CHAPTER 40 – NEW FRIENDS AND THE GOLDEN MAGIKARP (Fixed)

In the previous chapter we see how our heroes help a little Cyndaquil to heal his wound, it turns out that he and his friends were in danger because a Kingambit with Bisharp and Pawniard have been fighting against a Scizor and some Scyther for the territory, thus expelling many of the Pokémon that originally lived in peace in the area, but our heroes decide to help them expel them so that the Pokémon there could regain their peace.

With Nancy at the same time as the battle of Ash and Koharu.

Apparently both the Kingambit and his henchmen as well as the Scizor and his had been fighting to dominate this territory, which disturbed the peace of these Pokémon who lived without any concern in the place, so we helped them, to be able to recover the peace that they initially deserve.

"Shaymin, I'll choose you!" – I said throwing Shaymin's Pokéball.

"Crocalor, it's your turn! - Verity said.

We both took out our Pokémon and while I was giving the Gracídea to my Shaymin, the Chikorita and the Torchic also stood by our side, apparently they also wanted to defend their home.

"Scizor!" - said the Scizor with a menacing look.

"Don't you see that your fight is affecting the Pokémon who lived here peacefully? You better leave for good, we don't want to hurt you," I said without fear.

"Scizor!" - said the Scizor not caring what I said.

And then, about 4 Scyther shot out towards us.

"With what we have, Shaymin , Air Slash, Torchic, use Flamethrower!" – I ordered.

I assumed that Torchic wanted me to help him, so I ordered him and it seems that he was right because he listened to me.

"Crocalor, use Incinerate, Chikorita, use Sunny Day and then use Solar Beam!" – ordered Verity.

Apparently she thought the same as me and obviously Chikorita heeded the order.

The Scyther also attacked with all their arsenal, but Shaymin was much stronger than them and Torchic did a very good job keeping them at bay too, on Verity's part there was nothing to say because they had already defeated all the Scyther successfully, the combination of Sunny Day and Solar Beam in addition to a fire type attack was very powerful, I have to be careful if I ever fight her.

The Scizor looked at us furiously and seemed to want to fight us at any time, but then he seemed to notice how they lost almost all of his companions and besides, he was surrounded by 4 Pokémon, so he obviously hesitated.

"You'd better leave and not come back, we don't want to hurt you, but if you don't leave and leave the Pokémon that already lived here alone... we will have no choice!" – I said seriously.

Seeing how they had lost, the Scizor and the Scyther fled quickly, then I turned to see how Ash's part had gone and it turns out that they also finished, there was no trace of the Kingambit or any of its evolutionary stages nearby.

In the end everything went perfectly, we drove away without any problem the "invaders" so to call them and, finally, the surrounding Pokémon were able to return to what they normally did, in addition, those who saw us, thanked us in their own way, so everything went perfectly.

As for the day, it was almost in the afternoon, lunch time specifically, so we enjoyed a good meal and then it was time to leave, so we kept our Pokémon in their Pokéball with the exception of Pikachu and proceeded to leave but not before saying goodbye to our little friends.

"Well, it was a pleasure, but it's time for us to continue our journey, goodbye" – I said with a smile.

"Goodbye, it was a pleasure!" – said the girls.

But at that moment, the initial three made a circle, it seemed that they were talking about something or maybe not, but the fact is that afterwards, they approached us.

"Are you sure? We are trainers, our goal is to be the best, if you come, you will have to fight against other Pokémon" – I said.

Clearly you didn't have to be very smart to see that they wanted to come with us.

"Quil/Chikori/Chic!" – the three nodded.

"Then, welcome to the team" – the three of us said pulling out our Pokéballs.

Then, they themselves played the Pokéball and were captured, and, that's how I got a Cyndaquil, Nancy got a Torchic and Verity a Chikorita, a somewhat strange story, but with a good ending.

Anyway, some will say that having two fire type in my team is not efficient, obviously, both I will not use them in the same team, Cyndaquil will be with me until he finds another Pokémon to complete my team, but beware, that does not mean that I will not use it much less, it means that I will alternate between them, that is, sometimes I will take Charizard with me and other times I will take Cyndaquil, so that they do not feel displaced I mean.

Anyway, at the moment Cyndaquil was my sixth Pokémon and the fifth for both girls, so there was no problem.

"Well, let's go girls, to the next adventure!" – I said as I ran off.

"Let's go!" - they all said running after me.

I always wanted to say that, but in my previous world I didn't have a chance, but in this world, every day is an adventure, at least for me, I'm glad I was reborn here.

We continued running for a few minutes and then we started walking, after all we did not have much resistance, so we had to stop, yes, the desire did not take away from us and we continued walking while we chatted.

