Red eyes of monstrosity, blackish-purple skin, wings of ebony. Shadow Lugia, this is my first time to see a shadow Pokemon. I've heard from the internet about an organization responsible for the first shadow Pokemon. It is said, once a Pokemon's heart is blocked then no joy will come thus the advent of the said category. This is a rare occasion, but if I am not mistaken Shadow Lugia was foretold by the prophecy of Johto. A corrupted heart turns silver into black.
Shadow Lugia lets off a strong cry, strengthening the winds, creating even more havoc throughout the land. The power it bears within forges gales of darkness, making the clouds darker than usual.
"What have you done?!" I shout at Ebony who appears to be rising to her feet from the parallel tower.
"I've done what my mother told me. I wasn't aware of this. I wasn't." Ebony responds, frightened of the abomination she summoned.
From the mother ship, Lilith bangs the front glass violently like a zombie. She panics gravely, trying to gather the attention of her daughter. Inside her is cold blood, worried for her Ebony.
"Ebony! Ebony!" She shouts desperately but despite all of this, the daughter couldn't hear the voice of the mother.
From the monster's mouth, it unleashes an orb of darkness towards us. Ho-Oh quickly retaliates, unleashing an orb of gold. The two orbs collided, causing an explosion in the sky. From that moment, the three mirages and the three beasts leaped unto one another, fighting with raw strength and power.
This is the symbol of the continuation. I thought this would've ended upon summoning Ho-Oh, after all, it exists to quell a conflict such as this but that did not go out as planned. Below us, the fighting continues. Grunts against grunts, innocent against culprits. Is this what the prophecy meant? Is this what Tres foresaw?
"I care for the society, not for the region. I will end this right now. This is the purpose of the Rebirth Society. Johto will be reborn." Humboldt yells to the three of us, pointing one of those guns with explosive thingies. Even up until this day I am uncertain on what term they use for those kinds of weapons.
<Sui!>Suicune takes the hit, blocking to protect us from the bullet. It then crashes to the ground, injured with scars and wounds. I want to wrap it with solaces, giving all my sympathy to the Pokemon but that seems like a tough task not to mention I on top of the tower.
"Peace forged from chaos, I do not see any logic in that," Jenny shouts to Humboldt. Her blood boils hotter than a volcano.
"In time you will understand. We are like prophets. We tried to bring you inside but people like you disagreed. Now, the storm, the gale of darkness has arrived. With the light from our weaponry, a new Johto will rise. If there is a will, there is a way, this is the way." Humboldt counters.
Back at the ground, the light continues to succumb to everyone, turning anyone to dust as long as it touches their skins. Back at the ship, Lilith's panic only strengthens the more she sees Ebony under a very tight spot. The tower continues to shake and just like the mechanics of Jenga, a famous board game, remove a delicate piece and everything will collapse. The same applies to their tower.
Below, I hear the screams of horror. People calling out moves to their Pokemon while others purposely go to the light in order to but time for their families to escape. Although this is meant to happen, I believe there is a way to undo all of this.
"Th- This is madness," Ebony utters to her conscience. She now realizes that her mother's actions were wrong and unjust. She regretted her decision to fight with Emily, to murder all those innocent lives only to fulfill her mother's dream. Aside from this, she was tired, exhausted from everything including everyone/
"What have I done. I was never expecting this." She murmurs, kneeling on the floor while clenching her fists tightly. Later, tears start to drop as her heart throbbed.
"We have to leave immediately Harold! This tower is about to collapse anytime sooner. The damage will be grave, capable of ending our lives for good." Professor warns. From our tower, she seems to be panicking while typing on her laptop.
"Emily was right. This isn't what father would've wanted. I had enough of this." She yells with frustration, standing from the floor and stepping to the edge of the tower. Humboldt quickly pulls her back, refraining her from jumping. In the ship, Lilith saw everything. It was at that moment when she knew how angry Ebony was to her.
Back at the ground, the fight intensifies, and nearly half of the city is now nothing but dust, forcing trainers and grunts to retreat inwards. As for Ho-Oh, it fought with might against Shadow Lugia. Raikou fought against Articuno, Entei fought against Zapdos, and Suicune against Moltres.
"I had enough of her lies." She yells, to Harold, removing his grip and finally jumping off the tower. As she descends, she mourns and sobs, draining all her tears. Meanwhile, her mother begs for a miracle to take place. Seeing her daughter fall in purpose made her heart faint.
Before hitting the ground a portal emerges and saves Ebony. She was teleported to the pinnacle of the Bell Tower. From the moment she fell, I knew something must be done, and thus with Gardevoir, I saved her life.
"Why?! Why did you save me?" Ebony enrages at me, clenching my shoulders tightly. Slowly, she lets them go and kneels on the ground. She then continues to sob as her tears burst forth like water from a dam. At the ground, the tension between trainers and grunts aggravates.
"There are too many grunts," Ethan complains, wiping off the rainwater covering his face.
"I am aware of that. I'm trying my best to fight." Kris answers while fighting. Her hope rests upon the max revives she bought in the Pokemon Mart. Although, too much may disrupt or harm a Pokemon's health that is why I rarely use them for their safety. In conditions like this, however, everything must be done.
"This far worse than Team Rocket." Silver adds, fighting with his Feraligatr. All in all, the three trainers fought with their remaining strength. Their sweat blended with the raindrops.
As for Volume Three, I plan to make chapters a bit longer with a maximum amount of 2K words.
