CHAPTER 7 – TEAM ROCKET STRIKES AGAIN (Fixed)

In the previous chapter we saw how Nancy, won her first gym medal after a hard battle against Brock's Onyx where she learned to devise her own fighting style instead of copying others and after a small visit to the museum, they set off towards their next destination, the MT. Moon.

Not even an hour had passed since we started our new path, the new Route was very beautiful full of trees and vegetation, numerous Pokémon could be seen, it was a beautiful landscape and that anyone would pay to see.

The only thing is that we could not see anyone, which was strange, has not passed any trainer here or is it that they are very advanced? Either way, there are many months left until the start of the League, do not hurry.

"Do you see any Nidoran around here?" – Nancy suddenly asked.

"No, not really, I only saw some Oddish, Pidgey, Pidove, Starly among others" – I denied.

"How strange, according to the Rotom Dex this is their natural habitat and yet we haven't seen any yet," Nancy sighed.

This area was not only full of Pokémon from Kanto, there are also Pokémon from other regions, but mainly inhabited by Pokémon for beginners, you know, those that appear in the first routes, nothing to highlight.

Since we couldn't do anything about Nidoran's rare lack in the area, we continued on our way while Nancy looked around constantly for some straggling Nidoran or something like that.

"Look, there's a Ralts there, why don't you catch it? It could be a good addition for your team" – I said while pointing to a little Ralts who ate some aranja berries from the ground.

"No, I already decided it would be Nidoran and that will be!" – Nancy denied.

But the scream seemed to alert little Ralts who simply teleported.

"Wow, you made him run away" – I said with some sorrow.

After this, I kept suggesting that I catch some of the Pokémon present in the area, but it didn't work, at least until we finally got to see a female Nidoran.

"A Nidoran, yes, finally!" – Nancy said preparing her Pokéball.

But I stopped her when I saw something unusual.

"What's wrong, why do you stop me?" – Nancy asked somewhat angrily.

"Look closely, something is wrong with that Nidoran," I said as I pointed.

Nancy looked intently at the Nidoran and saw that it had an injured leg and could not stand up.

"He's got a wounded paw!" – Nancy exclaimed.

Little Nidoran heard it and tried to run away, but fell to the ground because he could not support his paw.

Without thinking twice Nancy came to his rescue, but the Nidoran looked at him suspiciously and angrily, as if warning her not to approach, but Nancy ignored him and took out a Potion from her backpack.

"Don't worry, look, this is a Potion and it will help your paw heal, we just want to help you, yes?" – Nancy said with a sweet smile.

The Nidoran was still suspicious, but still let Nancy heal his wound, the effect was almost instantaneous, and the Potion healed the wound on his paw as if it had never been there in the first place.

It's amazing how good the Potion is, I wonder what it will have to heal wounds like that instantly.

After seeing that he was cured and able to move his paw, the Female Nidoran just ran out.

"Weren't you going to catch her? It was a good opportunity" – I said somewhat surprised.

"I didn't even have time!" – Nancy replied.

I wanted to say something more about it, but at that moment, the Nidoran came back and looked at us.

"Ni!" - exclaimed the Nidoran as he shook his head.

"It seems that he wants us to follow him, Pikachu, can you confirm it?" – I said looking at Pikachu who was on my shoulder.

"Pi!" – Pikachu nodded.

"Let's go!" - said Nancy.

The Nidoran started walking followed by me and Nancy, at first it seemed to follow the path marked by the Rotom Dex, but suddenly it got into one of the nooks and crannies, that is, in a wooded area, there were quite a few trees and numerous Pokémon, but that did not prevent us from following the Nidoran.

When we arrived, the sight we saw surprised us, there, in the middle of nowhere was a huge vacuum cleaner that was absorbing the surrounding Pokémon, Bidoofs, Odish, Taillow, Jigglypuff, Lillipup, among others.

"What's going on here?" – Nancy asked extremely surprised.

"No, rather, what the hell is a giant vacuum cleaner doing here?" – I said just as surprised.

"Oops, wow, the Nidoran who escaped has come back and brought us several gifts with him, who was going to say it" – said a voice suddenly.

"He put it on a platter" – said another voice.

"Who are you?" – I asked seriously.

"What who are we?" – said the voice.

"We'll tell you," said the other voice.

Jessie: Prepare for trouble...

"That's right, brats, it's us," James said.

"And since you're here, why don't you hand over your Pokémon to us peacefully?" – Jessie said with a smile.

"You believed it, come out Snivy!" said Nancy pulling Snivy out of her Pokéball.

"Pikachu, it's time to fight," I said as Pikachu climbed off my shoulder.

"Hahaha, it won't do you any good to fight those Pokémon against us," James said with a

"Hahaha, let us show you why Team Rocket is feared all over Kanto" – Jessie said arrogantly.

And they both pulled out a black Pokéball with a red "R" in the center.

"Say hello to our boss's gift, go ahead Electabuzz!" – said James.

