Catching a prehistoric Pokemon

There is a reason why a lot of people avoid the profession of a trainer, and why parents don't want their kids to become trainers.

The dangers of wild Pokemon.

Trainers don't realize the level of danger they are putting themselves in unless they come in front of a predator.

This was what a lot of trainers and Pokemon were feeling right now.

The gaze of a predator petrified their movements.

Although Aerodactyl was not doing anything, his mere peak elite-level aura was able to instill this effect.

More so the fact that Aerodactyl had abilities called Unnerve and Pressure which intensified the effect of intimidation.

"Hey look that's Ash !!" Daisy pointed at the human who was being held by the prehistoric Pokemon.

"Hang on Ash !!! we are coming to save you !!"

Brock's voice had no effect as Ash appeared to be unconscious.

Before anyone could say anything Ash's Pidgeot flew towards the Aerodactyl with Pikachu on his back.

Pidgeot and Pikachu broke out of their fear for their trainer's wellbeing.

"I..will not stop here.

I will not be scared but like a chicken...I can never call myself I trailer if I don't stand challenges" Gary muttered biting his lips.

He took out a Pokeball and released his strongest Pokemon.

"Blastoise destroy that flying lizard !!

Hydro Cannon!"

Gary's words resonated creating an effect of encouragement making people come out of their petrified state.

Trainers started releasing their Pokemon one by one as everyone wanted to be the one to catch the Aerodactyl.

Just as Pidgeot reached the Aerodactyl, he was attacked with a devastating Hyperbeam that he dodged narrowly but the attack hit the ground and caused a huge explosion.

Pikachu used Thunderbolt on Aerodactyl but that doesn't seem to have any effect on the Pokemon.

As Pidgeot, Aeodactyl, and Pikachu got into a battle, more and more pokemon started getting involved in the fight.

Flying type pokemon from the sky and other types of Poemons attacked from the ground.

Aerodactyl phased through every attack like nothing and kept thrashing every Pokemon on his way.

"What is that monster!!! "

"Why is it not going down!!!"

Screams of confusion and horror resonated and trainers for the first time experienced the rampage of an elite-level Pokemon.

As time went on Aerodactyl became faster and stronger as it rapidly got used to the powers that it had during its prime.

Aoki released Clefable and Victreebel and asked them to make sure no one died.

Charizard who watched the battle picked up the Charmeleon below his feet only to be hit with a flamethrower on his face which didn't do anything.

"That's your trainer right…go help him out.!

Stop embarrassing yourself more than what you already have.

From what I know, he saved you and was there for you when you were at your lowest.

Stop tarnishing our bloodline and go help him out"

Holding Charmeleon by his head Charizard threw him at the Aerodactyl that was thrashing other Pokemon.

Charmeleon ignored what Charizard said just now and used Flamethrower which was countered by Whirlwind.

Initially, Aerodactyl's intentions were to go to the surface in search of food but after coming to the surface, when he saw such a large gathering, he decided to have some fun hunting.

Aerodactyl 's main source of food was gone due to someone interfering so he had to now find food himself.

This place full of food was paradise for him and this Aerodactyl had a habit of playing with his food before eating.

The battle intensified as more and more Pokemon attacked Aerodactyl who attacked with stronger power.

Due to a large amount of movement, Ash woke up and freaked out, as this was happening Aerodactyl dropped Ash who had to focus more on the battle.

Aerodactyl roared and started a large-scale sandstorm that lowered the visibility and made the area more unfavorable.

Slowly Pokemons started fainting making trainers run away from the scene till a few trainers were left in which one of which was Gary.

Seeing the situation getting worse every second and the Pokemons losing, one of the staff members decided to fly to the nearest city for backup.

Misty commanded Slowking to use psychic and all three of them teleported back to where Aoki was.

Ash's Pidgeot, Pikachu, Daisy, and Brock saw Slowking's actions and backed off toward Ash but Charmeleon was still fighting.

Pikachu and Pidgeot immediately cuddled with Ash after seeing him safe.

Ash recounted the events that happened and gave back Brock Gravellar's Pokeball.

At that moment, Ash appeared in front of him creating a hole in the surface for him.

"Ash your Charmeleon is still fighting that Aerodactyl" Aoki informed Ash.

Ash made a horrified face as he knew that Charmelon could never win against such an opponent that was playing with around 20 Pokemons like nothing.

"You should discipline your Pokemons more Ash or you will regret it in the future, "

"What is your problem huh? You are the one that bullied Charmeleon and sent him to battle. You have done nothing significant so far so keep quiet !!

Just because you are Brock's friend what you did was forgivable " Daisy lashed out at Aoki.

