EPISODE 37: Aggresion*

"I am sorry, but I believe that Absol belongs to us. Oh, and don't worry... your friends are fine." Professor Violet utters with a malicious scowl. I am surrounded by her and the wardens of the laboratory. They point their Pokeballs at me, in case they need to take legal actions.

"What did you do to my friends, and why are you experimenting on Absol?!"

"Experimenting? Or don't you mean, upgrading? You see, with Kanto's latest technology, it is now possible to inject Pokemons with Pokerus.

It is a virus that has the compatibility to strengthen the stats of a Pokemon. Finding an infected one is just like searching for a diamond in a lake, so thanks to my genuine research, Pokemons now have the compatibility to acquire the virus by both natural and man-made manifestations. Now, I believe you are trespassing our facility, which means we have to arrest you." Violet utters with a vicious scowl on her face. Our eyes glare unto one another, and our anger surpasses our limits.

"Luna... get Absol, and run out of the lab immediately," Xavier utters with a hurried mood. I could hear him gasping for air while creaks of Pokemon cries can be heard from the background.

"Xavier? What happened?!"

"It's a long story. Just get Absol! Go Mightyena, use Crunch." Xavier instructs. The weak signal interrupts our communication, causing the earbud to broadcast irritating buzzing noises.

"Let go of Absol of right now," I demand with an earnest lour. Every inch of the room, my eyes scour upon just to find the perfect escape route. Behind me is no other than a fire exit, but I must be certain that Absol will be escaping me.

Professor Violet teased me and Absol by turning on the machine. Another packet of the virus sample was inserted inside the injured body. My sympathy for Absol grew thicker than a blood cloth as I felt an abrupt feeling towards the laboratory.

"Can't you see that we are only trying to help Pokemons? Pain, the only price for salvation. Of course, one must suffer in order to gain its true potential. Am I right?"

"I'll never forgive you for this." I infuriate with the clench of fists. My teeth grate upon each other, as the abrupt feeling intensifies. It is my first time to feel such sensation, a sensation with mere satisfaction from the start, and stagnant regret at the end.

Absol's body twitched, I could hear her yearn for assistance. Her sight slowly fades away, and her strength met the opposite fate of what the virus is intended to do.

"Do you think you can stop the way of the future?! This is the future. You are surrounded, young lass, and there is no way out. Surrender now, or you'll surely lose the fight." Professor Violet warns.

"If its a fight you want, then I'll give you one! Kirlia come out now!" Without a moment to lose, I toss Kirlia's Pokeball. She burst forth with the same sensation I feel. According to psychologists, Pokemons such as Kirlia can feel whatever his or her trainer is feeling. They have the power to imitate such emotions.

"You? Do you think you can stand in the way of the future with a shiny Kirlia?! Foolishness!"

"Do not deceive me nor my Pokemons, this is my last warning, let Absol go."

"Girls like you are meant to be deceived. You are nothing but a feeble brat, a brat with no dream, no purpose. You're just a traveler seeking for an answer you will never find." Professor Violet mocks sarcastically. Her words have pushed my anger beyond my limits, I'm not going to challenge her to a battle, if she wants a taste of her own medicine so be it.

"Say that again..." I smile sarcastically.

"One word is enough for a wise man, although I suppose you are not since just like what I've uttered upon you, you're nothing but a brat."

"Kirlia, let's give them a taste of their own medicine... literally."

<Kirl! Kirlia!>Kirlia agitates, perhaps even higher than mine agitation. The lights start to flicker with Kirlia's eyes turning into Lunar Eclipses. The spare injections placed over a rugged table flew around Kirlia, and now points towards professor Brat and the officers.

"Fight me, and I will ask Kirlia to pierce these injections to your bones. If you spare no mercy upon Absol, I will spare no mercy to you." Something is certainly controlling me, for why would my deepest emotions run away from its shadows? The other side has taken over, a fiercer Luna. All those words of motivation that my mother has uttered upon me has now been long forgotten. A new Luna is now in charge, and I will dread everyone who dares stand in the way of Giovanni.

"Are you insane?! The Pokerus is a poison towards humanity." Professor Violet's body trembles. The wardens sent out their Pokemons but I have no intention of hitting them, for why hit the pawn when you can take down the king?

"This is your last warning, release Absol or the poison will seal your fate."

"Hmph, guards... let go of Absol. We can get another one anyways." Professor Violet utters with an intense and forced tone.

The wardens acted immediately and removed all the cables attached to Absol. As a bonus, they also gave Absol three hyper potions.

"Take Absol and leave the laboratory, but first ask your Kirlia to drop those injections." Professor Violet pleads.

With one command, Kirlia gladly places down the injections on the rugged table. The three of us left the room with eyes glancing upon our souls. My intentions in the lab is over, now its time to help Xavier and Charlotte.

The storm dashes forth upon the humus which filled the forest. From afar, I see Charlotte and Xavier dealing with two wardens. It is an unanticipated occurrence that these two wardens are in fact Patrick, and Josh. Battling their Pokemons will be a waste of time, but battling the trainer, now that's much easier. Like what they say, once you take down the king, the whole kingdom crumbles. Takedown the trainer, and the Pokemon crumbles.

"Mightyena, use Crunch!"

"Golbat, Supersonic right now!"

"Raticate, Hyper fang go!" Patrick instructs.

"Growlithe, use Ember," Josh instructs.

Mud puddles serves as battlefield. Neither of them has a coat to shelter themselves from the rain. This is a battle to determine who will be held captive. Team Rocket, or the PGC?

"Petilil, attack the wardens from behind, use Razor Leaf!" I instruct with such aggressiveness.

Petilil became shocked by my words, for she knows me as a compassionate and loving being. Little does she know, that all of that is a figment of the past, or is it?

<Pet! Petilil!>Petilil disagrees with my commandments, causing me to enrage at her.

<Absol! Absol!>Absol takes charge and followed my commandment. Of course, being a dark type, she has no compatibility or whatsoever of learning razor leaf.

Absol pierces Patrick and Josh's skin wish Shadow claw, causing it to swell. Charlotte and Xavier are left with shock by my actions as so as the wardens.

"Luna?! What was that for?" Charlotte questions.

"Leave my friends alone, let Absol's attack serve as a warning." I have neglected Charlotte's words and focused on the wardens instead.

Their eyes are shrouded with fear, the look I've been wanting to see. Now my name will forever remain at their memory.

The wardens left immediately before getting into much serious trouble. They did not dare to look back at me as they run back to the laboratory.

"Luna, you nearly killed those wardens!" Xavier scolds.

"They deserve that for battling you and Charlotte. Be glad that I was able to rescue the both of you."

"Luna, Team Rocket is an organization, not a blood cult."

No matter how much they scold me, there's nothing they can do. Technically, I didn't kill the wardens which means Team Rocket isn't a blood cult. My first mission is a success, Giovanni will surely be happy with my progress. As for my aggression, it somewhat cooled down on our way back to the city. Charlotte glance at me, as if I was a complete stranger to her.

Luna has multi personality disorder. People with this type of disorder are mostly victims of severe abuse or insults. More will be explained through other chapters, especially on how she acquired it. (It can be acquired either from birth or even by the reasons stated above)

Currently, Luna doesn't know she has the disorder.

I have planned a chapter which will explain Luna's sudden shift of aggressiveness and compassion.