"Come out Magmar!" said Jessie.

And both Pokémon came out of the Pokéball in black.

Fuck, literally a fire-type Pokémon to counter Snivy and an electric one for Phione and Pikachu can't do much either.

"We won't be intimidated just for being a fire-type Pokémon, Snivy, Leaf Tornado!" – Nancy ordered.

A huge leaf cyclone shot out towards Magmar and hit him squarely, but Magmar didn't flinch, he came out completely unscathed.

"Quick Attack to Magmar!"

"Pi!" – said Pikachu, but before it could hit...

"Electabuzz protects Magmar!"

Electabuzz listened and took the damage from Pikachu, causing him not to get scratched by it.

"Shit, this will be complicated," I said with a frown.

"We will not give up, Vine Whip!" – ordered Nancy.

"Don't leave her, use Flamethrower!" – Jessie ordered.

A huge Flamethrower hit Snivy who could not dodge in time and received it fully, causing her to almost fall weakened, we are in trouble.

"Snivy!" said Nancy alarmed.

Then he looked at all the caged Pokémon and lowered his head.

"If only I wasn't so weak..." Nancy said sadly.

"Fuck it, you won't hurt my Nancy, Phione, it's time for you to get out!" – I said angrily.

Nancy looked at me in surprise, but before I could even throw my Pokéball, the Nidoran that brought us here, he stood in front of Nancy in a battle pose.

"Ni!" - said the Nidoran turning his head towards Nancy.

Nancy raised her head and saw Nidoran's determination in his eyes.

"Okay, let's fight!" - Nancy said cheerfully.

He then returned Snivy to his Pokéball, but not without thanking him.

"Do you think a simple Nidoran can with us? Magmar, finish off that weakling, Flamethrower," Jessie said.

"Finish them off Electabuzz, Thunder Punch" – James ordered.

"I won't leave you, Pikachu, Quick Attack!" – I said.

Pikachu shot out towards Electabuzz.

"Nancy, I trust you, finish that Magmar" – I said with a smile.

Nancy looked at me and smiled.

"Well, Nidoran, dodge the Flamethrower and get closer to Magmar" – Nancy ordered.

Nidoran nimbly dodged Magmar's Flamethrower and got as close to Magmar as possible.

"What?" said Jessie, confused at Nidoran dodging her attack.

"Now Nidoran, Slap Mud!" – Nancy said.

A small pile of mud shot out towards Magmar and, as it was so close, it hit squarely causing Magmar to recoil in pain.

"It's just a damn Nidoran, Flamethrower again!" – ordered Jessie.

But he threw the Flamethrower in another direction.

"Where are you aiming?" – Jessie said angrily.

"That's the effect of the Mud-Slap, Nidoran, end it once and for all, Mud-Slap!" – I ordered again.

Like the previous time, Nidoran threw a small amount of mud that Magmar could not dodge and was shot towards Jessie at the same time as Electabuzz at James, causing a small explosion and causing them to fly away.

Jessie, James and Meowth: Team Rocket has been defeated again!

"Uff, this time we almost didn't count it," Ash said.

Then I looked at Nidoran.

"Nidoran, break that vacuum cleaner with Double Kick" – I said.

Nidoran nodded and immediately broke the vacuum cleaner, releasing all the Pokémon that came out in terror in all directions.

"Well, that's it, thank you very much Nidoran, but it's time for us to leave now" – I said sighing from exhaustion.

"I'm afraid so, it's getting dark and we have a long time to get there yet," - Ash nodded.

But surprisingly, Nidoran came to me and rubbed his head against my leg.

"Do you want to come with me?" – I asked in surprise.

"Ni!" - nodded Nidoran.

"He seems to like you," Ash smiled.

"Yes, then, welcome to the group!" – I said pulling out my Pokéball and dropping it.

Nidoran jumped up and gave a gentle blow against the Pokéball and that's how I got my second Pokémon.

Then, I turned to Ash.

Nancy looked at me seriously.

"Do you want to tell me something?" – I asked curiously.

"Is what you said before true?" - asked Nancy embarrassedly.

Fuck, shit remembers, I said it in the heat of the moment, but it escaped me, but I won't be a coward.

"Yes, I like you Nancy" – I nodded boldly.

My heart was beating at 100 an hour, never, in my two lives was I as nervous as I was now.

Nancy looked at me and with a blush said.

"I like you too, I know you can say I'm easy, I know I spent very little time with you, but during this short time we were together, I fell in love with you," - Nancy said blushing up to her neck.

Without holding back, I hugged her tightly.

"I would never think of you that you are easy, besides I also felt a crush when I saw you, it's just that I didn't want to ruin our relationship, if you had rejected me... I don't know what I would have done!" – I said nervously.

"You don't have to think about that anymore, I love you Ash," - Nancy said tenderly.

"I love you too, Nancy," - I said.

And we both looked at each other and little by little our lips were approaching until they touched, so it was our first kiss, but only the first of many that we would have in the future.
