Chapter 7

In the kitchen, a boy could be seen with a chief who seemed to be a bit impressed even though the kid was only making the most basic to dishes.

Chef Pov

There is little boy in my kitchen, He seemed to have begged his mother to let him cook. Usually we don't allow this but since he is the son of one of the elite four, we made exceptions. At first he seemed to make the bagel and simply added the seasoning with being told anything. The boy was quite happy with the bagel and so I checked on it quite surprised to find the bagel had been perfectly seasoned. He proceeds to fill the pot with water and adds salt then leaves it off for 4 minutes. He proceeds to put the macaroni in for about 8 mins and then he drain the macaroni in the drainer and transfers it over to the pan with chedder cheese and milk. He then stirred the macaroni until the cheese melted.... The boy finished with his dish, just kept staring at the dish and he wasn't satisfied. So I tapped on him and asked him if I could eat some and after that I took a fork and took a bite, the pasta was almost an exact copy of the restaurant'a pasta. And so I looked at the boy who seemed to look back at me.

' How did this kid manage to make the pasta taste just like the restaurant's pasta?' " So did you learn how to make the pasta from your mother?"

" No" Aster didn't want to lie in case the chef asked his mom

" So how did you make this pasta then?"

" I can't explain it." Aster

" So can you like just know how to make a food after tasting it or something?..."

POV change

Aster was getting bored with this conversation but he didn't want to leave as it would be rude. But he then thought that he was a kid and that kids are well unapologetic and impolite assholes (AN: I am just joking but like some kids are an real pain sometimes though). So I quickly scurried off to my mom and Agatha who was with my mom. When I walked up to them Agatha asked me

" So how was trying to cook for the first time? I hope the Chef helped you learn how to cook." Agatha

" It was okay." Aster

" Wait why are you upset? Did the chef say something?" Agatha

" No it's not that" Aster walked off to his room to take care of the Eevee in his room. Eevee seemed to be more comfortable with Aster, it was something about Aster's aura.

I tried recreating another dish the restaurant's pasta but it seemed my skill wasn't good enough. As I didn't get a ding even though, the pasta tasted basically the same and so I was kinda salty. I also checked the level of the pasta using Examine

And soon I felt a tap, it was the chef he said

" Hey can I try some." The chef asked with intrigue.

" Yeah" I told him with a bit of surprise as I had forgotten about him.

*10 mins later* the man kept on talking about how I made the pasta the way, I did. So I slowly walked away from him and went to my mom.

AN: I don't know why I wanted to write about this chef thing but yeah. Well I will like to say that now the journey will officially begin with the next chapter starting 7 years from now.
