Aoki vs Lance : Battle for the champion

Enthusiastic people worldwide were at the edge of their seats to witness Aoki's fight against the Kanto champion Lance.

Until now, Aoki has only used one Pokemon to destroy the elite four making him one of the strongest trainers.

People wished to see if the same could continue with the champion.

People wished to see which Pokemon Aoki used to face against Lance's team.

The wind slowly blew through the stadium making Lance'e cape danced with the wind.

Today was one of the hardest battles he would be fighting.

Although Aoki was more than a decade younger than Lance, the strength of Aoki's Pokemon surpassed logic.

People like Aoki are born to change the tides of the world.

"Ever since I saw your match in the Junior Cup a year ago, I wished to see how far you can go.

Can't believe a year later I would be facing you here.

I am currently the strongest champion out of all regions.

If you defeat me, this title shall be yours!" Lance said taking out a Pokeball and sending out his first Pokemon, Gyarados.

"I started my journey of Kanto with Bellsprout so to celebrate this battle, I shall start with Victreebel," Aoki said releasing Victreebel.

Tress instantly started growing all over the filling as Victreebel completely disappeared from Gyarados's senses.

Gyarados opened his mouth and used Flamethrower to try to burn all the trees but on burning Gyarados realized that all these trees were toxic and released toxic air into the air making Gyarados poisoned.

Seeing that burning was insufficient, Lance commanded Gyarados to use Hyperbeam to decimate everything.

Although it managed to decimate the forest to the ground, it gave Victreebel enough time to complete all preparations.

Large vines immediately grew around Gyarados trapping him and injecting poison into his body. Gyarados's mouth was tightly sealed with think vines making him unable to use most of his attacks.

The ground cracked as Victreebel jumped into the air and used Solar Cannon, an advanced version of Solar Beam putting down Gyarados on one hit.

One minute and Gyarados was down.

Lance called back Gyarados and sent out Charizard.

Not just one Pokemon, Aoki was going to give everyone who accompanied him on his Kanto journey to participate in the battle against the Champion.

So, Aoki called back Victreebel and sent out Pidgeot.

His golden Pidgeot instantly made fans yell with excitement as photos started being clicked Pidegot.

Both of the Pokemon immediately took to the skies.

Charizard fired waves of flamethrower, Dragon breath, and Fireblast but Pidgeot's air cutter and wind sphere blasts destroyed every single attack of Charizard.

Seeing that long-range attacks were not working, Charizard engaged Pidegeot in close-range attacks like Focus Blast, Flare Blitz, Dragon Claw, Dragon Rush, etc. but Pidgot's mastery over Normal and wind-type energy shredded all of Charizard's attacks.

Wherever Charizard used flame attacks, Pidegot managed to trap the flames in her wind and used them back against Charizard.

Charizard and Pidegot fought all over the battlefield with attacks being thrown around in all directions.

Pidgeot was so used to fighting Aoki's peak champion-level Charizard that an elite-level Charizard felt like child's play to her.

The final clash was between Charizard's full-powered Outrage and Pidegot's Hyperbeam which decimated Charizard.

It was already revealed to the world about the royal gene Pokemon and to see one in action like Pidegot was something else.

Even the Pidegot tribe that lived around the Indigo Plateau sat on the stadium walls to watch the battle and paid their respect when the fight was over.

Lance called back his defeated Charizard and sent out an Aerodactyl.

Aoki called back Pidegot and sent out his Charizard which was larger and appeared to be stronger than that of Lance.

Charizard condensed lightning and dragon-type energy around his body and flew toward Aerodactyl with an insane speed while Aerodactyl responded with ancient power.

Aerodactyl felt like he had crashed into a mountain as he was almost thrown outside the battlefield.

While increasing his mastery over electric-type energy, Charizard found to way to make his movements even faster which was running lightning through his body.

At first, it was very painful but Charizard got used to the pain.

Aerodactyl flew into the air and tried to start a Sandstorm but Charizard instead of shutting it down, made the battlefield a furnace with heatwaves.

Although Aerodactyl had rock typing, he felt the heat melt his skin.

Aerodactyl had various rock-type attacks like stone edge, rock slide, rock tomb, etc but Charizard's flame attacks melt every attack before they could even reach Charizard.

A condensed focus blast hit Aerodactyl in the face almost making him unconscious. Taking this chance, Charizard grabbed Aerodactyl's tail and threw him toward the ground.

While using Dragon Rush mid-air sending him like a bullet to the ground unable to stand up anymore.

Charizard roared at his victory and destroyed the raging skin-melting sandstorm.

With this three Pokemon of Lance were down.

Next Lance sent out a Garchomp while Aoki sent out his Nidoking.

