shooting my hand with a grappling hook. I accidentally let go. This is the worse decision I've ever made in my life. I promised never to let her go no matter what the circumstances are.

Due to the hook from the grappling device, I lose my grip from Charlotte, and there she meets her agony. She falls down, as I scream her name. I mourn for her, trying to extend my hand dearly, however it serves no use.

My tears fall down, landing unto her face as she descends down the bridge. Despite all of this, she smiles back at me for one last time. I cannot accept this, revenge must be done. All those past happiness fades into nothing but sadness. My heart skipped a beat during the moment I accidentally release her from my grip. I regret doing this.

No emotion was present except for depression. This is too much to bear. I feel the urge of doing something I must not. If only time could revolve backward. I want to jump, killing myself in order to be with her. From my sadness comes anger. I crave to strangle Ebony's neck for her actions, however, I was too late. As I mourn for Charlotte, the Rocket Ball fell. She and her sister Emily somehow made the decision to jump off the train.

Me and Virgo wonder why. They then ascend, and the backpacks they once had turned into jet-packs. Even after killing my friend, Ebony mocks me while holding the Rocket Ball containing Zapdos. She winks and laughs hysterically.

"Charlotte is no more. You are a soft woman and your mourn for her proves my words." Ebony insults, angering me past my limits. They then leave from my sight. Drifting across the sky with the use of their jet-packs.

"I will not forget this!" I shout.

"Justice will be served," I mutter, letting the tears flow directly to my mouth. Zapdos and Articuno falls under the Rebirth Society. They've taken the life of my friend, and in return, I vow to take the life of their mother. They showed no mercy, and I will not too.
