EPISODE 105: Purification!***
With the Rebirth Society finally gone, there is only one problem face. My escape pod lands directly at the collapsed tower. I immediately went out wherein I met Kris with her eyebrows tangled in a frown.
"Oh, Luna. You let them free? I thought you were going to end them." Kris recalls.
"I was but Lilith decided to choose the right path of her own. Now, I only have one more thing to fix and that is Shadow Lugia." I reply to her as I scour around the dilapidated tower.
From my search, I found the blackened Silver Wing. Immediately, I point, extending my hand to the gale of darkness with the wing on my fingers. I yell the chant sincerely, "Soul of Silver, summon the deity of the wind and sea!"
My voice was heard throughout the area. It was even able to catch the attention of the five Kimono Girls standing above the pinnacle of the bell tower. They all look down, and there they saw me. Seeing the Silver wing on my grasps has made them sigh with relief.
As for Jenny and Virgo, they wave from the tower, with bodies filled with ecstasy after seeing me. The time has come to undo everything. Slowly, the blackness of the feather fades, revealing its true and natural lustrous beauty. The dark clouds disperse from the sky, making themselves even thinner than a feather.
"Soul of Silver, summon the deity of the wind and sea!" I call to the skies. The louder I chant, the more attracted Lugia becomes towards us. Just like the feather, its shadow withers, revealing the pristine whiteness of the Pokemon.
After its purification, Lugia lets out a shriek as Ho-Oh does the same. The children( The mirages and the legendary beast) on the other hand, grinned widely to see everything brought back to harmony. Fire, Ice, and lightning. The three were in a state of equilibrium once more.
From the two legends of Johto reigning from above comes glitters of gold and silver. Things start to become relieving and happy. All those who were corrupted by the light finally returned to life. All those flakes of soil emerged from the ground, reforming to their true bodies.
Buildings, people, and Pokemon, all returned as the fabric(of order) were sown at last.
"Ethan!" Kris yelps with relief over the distance as she rushes to him at an electric pace. As she rushes, tears fall off her face.
"Kris!" Ethan grins back to see his friend running back to him. The two hug each other for once separated, now reunited. Detective Looker who also returned alongside with Eusine and the other officers. Silver's body was also brought back to existence together with his Feraligatr.
As for the dilapidated tower, Ho-Oh and Lugia brought it back to its former glory, symbolizing the end of the dreaded prophecy. Lastly, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, alongside with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres made one final cry as the two legends followed from behind.
Throughout my expedition in the Johto Region, this is by far one of the best I've experienced in my life. The people started to clap their hands, cheering at each other after the dreaded conflict.
From the skies arose a beautiful rainbow. All our hearts were touched by its attractiveness. The sensation of peace shrouds the whole region. I see children playing around again, mothers happy to reunite with their families. Livelihood in the society has made its way back.
"You've done a great job, Luna." Jenny and Virgo compliments upon descending from the tower.
"Remember, I did this for Team Rocket."
"Heh, am I to believe that? Maybe the Kimono Girls are right. You may be malevolent and all, but a part of you is benevolent. I hope at least." Jenny says sarcastically while rubbing my head. With everything finally in harmony, all the legendary Pokemon returns to their havens and chambers. Mt.Ember, the Power Plant, and Seafoam Island. As for the beasts, who knows where they may lurk? I even hypothesize that I could meet them once more. As for Lugia and Ho-Oh, they fly higher than the clouds, never to be seen again.
I then heard the sounds of propellers and I was in ecstasy after realizing it was Xeryll all along.
"Luna! Virgo! Come on, the executives are calling us back to headquarters." Xeryll winks and extends down a dangling wire for us to leave. I tilt my head to the skies and saw the other Team Rocket helicopters leaving with the grunts as well. It looks like we're the only ones running late.
"Pfft. Go! You deserve it, Luna. I won't tell the detective a single thing. You can count on me. But! The next time we meet, it's back to rivals understood?" She says rambunctiously.
I giggle then reply, "Oh Jenny, you're rambunctious as ever. It's a deal, it's back to rivals once we meet again. Come on Virgo, let's head back to the island."
"Right! Right! Right!" Virgo says happily, uttering her words in a fast manner.
"Take care Luna, Virgo!" Upon reaching the helicopter, Kris and Ethan wave their hands. Meanwhile, we wave back at them, bidding our final goodbyes.
"So? Where to next Kris?"
"Oh, you know me, Ethan! It's up to the Pokemon League. I can't wait to challenge the Elite Four." Kris responds with full determination.
And so, the sun begins to fall as dusk finally arrives. Back on my way to our headquarters, I realized something that I forgot all along. Our goal! "Ah?! This was our perfect opportunity to capture Ho-Oh and Lugia Virgo! We missed it." I panic on the helicopter, shaking her body violently.
"Relax Luna. It's not like the executives are going to fire us or whatsoever." Virgo calms me, tweaking and fixing her eyeglasses afterward.
"I-I guess."
"So, what did the Rebirth Society say?"
"Oh them? They told me to call them in case Team Rocket needs help with any serious problem. One she suspects is her so-called, "dimensional freak" in the Alola Region."
"A dimensional freak? Hmm, I think she's referring to a woman named Lusamine."
"Lusamine?!"
"Oh sorry, I barely remember her biography. You see, I was sleepy during that time so yeah... I just read the title of the website and skimmed through her biography. That is pretty much it."
And from that moment, I remained curious, wondering who this Lusamine could be? A friend or foe?