The clash of two physical attack specialist Pokemon generated countless shockwaves that every single person in the stadium could feel increasing their heartbeat.

The way Nidoking fought felt as if he was an Ice-type Pokemon.

Every single Dragon Rush, every single Dragon Claw, and Dragon Pulse was shut down by Nidoking's ice-type attacks.

Although Garchomps are a dangerous monster but at this moment, Nidoking felt more like a monster than Garchomp.

Finally, a Frost Rush which was an Ice version of Dragon Rush ended the battle sending Garchomp flying around the battlefield and crashing into the stadium walls.

After Garchomp, Altaria came to the battlefield while Aoki sent out Clefable.

Clefable pointed her hands toward Altaria and dragged the dragon towards herself.

Altraria tried using Dragon Pulse at Clefable but Clefable sent it back at Altaria with All mighty push.

Like a toy, Clefable played with Altaria using Gravity and finally destroyed her with Moonblast.

Lance's last Pokemon was his champion-level Dragonite, his starter and his strongest Pokemon.

Aoki called back Clefable and sent out Salamence.

It was a battle between two champion-level Pseudo legendary dragons.

Dragontite began with a combo of extreme speed and Dragon Rush while Salamence began with Ourtrage destroying Dragonite's attacks and damaging him.

Both of the dragons were insanely fast and started attacking each other using fast attacks which were a mix of ranged and close combat attacks.

Salamence was seemingly unharmed while Dragonite was accumulating injuries.

Dragonite used every kind of punch attack while Salamence manipulated Ghost and Psychic-type energies to fight against every attack.

The clash of the two dragons generated use energy fluctuation and shockwaves causing problems for the audience.

Even the walls and floors of the stadium started cracking.

The security squad with Psychic Pokemon along with the help of Sabrina and Alfred's champion level Alakazam created a psychic barrier around the battlefield to keep everything inside.

For most people, it was their first time watching two champion-level dragons clash.

The excitement that the battle provided was something else.

Salamence let out a mighty roar and shot a ball of dragon-type energy into the air which exploded into countless meteorites.

It was his strongest attack, Draco meteor.

Salamence controlled the flow of Dragon-type energy and sent every meteorite towards Dragnite making it impossible to dodge.

Dragonite started using Outrage to face the meteors.

Countless explosions occurred as Dragonite started to destroy the meteors but one fatal mistake of leaving Salamence alone.

Salamence while controlling the meteors hit Dragonite with Dragon Pulse to finally put down Dragonite.

The match was over...

Lance was out of Pokemon.

There was silence for a few seconds before every single people in the stadium started screening.

Kanto had given birth to its new Champion.

Aoki Gunhildr at the age of seventeen became the youngest champion in the history of the Pokemon league.

Aoki released all the six Pokemon he used to witness all the people cheering for him.

The journey was long and had a lot of twists and turns but it ultimately paid out.

All the experiences he had since the day he started led him to the place he was standing today.

Aoki couldn't describe how happy he felt standing in the middle of the stadium as people cheered his name as the champion of the Kanto region.

"Thank you, everyone..."Aoki slowly muttered.

Misty and Sabrina hugged each other and jumped with excitement while Aoki's parents had tears in their eyes.

"The boy who started with a Bellsprout and curiosity in his eyes did it…."Oak said remembering the first day when he met Aoki.

""This bastard actually did it !!!""Steven and Wallace said together as they watched Aoki being handed the Champion Trophy and a golden crown.

Cynthia had a thin smile as she watched the ceremony with her Grandmother Professor Carolina.

"Can't believe the boy I faced in the finals of Junior Cup will one day become the champion of the region " Jill said while watching with Alex.

"Yeah ….I never expected it too" Alex said clearly in shock.

"You created a monster teacher, " Asmodeus said to Chongyun.

"Nah! He was already a monster, I just made him more ferocious...

I knew my students will make me proud " Chongyun said with tears in his eyes.

Ash put down his cap on the table and looked at the poster of the Orange League on the wall.

"Let's leave Brock, next target Orange League "

Back in Orange town, a festival started as people danced on the roads to celebrate Aoki becoming the champion of the Kanto region.

On the bottommost floor of the Kanto league headquarters, Aoki followed Chairman Goodshow.

The entire room was dark except for a glowing platform.

"Welcome to the hall of fame Aoki.

This is where the records of all past champions of Kanto are kept.

Please put your Pokeballs in the platform one by one "

Aoki did what Goodshow asked as the holograms of his Pokemon along with their details started appearing on a screen.

Aoki saw pictures of Red, Blue, Lance, and even Professor Oak.

Finally, a new frame was created where Aoki's full team and his picture with the trophy and crown got formed into the frame.

WIth this, Aoki was now the official champion of Kanto region.
