EPISODE 46: Training in the Cave!*

Another leave, I took before the commencing of our ultimate scheme. I've heard the news report yesterday and as the culprit, and Zeal as a witness, we tried to remain comfortable with it. I'm used to hearing the reports of my own actions and watching the Pokemon International Police to find "whodunit" which was me all along but Sinnoh, being large, is quite intimidating or uncomfortable, as if you're a serial killer known throughout the whole country. Now that's worth choking my saliva on.

Today, I planned to visit a known cave throughout this region in Pastoria City. It's the city closest to Lake Valor, one of the three biggest lakes in this region. They even have their own hotel at their lakefront. As for the lake itself, it is prohibited to go fishing or swimming for the sake of not disrupting Azelf's sleep. Since I was on a leave, I went to the city before my team early in the morning. They'll be coming to the lake and they'll be contacting me once they reach there so I could come and join their scheme to capture Azelf.

Pastoria City is home to the gym leader of water types, Crasher Wake. He's every citizen's idol in this city because of his skills. I even heard, he can stay within a flowing waterfall for more than three hours during his meditation!

Boisterous and dramatic, Crasher Wake is a very extroverted trainer of sorts. He is extremely adamant in his beliefs, going so far in his training to the point of enduring the raw power of a heavy waterfall to prove it. Despite not being a Fighting-type specialist, Crasher Wake enjoys proving his muscle even in defeat. Oh, and another fact, he is the mentor of the fighting genius Maylene.

While I headed to the Pastoria Caves to train, Crasher Wake was busy roaming the city, seeing a sea shanty I think, "The ring is my rolling sea. The towering waves shaped me. Crash! Crash! Crasher Wake!Crash! Crash! Crasher Wake! I'm the tidal wave of power to wash you away! Put out the fire, Crasher Wake! Run from electricity, Crasher Wake! Ah, ah, aaaah! The ring is my sea" there, he stopped his little shanty for a while after noticing a Team Galactic grunt lurking nearby.

He hid behind a post, though he wasn't as thin as one so right... that didn't work out as planned but at least the grunt didn't notice him. He eavesdropped the grunt who said to his caller, "Commander Jupiter is arriving soon, be at Lake Valor by twelve."

"Ah?! Little pirates out to the lake? Time to call the champion for this." Crasher Wake was alerted; hence he called Cynthia on his phone.

Meanwhile, it was time for my training to begin inside the Pastoria Cave. Alone, in a vast area of rocks with drooling teeth hanging above me, this will be a blast like Rocket Blast! And here came my Pokemon that I threw out of their Pokeball. Lily, Shelgon, Mawile, Mismagius, Absol, and Gardevoir. A full team of female Pokemon, ready for action!

"Gardevoir, moon blast!" "Lily, go with Petal Blizzard!" "Shelgon, Roll-out, let's go!" "Mawile, Iron Head, and Mismagius Shadow Ball!" "Meanwhile, go attack with Quick Attack, Absol!"

I commanded all six of my Pokemon to target for the boulders. Based on the scratch and damage dealt, I can analyze how strong they've grown over time. Moon Blast wrecked a boulder into two. Petal Blizzard did the same as so as Iron Head. Shadow Ball did a slight crack while Quick Attack abolished it completely. Meanwhile, Roll-out was pleasing for the attack crumbled the boulders into pieces.

Mismagius is my problem so far. I want that to go from a crack to a full explosion, and so with patience and persistence, I went forth with Shadow Ball over and over again until I see some improvements. I haven't been using Mismagius recently which might explain the reason why. Anyhow, patience is a virtue and I'm not stopping until Mismagius's Shadow Ball goes from weak to strong.

"Okay! Water break everyone." I dismissed the training for now and prepared their tumblers except for Absol and Shelgon who drinks in a bowl. Would be amazing if they learned how to drink in a tumbler with four legs though, but that's entirely impossible.

"Weird, Charlotte hasn't called yet, it's near ten already." and so, while drinking water I noticed my team haven't alerted me of their arrival. I thought we were going to do it before ten but it looks like there were some changes to the plan.

Back to training after that water break. My Pokemon are all energetic and pumped up. It's time to continue from where we've left off when suddenly someone behind me attacked and aimed for the ground. My jaw dropped as I steadily tilted my head behind to see what interruption had a paid a visit to my training session.

It would feel weird if Pokemon drank like dogs. Hehe, so I used tumblers instead except for Absol and Shelgon who has four legs.