Ash's Pokemon after hearing that stared at him with hostility only to be suppressed by one look from Charizard.

"Daisy Stop!

Is that true Aoki? " Ash said.

Aoki ignored what Ash said and pointed at Charmeleon that was struggling.

"Sometimes growth requires an external factor and a push at the right time.

You should be grateful for what I did or else Charmeleon would have taken a long time to grow."

Ash looked toward Charmeleon and his eyes went wide like the others.

The body of Charmeleon was enveloped in white light as he started evolving.

The build of frustrations and continuous damage to his pride had made him reach his limit and trigger his evolution which would have come much later.

The evolution ended as Ash's Charmeleon had evolved into a Charizard.

"Well thank me later"

Ash's newly evolved Charizard started attacking more ferociously with everything he had but now that there are fewer Pokemon fighting Aerodavtyl was able to use more power and thrashed the master-level Charizard.

Ash ran towards his Charizardrd to support him.

"Call back your Charizard Ash, it's time for me to show how a real Charizard fights "

Aoki felt like Aerodactyl had caused enough destruction and it was time to end it.

Strong trainers like Gary were still fighting the Aerodactyl but there was no chance of them taking down that ancient monster.

Aoki was delighted to see the power that Aerodactyl was using while fighting.

Based on its reaction time, speed and power Aoki could say that the Aerodactyl was quite a fighter during its time which didn't get rusted over time.

Slowly the Aerodactyl was getting used to the moves and strategies of trainers and overpowering them again.

That Aerodactyl had a wide variety of moves taken to very high mastery levels like Wing attack, Ancient power, rock slide, Stone edge, Agility, Crunch, Iron head, Hyperbeam, Dragon Claw, sandstorm, Dragon pulse, etc.

It was good to see that the trainers fighting were right on time to call back their Pokemon when they were defeated and not let Aerodactyl kill them.

Victreebell and Clefable were there to save the Pokemon and trainers who didn't manage to react on time so there was no casualty so far.

Aoki could see anger in Aerodactyl's eyes as he was seeing his prey magically disappear into Pokeballs.

Initially, he wanted to see if Ash's Charizard could put up a fight against Aerodactyl but things turned different.

It was true that Ash's Charizard reached peak master rank after evolution but the power boost was not enough to take down that ancient beast.

Moreover, Aerodactyl was controlling the environment with the moving sandstorm. He had used Ancient power a few times raising all his stats a lot.

Aoki turned to his Pokemon standing beside him.

"Charizard let's go "

Roar!!!

Hearing Aoki's signal Charizard roared and completely released his energy restrains.

Charizard's roar was even more terrifying than the one Aerodactyl used making every Pokemon petrified again.

Charizard's roar had different intent than that of Aerodactyl…..His roar issued a challenge.

This attracted the attention of Aerodactyl who looked at Charizard with madness.

Aoki's Charizard flew passed Ash's Charizard while making eye contact for a second.

That one look conveyed a lot of feeling, but the most important message was ' Watch and learn'.

"Clefable, Victreebel…stop anyone from interfering in the fight.

Misty cleared out the area! "

""Roger !!" "

Both Aoki and Misty started running toward the central area.

Misty released her Golduck, Starmie, and Politoed while Slowking was already around her.

"All of you use Psychic and stop all the Pokemons and trainers from moving " Misty commanded.

The trainers fighting the Aerodactyl found themselves being stopped by an external force.

Some shouted angrily but those voices were suppressed.

"Anything is fair in the way of Pokemon training" Misty muttered with a smirk.

Gary looked at his Kadabra who could teleport him but Gary asked not to.

Back to the battle.

Aerodactyl used Stone edge which was responsible for taking down a lot of Pokemon but Charizard effortlessly dodged every single one of them.

"Charizard use Dragon Dance and Sunny day"

Charizard roared and shot a glowing ball into the sky setting up Sunny day and started using Dragon Dance.

Aerodactyl saw this and used Supersonic but Aoki protected Charizard's mind with Dark aura making him immune to that attack.

Seeing that didn't work Aerodactyl used Dragon Pulse at Charizard.

"Charizard return the favor, use Dragon Pulse too !!"

Facing the terrifying dragon pulse, Charizard who had completed one round of dragon dance used his version of Dragon pulse that was twice as strong as the one thrown at him creating a large explosion.

Booom !! Boom!

At that moment the entire sky was filled with purple dragon-type energy and red flames of explosion.

This explosion released a wave of shock wave that cleared up the Sandstrom that was set up by Aerodactyl.

Boom!

Another explosion occurred as the Aerodactyl fell to the ground after being hit by a Sunny day boosted Flare Blitz from Charizard while already being damaged by Dragon Dance-boosted Dragon Pulse.

