Introductions

"oh, this is dust, the one I told you about".

Said ash, motioning to dust, but that immediately backfired.

"oh, you mean "the bastard that left early and broke our agreement?", That's a peculiar description".

Said misty with a hand on her chin, hiding the smirk behind her hand. Dust just looked at ash with a smile and ash was scratching his head.

"... hehehe, I-I never said that, Misty, where did you hear that?".

Ash quickly tried to defuse the situation. Dust didn't smile so innocently, and it was never directed at a person, so it was terrifying.

"I'm Nessa, good to meet you dust".

The girl, now named Nessa, said, introducing herself after her companion's slight blunder.

"And my name is Misty".

Dust raised a hand in the air, giving a two-fingered salute, and flicked them outward.

"Yo-".

"Mister Dust, your Pokemon are healed".

Excusing himself, he quickly went over to Nurse joy, to grab his six pokeballs.

"You already have a full team?".

Asked ash, Coming up behind him and looking at the pokeballs with interest.

"Yeah, what about you?"

Dust asked, securing the pokeballs of Nidorino, Gardevoir, Shinx, and Charmander on his belt. Making the pokeballs bigger, he released Greninja and Riolu to the world.

"Ninja-Greninja".

Greninja stretched his arms out, enjoying the feeling as Riolu just climbed on Dust's shoulders.

"Rio-Lu".

The little guy looked worried, they did go at it pretty hard.

"Im fine Anubis, you don't hit that hard... yet".

The smirk on his lips was taunting and that was proven when Riolu huffed and looked away.

"You have a Greninja?".

Asks misty, looking at the Pokemon with interest along with Nessa. Dust just nodded as he took Riolu off his shoulders.

"His name is Tobirama, Tobi for short".

Dust kindly informed, watching as Nessa and Misty looked His strongest Pokemon over.

"Impressive".

Muttered Nessa who was looking over Greninja.

"So are you going to challenge the gym?".

Ash questioned but was surprised when he shook his head.

Greninja walked over to him and placed a leg in his shadow. To everyone's surprise, he sunk straight in.

"The gym leaders are more focused on performances than on fighting, so I wanted to skip this place and take some other gym badge from another Region, but looks like I don't need to anymore".

Dust answers, looking at misty who started sweating.

"Misty waterflower, as one of the gym leaders of the water type gyms, I challenge you to a Pokemon battle".

Everyone was quiet... until Nessa spoke up.

"That was very cliche".

Dust only sighed, he had to agree, it was cheesy.

"Hey, guys! Sorry there was a long line in the mark- oh, hey Dust".

Brock walked into the Pokemon center, holding a few bags, and walked over to the group.

"Hey Brock, how's your Onix?".

"Shut up".

Dust chuckled, he wouldn't let him live that down. The guy bragged about Riolu not being enough to beat his rock type.

"So, can we head over to the gym and do a quick battle?".

Misty sighed, not wanting to meet her sisters but she couldn't just decline a gym battle.

"Wait you're a Gym leader?!".

"Odin, Attack".

Nidorino jumped from platform to platform, getting close to Misty's Starme. Channeling energy to his horn, he jumped off the final platform right into Starme.

The star Pokemon quickly got away by diving into the water. Dust only sighed at this, Nidorino couldn't do anything In the water. He would have to send Greninja or Shinx out And that would just be plain unfair.

"What are you doing?! Send out your Greninja so that he can fight Starme in the water!".

Yelled out ash from the stands, Swinging his hands to emphasize the point.

(It will have to surface when misty gives the order to attack).

Dust narrowed his eyes at the water, trying to feel out where the star Pokemon would emerge.

"Starme, Bubble beam!".

Obeying the order, Starme burst out and sent a stream of bubbles towards Nidorino.

"Now".

With a burst of speed, Nidorino was out of Starme's line of fire and charging a horn attack. Slamming it in the water Pokemon, Nidorino uses the recoil to land on the platform.

"Nido!".

Starme fell inside the water from the hit, and Dust suspected that the damage wasn't something it could shake off easily.

"Starme, Use swift!".

Dust kept a close eye on the water and noticed something emerging from behind Nidorino.

"Double kick, behind you".

Two kicks were sent behind Nidorino and Starme was kicked out of the water before it managed to do the move.

Nidorino didn't back off and followed. Channeling the energy to his horn yet again, he slammed it into Starmes midsection, knocking the Pokemon out.

"Come back Starme. You did great".

Dust deadpanned. No, that Star didn't even manage to land a hit, But it's the effort that's counted in the end.

"Odin, come back. You fought well".

Knowing what was coming next, he recalled Nidorino and waited for Misty to send out her next Pokemon.

"Come on out, Gyarados"

With a giant roar, a blue sea serpent dripped in the water. With there crown-like spikes on its head, it looked down with an angry expression.

"...Go, Tobirama".

Greninja Emerged from Dust's shadow silently. Looking at the giant serpent in front of his trainer The frog Pokemon dashed inside the arena, crouching down on a platform.

"Now Gyarados, Use Ice fang!".

Gathering energy in its fangs, Gyarados lunged towards Greninja.

Flexing his leg muscles, Greninja jumps over the attack, sending water shuriken towards his opponent.

Due to his opponent having a giant body, Greninja would have to try hard to miss. The shuriken landed on the Serpent's back and judging from its roars, it hurt a lot.

(...Well, fighting a Gyarados isn't as hard as I thought it would be).

Dust watched as Greninja used Double team and sent more water shuriken towards Gyarados.

"Gyrados, use Aqua Tail!".

Greninja watched his opponent's tail get covered in water and swing towards him. In response, He raised a Protective Barrier that Dust called "Protect". Honestly, Humans and their need to label basic moves to make them sound dramatic.

"... finish it".

Channeling flying type energy into his hands, Greninja Quickly delivered a strong downward kick to The serpent's head. Twisting his body, Greninja spun and landed another kick on Its head.

The Gyarados was knocked out.