A few hours of walking passed and the forest seemed to have no end, in the Pokémon world there are many forests and very extensive, not that I dislike it, but I am overwhelmed by so much forest.

"Hey Ash, is there nowhere to stop to rest for a while? But no forest, something like a lake or something" - Nancy said suddenly.

But before I could look at my Rotom Dex for answers, Koharu spoke.

"Actually I already looked at it, there is a lake more than 20 minutes away from here, I was going to tell you now, but you got ahead of me" – Koharu nodded.

"Well, that's it, we'll make a stop to rest and have a snack," Verity smiled.

"It seems perfect to me, I'm tired too" - I nodded.

20 minutes or so passed and we arrived at the lake, to our surprise, the lake seemed to be a picnic place because there were numerous tables made of stone as well as some chairs, but the most curious thing is that there were two people sitting, along with some Pokémon next to them.

One of them noticed our presence and got up immediately.

"Wow, if it's you, what a pleasant surprise to find you here!" – said the person.

Actually, it was the Water-type Pokémon trainer we saw on New Moon Island, the one with the blue vest.

"It's you, the guy in the blue vest!" - exclaimed Nancy.

"Hahaha, it's true, in the meantime I forgot to give you my name, my name is Toby, the one who will become the best Water-type Pokémon trainer in the world!" – Toby introduced himself.

"And my name is Cindy, my pleasure" - said the other person who had approached me without me noticing.

It was about the girl who fought Mewtwo against her Blastoise.

"You are here too? What a coincidence that we are here" - said Verity.

"Actually yes and no, you see I travel with this guy over here," Cindy said, pointing to Toby.

"Exactly, after that incident we started to get to know each other better and now we travel together" – Toby nodded.

"I'm glad" - I said sincerely.

"But come on, let's sit down and chat for a while, we haven't thanked you for helping us with Mewtwo yet" - Cindy said.

"That's right, we wanted to thank you, but when we realized you were gone" - Toby nodded.

Then we sat down and took out our Pokémon except Mew, you know, to have fun with the other Pokémon for a while.

"As I said before, I thank you for your help with Mewtwo, you really saved us" – Cindy thanked us.

"A pleasure" – we all said.

"I thank you for that too, that Mewtwo could have killed us all right there if you didn't do anything" - Toby nodded.

Then Cindy looked at Koharu.

"By the way, who is she? I mean, the last time I saw you I wasn't there, I can't help but be curious" - Cindy asked.

"My name is Koharu, I am his girlfriend" – he introduced himself.

"Oh, what a beautiful bride, you're really lucky" . Cindy said.

"Wait a minute, I'm his girlfriend too, specifically the first one," Nancy said.

"I am the second, Koharu is the 4th, the 3rd is not here currently, she preferred to travel alone" – explained Verity.

I think they didn't need to know all that, but it still didn't mean to surprise them much.

"It's a weird relationship for sure, but I'm no one to get into other people's relationships, so I'll just say one thing, congratulations" - Cindy smiled.

"Golden Magikarp, what do you mean?" – I asked curiously.

"Since you don't know then you don't come from Fuchsia, you see, there has been a rumor that they have seen a golden Magikarp in this area and, since then, numerous people have come here with the intention of capturing it, without success obviously" – explained Toby.

"And that's why we came, he thinks he can catch a Pokémon that no one else could even see" - Cindy sighed.

"Hey, just because nobody got it doesn't mean I can't do it, besides, if there's a rumor it's because someone saw something" - Toby said.

"The thing is that we have been here 3 days and we have not seen anything, I already told you, if today we do not see anything, tomorrow we leave, I do not plan to be here for another minute" – said Cindy.

"I see" – I nodded.

"Hey, I have one thing coming to mind, as I'm seeing, you guys have Water-type Pokémon! Why don't you give me a hand with this? Maybe with more Pokémon we managed to find a clue" - Toby said.

"Mmm" – I said thoughtfully.

"Let's help them, anyway, we won't lose anything for help them" - Verity suddenly said.

"Yes, besides, the more the merrier" – Koharu nodded.

"Okay, then we'll help" - I nodded.

"Perfect let's do it now before it gets dark!" - said Toby, getting up.

Then we also got up and explained to our Pokémon the situation, obviously they helped delighted, that said our Water-type Pokémon were Phione on my part, Vaporeon on the part of Koharu, Quaxwell on the part of Nancy and Prinplup on the part of Verity, while, on the other hand, they had a Gyarados, another Vaporeon, a Cloyster, a Crawdaunt, a Simipour, a Drednaw and a Blastoise.

There were a total of 11 water-type Pokémon that dived with the intention of looking for the golden Magikarp that was rumored to be hiding in the area, now the question is, did it really exist? Well, we'll see.