Aerodactyl moved his body maintaining distance from Charizard and started using Roost to heal himself.

During this Aerodactyl could not fly which made some things easier.

"Don't give him a chance to recover, go near him and use Mega kick "

Swish!

Charizard flapped his wings with full force quickly catching up to Aerodactyl with a mega kick but Aerodactyl dodged and used Stone edge again which Charizard blocked with Protect and blessed a flamethrower at Aerodactyl's face.

"Hold his tail and use slam"

Stunned by the close-range flamethrower Aerodactyl found himself getting pulled by Charizard but before he could resist he was pulled and slammed into the ground.

Every trainer watched the scene with shock.

'Oi oi! Did he really start his journey same time as us !! that's insane!!' Daisy watched in horror.

'No wonder he was not worried about anything, he had the power to solve everything from the start.

If his Charizard is this strong so his actions with Charmeleon made sense '.

A little far from her, Gary was horrified too.

This is when Gary remembered something he had heard from his grandfather.

'Aoki from Orange town, a boy with a Charizard and Golden Pidgeot will be your strongest opponent.

If possible maintain a healthy relationship with him, that boy is a champion-level candidate

No matter what happens don't get to his bad side'.

Not only that, Aoki was the person that cleared Saffron gym and Celadon gym with just one Pokemon.

It was known that Dragon Pokemons were the hardest to command so watching Charizard follow his every command flawlessly was another proof of Aoki's talent.

Gary had spent a lot of time in Professor Oak's lab and knew how hard it was to raise a Charmander. That is why he choose a Squirtle as his starter who was comparatively easier to raise.

Gary called back his Pokemon except for his Arcanine now that he knew he could not get that Aerodactyl.

'So the rumors were true after all '

Gary noticed how Ash was watching the fight with awe while his Charizard was doing the same but with frustration.

'Like father like son, both of them need some sense beaten into them'.

Gary was arrogant but knew his limits. The only reason why he was always rude to Ash was to make him work harder.

Moreover, Gary was an expert at pissing off his opponents with words that would make the opponent make mistakes that he could exploit.

Gary looked at Misty who was watching the battle.

'The 4th Sensational sister and the daughter of the previous Cerulean Gym leader.'

Gary was a smart trainer and did a lot of research about some strong trainers from his generation and one of them was Misty.

After some digging, he found that she too was a competitor in the upcoming tournament that he prepared so much for.

'Seems like I will be having a tough time'.

Seeing the fierce battle between two monsters all the trainers called back their Pokemon too as they reached the same conclusion as Gary.

Boom!

Another loud explosion resonated as Charizard used Dragon Rush to crush Aerodactyl's Hyper Beam and make Aerodactly almost faint mid-air.

"End it Charizard seismic toss"

Charizard grabbed Aerodactyl's tail and slammed him to the ground from above with his full power.

Boom!

Aerodactyl crashed to the ground forming another crater.

That final attack was the conclusion of the battle as Aerodactyl could not stand up after that.

Charizard released another terrifying roar announcing his victory.

Taking out an ultra ball from his bag Aoki threw it at Aerodactyl successfully catching it.

"Another monster added to my team" Aoki put away the Pokeball with a smile.

The trainers who witnessed the battle were still dazed and some could not believe their eyes.

A lot of them watched two elite Pokemon clash for the first time so their reaction was justified.

' 10 minutes...that's what it took him to defeat that Pokemon that took us so long to even make serious.

He already has an elite-level Pokemon which cannot be raised with just money and hard work alone.

If he can achieve that in such a short time then there is no doubt about his talent in Pokemon training' Gary analyzed Aoki's Charizard.

Spending time with a person who is the world's most famous professor has taught Gary to see things from a different perspective.

Alongside watching Charizard, Gary was watching Aoki too.

His body movement, his awareness, and his way of commanding that get the intended effect as if he knew the opponent's next move was astounding.

'Hah! I hate to say it but there is no way I am beating him if we ever fight.

His Charizard can alone almost take down my entire time and I haven't even his other Pokemon.

Whatever something like winning the Pokemon league or working for the league alliance was never my objective anyway.

As long as I become strong, that is what matters'

"He.. he just took the opportunity that we created.. to weaken that thing. There is no way he is that strong" someone muttered.

" Ye-yes if not for that girl interfering, one of us might have caught it first," said another pointing at Misty.

" Heh! Idiots.. can't even face reality….

Bunch of losers...

Let's go girls, our work here is done. " Gary said to the group of girls who traveled with him.

" Hai young master Gary!!! "

Some trainers got offended by Gary but his Arcanine made them shut up.
