Prologue: Euphrates

Flapping its wings, a Noivern followed a Dragonite with fear and shock in his eyes.

Both of them were flying over a place that could be called magical.

The place had multiple large islands, each of them having a different terrain like a volcano, a desert, a grassland, etc.

Each island had a specific type of Pokémon living in them, with all of them being above elite rank.

But what made him shake with fear was the presence of champion and beyond champion rank Pokémon that didn't bother to hide their presence like the Dragonite he was following.

The Dragonite was bigger than any Dragonite he had ever seen, with skin harder than stone.

Although he too was in the elite rank and the apex predator of his area, he currently felt like an insignificant ant.

Going by the estimate, there were at least two hundred Pokémon living in all of the islands combined.

In the north were the Psychic, Ghost, Dark, and Fairy islands.

In the south were Grass, Rock, Ice, and Ground islands.

In the west were Fire, Dragon, and Lightning Islands.

In the east were Lightning, Poison, Flying and Fighting islands.

While all the water bodies on which these islands were located belonged to the water types.

The place they were going was Dragon Island in the West.

Dragonite lowered his altitude as they started flying over the Volcanic island, where Pokémon like Blaziken, Infernape, Emboar, Arcanine, Typhlosion, Charizard, and many more could be seen living and fighting, with a beyond champion rank Charizard looking over the entire land sitting on the top of a volcano.

The Charizard made eye contact with the Noivern for a second, sending chills down his spine.

'Dragonite said all of them follow a master... I wonder what kind of creature the master is to be able to keep these monsters under control.' Noivern thought.

Crossing the Volcanic Island, they finally entered Dragon Island with an enormous Hydreigon skull as its entrance.

Half of the island was covered in a strange mist that made Noivern feel stronger.

There were beautiful waterfalls all over the island, but the main attraction of the island was the different kinds of Dragons living there.

There were Dragonites, Salamence, Garchomp, Haxorus, Hydreigon, and many more.

Since Noivern was a dragon type too, he could feel their strength, making him realize he was the weakest on his island.

Noivern's instincts kicked in as he dodged a Hyper Beam from below. He looked down and found a champion rank Dragonite fighting against another champion rank Garchomp.

Out of fear, Noivern increased his speed even more.

"You have good instincts, I knew I didn't make the wrong choice selecting you," Dragonite replied as he lowered his altitude.

"This is your home now, and all these dragons will be your comrades," Dragonite said, landing near a cave.

"Can I meet the master you talked about?" Noivern asked.

"Don't be in a hurry, you will meet him soon enough," Dragonite replied as two Haxorus slowly approached the cave.

"He will be joining you all from today, show him how we live, I have important things to do," Dragonite said, pointing towards the Haxorus.

The two Haxorus bowed to Dragonite as he took to the skies, releasing a sonic boom.

Dragonite roared mightily, and all the Dragons on the island got prepared.

Dragonite slowly landed on the center island, which didn't have many Pokémon living on it because only the strongest were allowed to live there.

Dragonite slowly walked towards the large mansion in the middle of the island, where a lot of Pokémon were already present, all of them being beyond champion rank.

At the front were Charizard, Nidoking, Victreebel, Pidgeot,Gyarados, Salamence, Articuno, Tyranitar, Flygon, Xerneas, Yveltal, Gengar, Zapdos, and Alakazam.

They were the rulers of their respective islands and commanded an army of a specific type.

After the rulers were Volcanion, Clefable, Gengar, Sylveon, Arcanine, Aerodactyl,Scizor, Haxorus, and himself, who were the second in command of the armies.

Behind them were the Pokémon who were not given any rank but were equally strong, like Garchomp, Metagross, Goodra, and Slaking.

The door of the mansion opened, and a human walked out with three Pokémon following him: Darkrai, Mewtwo, and Celebi.

That human was the master of these lands and all these monsters... Aoki Gunhildr.

Dragonite felt the absorption of Dark aura into his body increase as he got closer to Aoki.

"Good job everyone!

If we all keep improving like this, I am sure we will ensure a positive future for ourselves and this world," Aoki said, making everyone smile.

"Now for the thing I called you all, your comrade Timaet will undergo his last evolution. As the custom that we have followed so far, you all are here to witness his evolution and encourage him.

"Dragonite, Nidoking, Yveltal, Alakazam, have you informed your army, right?" Aoki asked.

All of them nodded.

Aoki smiled excitedly and released a three-headed Zweilous from its Pokéball.

Zweilous roared and took to the skies as his size started to rapidly increase until it was about forty meters tall.

The entire sky got covered in a red light as the body of Zweilous started glowing like a Black Sun.

This black Sun was visible from every single island.

Pokémon of Dragon Island, Ghost Island, Dark Island, Psychic Island, and Poison Island released their energies as they started to get absorbed into the Black Sun.

The energy of chaos and Dark Aura also started to get absorbed into the Black Sun.

The size of the Black Sun increased, and finally, it exploded, releasing a shockwave of pure energy that every Pokémon there absorbed into their bodies.

What came out of the Black Sun was a hundred meters tall five-headed Hydreigon.

The Titan Timaet was back in its true form.

With his ability to manipulate its size, Timaet began shrinking until it was the size of a normal Hydreigon.

Aoki wrapped his hands around one of the heads of Hydreigon and congratulated him for the evolution.

Yveltal laughed, seeing this scene as a wave of nostalgia hit him.

Although circumstances were different, three retainers of Giratina were together again.

"What the hell is that?! Am I hallucinating?!" Noivern fell to the ground in shock.

"That's boss Timaet, he is one of the top powerhouses," one of the Haxorus said.

"Welcome to the Euphrates, the dimension created by Lord Darkrai...

Don't worry, newbie, you will be seeing ridiculous scenes every day from now on," the other Haxorus said with a smile.

Welcome to a new volume of the story.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to provide regular updates due to my busy life but I will try to drop at least two chapters per week.

This volume, I will change the flow of time in the story a bit since some of the arcs will be in flashbacks.
