EPISODE 56: Psychology*

We approach Giovanni for assistance and I question what lurks inside my sanity. For the past weeks, I've felt something pulling me down. I feel as if something is shifting from time to time.

The boss gladly accepts my plead for assistance and instructs me to explain everything. I feel doubtful at first, but he is the only one who could probably understand my crazed state. I told him the truth about my murder and crime.

I prepare my body's reaction for Giovanni's harsh words but I was shocked to see a grin on his face. He did not seem to worry nor did his physique show any signs of anger.

"Is it true? Did my parents leave Team Rocket because they believe that all you ever wanted was to become the richest man in the world?" I query in a fragile tone. My friends stood beside me, seemingly eager to know the real truth behind Mewtwo as well.

Giovanni inhales deeply, and started to explain. "Your parents desired for my position. They wanted to take my place so they fought against my will. Of course, I had no choice but to remove them from the organization but little do I know that they have established the Pokemon Government Council.

You see, the real goal of your mother and father was to claim Mewtwo for their own sake. They believed, that through Mewtwo, people and Pokemon can be merged into one in order to achieve greatness.

I, on the other hand, disagreed. People and Pokemons, just like what I've said before, have their own unique capabilities.

Your father was always known as a coward and your mother is one of the bravest women I've met. They seem to be polar opposites, don't they?

Your mother is also one of the Combat Category's greatest agents yet she chose to follow your father's footsteps and leave the organization.

This is the truth you wish to seek, although I know nothing about your birth except for the fact that you were abandoned." Giovanni utters with a subtle yet encouraging voice. His accent seems convincing enough for me to believe in.

"Your father and mother is a treason of lies. They may seem influential when in fact they are just playing with your mind.

Of course, every action has its own consequences right? You did the right choice, and now they know the feeling of a daughter who has been long abandoned just because of a mere disorder." Giovanni augments.

Minutes later, Matori enters the room with a yellow folder on her hand. That folder contains the results of my therapy a while ago before leaving the clinic. Aside from treating my asthma, the doctor somewhat interviewed me about my personality and identity.

"Luna Evergreen, you are diagnosed with a psychological disorder known as Multiple Personality Disorder or perhaps in other terms, Dissociative Identity.

It is thought to be a complex psychological condition that is likely caused by many factors, including severe trauma during early childhood (usually extreme, repetitive physical, or emotional abuse).

A person who as this type of disorder is most likely vulnerable to two distinct personality traits." Giovanni opened the yellow folder and dictated my results. It brought fear and terror to my eyes.

"You must've acquired it during the times when you weren't a member of Team Rocket yet. Those who have bullied you, it remained as a stain in your heart and therefore grew into something far worse." Giovanni adds.

"Are there any available treatments?" Charlotte questioned with an inadequate tone.

"I believe therapies would do the trick but not for Luna. Her aggression seems to be above the usual and therefore she has no choice but to control it." Giovanni responds in a subtle way which makes me both stunned and miserable.

"I don't want to kill anybody, what do I need to do in order to learn how to control it?"

"Your question can only be answered by you. Although, I suggest that you take advantage of your disorder. Aggression isn't always bad if you learn how to control it." Giovanni suggests with a rather unusual and convincing tone.

The three of us left Giovanni's abode. Charlotte and Xavier remained silent as for me, I remained puzzled. Controlling myself seems like a hard task.

"Giovanni is right..." I stop for a moment then muttered.

"This is my opportunity to take revenge. I can finally make those who have abused me regret their decisions for bullying me."

"Luna, Giovanni never meant it that way. Perhaps it's better to control this other personality of yours rather than plotting a revenge." Xavier places his hand on my shoulder and tries to ease my crazed thoughts.

I respond with ignorance and continue to saunter through the halls. I could feel two emotions trying to triumph over one another. They shackled my sanity in order for my inner freedom to suffer. Controlling them seems like a dull thing to do. Should I choose compassion? Should I choose aggression? Or perhaps, a bit of both?

Luna's mind will intensify over time to the point that she [SPOILER]
