Chapter no.1

"Help! Somebody, help me! "The young child shrieked as loudly as he could muster up the air in his lungs. "Pleeease!" He tore through the tall grass, rushing as fast as he could towards Pallet Town in an effort to save his life. Ash let out a cry as his foot sank to the ankle in a puddle of muck, causing him to topple forward and land hard on his hands and knees, peeling the skin off his palms in the process.

He sputtered, "Oh wonderful," before rolling onto his back and yanking his foot out of his sneaker. He had every intention of throwing away the shoe and getting back on his feet, but as Ash turned around to face forward once more, the golden grass in front of him began to stir, and he halted. Ash recoiled in fear as he was greeted by the icy stare of two violet eyes peering at him from the grass. As he grabbed hold of a stick made of wood that was lying in the grass, he yelled "Get back!" while his voice was shaking with fear. "Get back!"

The Rattata let out a hissing scream as it leaped from the grass and hurled itself towards Ash's neck with its mouth wide open and its fangs exposed in preparation to bite. Ash exclaimed, "Go away!" as he swung the stick into the air and hit the Rattata solidly on the side of the head, which caused it to fall to the ground. While the purple rodent, who appeared to be confused, shook itself to regain its senses, Ash rolled over and forced himself to his feet. Ash took off running, but he fell forward again as the Rattata lunged after him, closing the gap between them in an instant and sinking its chisel-sized incisors into Ash's calf, cutting through his jeans as if they were made of rice paper. Ash continued to run.

He shouted as he dropped to the ground, where he landed on his stomach and let go of his club. The Rattata hissed like a demon as it dug its teeth deeper into Ahs's left leg. It then shook its head as if it were attempting to rip the boy's muscle away from his bones. It is highly likely that this was not even remotely far from the truth. Ash wailed and kicked frantically with the other foot as well as the one attached to his leg, desperately trying to free himself from the small Pokémon. Even though his right foot made a solid contact with the creature's head and drove it off of him, the action also further enlarged the gaping wound that was already present in his leg.

As the Rattata jumped at him yet again, Ash rolled over onto his back in an attempt to find the stick that he could use to defend himself. However, he was only able to raise one arm in front of his throat. This time, the enormous fangs cut through Ash's forearm all the way through from top to bottom. The Pokémon clamped its jaws around Ash's arm and began jerking its head from side to side in the same manner that it had done to his leg. This resulted in Ash's arm being ripped open, and both the Pokémon and the human were covered in drops of blood.

As it had finished encircling the Rattata, the wild rodent appeared to be no more than a plaything, even to Ash, who had seen the enormous grey hand emerge from the grass. When the animal's huge fingers tightened around the Pokémon with crushing force, Ash was immediately freed from the grip of the Pokémon. Its eyes ballooned as the hand, which Ash saw was connected to another Pokémon emerging from the grass, slammed into a fist, crushing the rodent with a sloshing crunch as bones snapped and internal organs burst like rotten fruit. Ash saw that the hand was connected to another Pokémon.

As it emerged from the grass and hurled the malformed remnants of the dead Rattata aside, the big Pokémon with four arms let out a low growl and yelled "Chaaamp." It had white eyes that were filled with doubt as it peered down at him.

The young boy yelled out in an unreasonable fit of fright, "Keep back!" despite the fact that he recognised the Pokémon in question as his grandfather's Machamp. "Get away!"

A man's voice could be heard coming from the grass, calling out "Ash!" Where exactly are you, Ash!?

"Grandpa!" Ash let out a scream as he finally became aware of the full magnitude of the anguish that was shooting through both of his arms and legs. "Grandpa! Help me!"

As a tall man with greying brown hair and a white lab coat came bursting through the tall grass, the Machamp stepped aside, maintaining a heightened state of vigilance and vigilantly monitoring the surrounding tall grass for any potential danger. The Machamp was followed quickly by two other large Pokémon, one on either side of him. Both of these Pokémon were extremely cautious of their surroundings and kept a close eye on the elderly man.

Professor Oak yelled, "Merciful gods, Ash, what happened to you?" as he pulled his backpack around and set it down on the ground. Ash was still sobbing and clutching at his wounds at the time. "Merciful gods" The professor said, "Never mind," as he pulled bandages, gauze, and sterile wipes out of his pack. "It doesn't matter." "Set up a perimeter around us, you three," he looked to the Pokémon that were under his authority, "please." I don't want there to be any unexpected events."

The Machamp, the green and lumbering Venasaur, and the golden-furred Kadabra all acknowledged him with varying degrees of understanding and took up positions around Professor Oak as he set himself to sterilising Ash's deep gashes, punctures, and scratches and stopping the bleeding as best he could. Ash's injuries included deep gashes, punctures, and scratches. The Venasaur took a few rumbling steps forward until it reached the location where the mangled Rattata was lying, and then it used its thick nose to throw the carcass around for a while. As the Venasaur pinned one half of the Rattata under one of its hefty feet and bit off the upper piece of the rodent, the Kadabra shook its head in disgust.

Oak paid little heed to Venasaur's disruptive behaviour and instead focused all of his attention on Ash. Oak cautioned Ash not to wander off into the wilderness by himself ever again as he finished tying off the bandages that were quickly turning a brighter shade of scarlet around his arm. It is imperative that we get you back to town so that I may examine you in the medical facility there.

Ash mumbled, "I'm sorry, grandpa," through sniffles as Oak picked him up and gently swung him onto his back. "I love you, grandpa." "Please accept my sincere apologies."

Oak hurried over to Venasaur and clambered onto the back of the creature. "Don't worry about it," Oak said as he did so. He sat down and propped himself up against the enormous flowering plant that was growing out of the Pokémon's back. He then set Ash in front of him and held the young boy firmly in his grip. Oak spoke to the three Pokémon escorts in a loud voice while maintaining a very nice demeanour and said, "Let's get back to town as quickly as possible." "I would appreciate it if you could attempt to be as observant as you possibly can."

The three Pokémon recognised the Professor and immediately started moving in a southerly direction. The Venasaur was located in the centre of the green giant, while the Kadabra and Machamp were walking along its flanks. "Grandpa?" Once some time had passed and he'd finally managed to stop sneezing and hiccuping, Ash remarked on the situation.

Oak gave an acknowledgement of "Hmm?" He inquired in a friendly manner, "What is it?"

"Are you going to show me how to become as powerful as you are? You have no fear of anything, and even the most powerful Pokémon will obey you because of this "He shifted his gaze quickly back and forth between the Machamp and the Kadabra. "I wish I could be just like you..."

Oak gave himself a very slight smile in private. "Sure," he answered after a little gap in the conversation. "I believe it or not, but your sixth birthday is just around the corner, isn't it?"

Ash nodded and grinned. The antiseptics that Oak had applied to the gauze and bandages had a numbing effect, which meant that the pain that he was experiencing in his limbs had started to decrease. "Two days," he said. "And for my birthday, I'd like it if you could teach me all there is to know about the world," I told him.

The Professor remarked that this was an ambitious goal to achieve. "Well, I'll look into it and see what I can do." Oak let out a sigh before settling down against Venasaur's plant. He kept one arm around his grandson and the other hand ready to grab one of the pokeballs that were magnetically held to his belt at any moment.

According to the Professor's line of thinking, the most important thing for you to know is something that you discovered very recently.

The world is not a kind or forgiving place, and if you want to have a chance of surviving it, you need to know what you're doing... especially considering that Pallet Town is so far away from the safety of a Gym...
