CHAPTER 50 – POKÉMON THE MOVIE: HEROES LATIOS AND LATIAS (FIRST PART)

Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokémon, a world inhabited by creatures known as Pokémon, a wonderful creature with amazing powers, some of them live in the sky, some live on Earth, some in the sea, on the seabed and some even in the depths of a volcano.

But that's not all, in this world, people have Pokémon as companions, friends, family, others use them for unethical purposes, but most use them to fight, those are the so-called Pokémon trainers, people who are dedicated to training Pokémon and fighting alongside them with the aim of becoming the best, among them we highlight one in particular, Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, who along with his partner and best friend, Pikachu and along with his girlfriends, Nancy, Verity, who are also trainers and Koharu, travel throughout the region with the aim of becoming the best trainers in the whole world.

It had been three days since we won the battle against Koga and it was currently night, I was in the Pokémon Center with the girls, each doing their things while I was with the Rotom-Dex. I was watching a stream, that's right, watching a streamer known with E-Nigma, many will know her for being one of the gym leaders of the Paldea Region and a well-known Streamer in this world.

Hearing who I was, Koharu and Verity stopped doing their things and stood by my side.

"What will you want at this hour, don't you see that it's late?" – asked Koharu with his eyebrow raised.

"Let's see what he wants" – I said picking up the phone.

"Good evening everyone" – said the professor.

"Good evening Professor, is something wrong?" – I asked.

"Yes, it is something very urgent, that's why I call you at this time" – he nodded.

Seeing their nervousness, I was worried and the girls seemed to have a serious countenance.

"Calm down and explain to us" – I said trying to calm him down.

"Do you remember what I told you about the sighting of Latios and Latias in Alto Mare?" – asked the professor.

"Yes, clearly, was there movement from Team Rocket?" – Nancy asked.

"Yes and the worst of all is that it was two days ago, they dodged my informants, you must go tomorrow, without fail, we do not know what they have been able to do these two days!" – he nodded nervously.

"Okay, tomorrow we will set off early in the morning, can you tell us what transports to take to get there?" – I asked.

"Yes, of course, you will see..." – the professor began to explain.

Three people had introduced a kind of microphone into our heroes' room and were listening to the conversation.

"Have you heard everything?" - asked Jessie.

"A Latios and a Latias, can you imagine that we catch them and bring them to the boss? I can't imagine what kind of reward it would give us" - Meowth said.

"Me too, but what I'm interested in knowing is who the boss sent and why he didn't send us on that mission," Jessie said.

"Maybe he knew we were busy with this mission and didn't want to bother us" - James said.

"Maybe you're right, I just hope he didn't send those stupid Cassidy and Butch, I hate them" - Jessie said.

"The boss doesn't trust those stupid guys enough to send them on such an important mission" - Meowth said.

"Meowth is right, plus we'll find out who they are when we're there," James nodded.

"Well, let's listen to the route to get there, did you bring the costumes?" – Jessie asked.

"Yes and with these costumes we will be unrecognizable do not worry" – nodded James.

After that next talking for a while about what their boss would give them if they captured both legendary and all that while listening to the route that our heroes would follow to reach Alto Mare.

With Ash the next morning.

We had gotten up early in the morning and half asleep we took a taxi to Saffron City, the funny thing is that the taxi drivers were two people whose face sounded to me, but I could not identify them, what if it is Team Rocket?, why was Team Rocket going to take us by taxi to an airport? It doesn't make sense, most likely I saw them somewhere else.

"Excuse me, do I know you from anything? It's that their faces sound to me" – I asked curiously.

"No, he must have been confused with other people" – the driver denied.

"What I don't understand is why there are two taxi drivers in the same taxi, shouldn't only one have come?" – Nancy asked curiously.

"Excuse me for that, but my friend broke down the taxi and I picked him up on his way out, I hope you don't mind" - the driver said.

I see, I guess it makes sense.

What Ash didn't know is that this time Team Rocket had prepared well, and their costumes and acting were so good this time that even he couldn't recognize them and just believed their words blindly.

In a few hours we arrived at the airport and after paying the taxi, we went directly to the plane that left in an hour or so.

Meanwhile with Team Rocket.

"See? I told you these costumes were the best" - James said, opening the trunk.

Out of the trunk came Meowth who had been silent all the way to prevent Ash and the girls from suspecting anything.

"I must say James that this time the costumes were wonderfull, even the brats did not suspect anything and even your performance was 10" – nodded Jessie.

"Jessie is right, since when do you act so well?" - asked Meowth.

"I went to performance class when I was little, it's a long story" - James replied.

"Who would say, anyway, let's hurry up that there are only 30 minutes left for the plane to leave, we have to change our costumes" - said Jessie.

"Here you go... your new costumes," James said, pulling new clothes from a suitcase in the trunk.

"Let's hurry up and remember to sit as far away from the brats as possible, although the costumes are good, we can't run the risk of being discovered," Meowth added.

And after dressing up again, they quickly headed towards the same plane as our heroes, who did not suspect at all that Team Rocket followed them here.

The trip was very choppy, not only did we have to be 2 hours on a plane, but we also had to take two buses to get to Alto Mare, I will not bore you with boring details, the only good thing about the trip is that all the girls could sit next to me, so they were all in a good mood.

By the way, during the whole trip either by plane or bus I felt that we were being watched, but whenever I looked I could only see normal people, each minding their own business.

"Stop nonsense, no one is watching us, it must be that you are tired, lie down for a while, look Nancy and Verity are already asleep" – Koharu said when I told him.

I guess he's right, we got up very early, most likely tiredness has made me imagine things that don't happen.

Then he saw that we were all at our posts and smiled.

"¡3... 2... 1... NOW!" – he shouted.

And immediately all the people left at full speed, for my part I made the same strategy as in flying championship, the girls on the other hand opted for a more aggressive strategy.

Suddenly, not long after I felt a huge pull on the rope, it seems to me that here is Latias, just like in the original film, I usually don't like to follow in the same footsteps as Ash, but this occasion deserves it, at least for the moment.
