2 CHAPTER 2 – MY FIRST CAPTURE AND MY FIRST COMPANION (Fixed)

As said in the previous chapter, this is called the Pokémon world, where there are wonderful creatures, did you think it would repeat the same thing? Not really.

Now seriously, let's focus on our protagonist, Ash, who just got Pikachu, his first Pokémon and his best friend.

Ash and Pikachu had just left Palet Town for their first destination, Viridian City, though their true destination was Pewter City, birthplace of Kanto's first gym leader, Brock and one of Ash's future companions, at least in the original series.

"Well, Pikachu, our first destination will be Pewter City, there is our first target, Brock" – said Ash excitedly.

Pikachu looked at him curiously, as if waiting for him to follow.

"The bad thing is that he's rock type and I don't want to offend you, but it's difficult for him to get the medal with you alone," Ash said.

"Pika!" complained Pikachu.

"Ya, ya, don't worry, it's only in this gym, in the next one you will have all the prominence, I promise you" – smiled Ash.

"Pika" – Pikachu nodded.

After this, Ash and Pikachu continued on their way, for the same, Ash saw many interesting Pokémon and not only from Kanto, also from other regions, the problem is that they were mostly flying Pokémon and against Brock they would not do many.

Change to 1st person.

It had been a couple of hours since I went on a trip with Pikachu, but I must say that the Pokémon I saw were not very interesting, only Pidgeys, Rattata, Pidove, Starly, etc. It's not that they're bad, they just weren't useful to me at the moment and it's not that I plan to follow the events that happened in the anime as is, if it has to happen, it will happen, otherwise following the original story would be boring, I'll go my own way.

Ash and Pikachu continued walking until they found a small Pidove who was lying on the ground, he seemed to be badly injured so they both approached to see if they could help.

"Hey, are you okay?" asked Ash, approaching the Pidove.

But just as he was about to approach, the Pidove stood up and shouted causing dozens of Pidove to come out of god knows where.

"He set a trap for us!?" said Ash in surprise.

But the trap was not for Ash, but for Pikachu who saw them menacingly, mainly because the Pidove saw him as prey.

"Ha, Pikachu, they seem to love you, why don't we show them what you're made of?" – Ash said with a defiant smile.

"Pika!" – Pikachu said bravely putting himself into fight mode.

"Use Thunder Shock!" said Ash.

Pikachu listened and threw an impact that hit 3 Pidoves, but far from making them flee, they got more angry and soon appeared 10 more Pidoves.

"Well, you know what's coming next, don't you pikachu?" – said Ash taking a step back.

"Pika pi" – Pikachu nodded.

And without another word, Ash and Pikachu started running while a flock of Pidove chased them.

"Run Pikachu, run!" said Ash.

But instead of running, Pikachu climbed on Ash's shoulder.

"Don't fuck with me!" further complained Ash as he picked up his pace.

Back to 1st person.

Fuck, this is not like in the anime, I'm screwed, those Pidove set a trap for us, surely they wanted Pikachu to be their food or something, anyway, here I am, running for my life and that of my new partner.

"It's useless Pikachu, they're going to catch us!" exclaimed Ash in despair.

"Pika pi!" exclaimed Pikachu, pointing to a place.

Apparently we arrived at what appeared to be a river, the current flowing violently as numerous Pokémon swiming in there.

"I guess there's no other way, hold on tight to me!" – said Ash as he jumped.

Pikachu held tightly to Ash and both fell into the water, seeing them, the Pidove hesitated to follow them because the current was very fast and they did not think that Pikachu was worth so much effort, so they withdrew from the place.

With Ash again.

I don't know when but I fainted, the good thing is that when I woke up I was already out of the water with Pikachu by my side.

"What happened?" said Ash as he scratched his head.

But before I could remember, the melodious sound of a Pokémon echoed beside me.

"Phi!" – said the Pokémon.

When I turned my head I was pleasantly surprised because it was a Phione and not just any one, it was actually a shiny one, the question here is, What is a Phione doing in a river in Kanto? No idea, but I remember badly Phione is Manaphy's offspring, but unfortunately it cannot evolve, besides, now that I remember, he gave me a season for trying to use Phione in competitive, but obviously it did not work and in a couple of days I left it.

As I remember it has 480 base stats, which is high for the start but as the game progresses it becomes more unusable, but heck this is real life not the game, who doesn't say you can surpass those stats?

"Have you saved us?" – I asked with a smile.

"Phi!" – the Phione nodded his little head.

Ignoring the fact that such a small creature was able to drag us to shore, I kept talking.

"Thank you so much for saving us, I am Ash and this is my partner and best friend, Pikachu" – I said pointing to my Pikachu still asleep.

But when he was appointed he immediately woke up.

"Pi?" said a confused Pikachu looking around.

"I see you've woken up yet, are you okay?" – I said with a smile.

Pikachu nodded and saw little Phione.

"Oh, this is Phione and she saved us from drowning," I said as I stroked her little head.

"Phi!" said Phione, raising her little hand.

"Pi!" – Pikachu thanked.

"Well, I don't want to be rude, but we have to continue our journey, once again thank you very much, let's go Pikachu" – I said getting up.

But just as we were about to leave, little Phione grabbed my pants.

"Do you want anything?" – I asked confused.

"Phi!" said the Phione, pointing to Pikachu and then to me.

"Do you want to join us?" – I asked in surprise.

"¡Phi!" – asintió Phione.

"It's not that I don't want to, but my goal is to become the best Pokémon trainer, so naturally I'll have to fight trainers and I don't want you to fight but you want to," I said with a sigh.

"Phi" – said the Phione shaking her head.

"Surely you don't mind?" – I asked again.

"¡Phi!" – asintió Phione.

I didn't hesitate any longer and took one of my Pokéballs out of my belt and yes, they didn't get lost, and I put it on the Phione in front.

Without hesitation, the Phione touched the center of the Pokéball with her hand and got inside the Pokéball.

Just as I captured it there was a noise and my Rotom Dex came out of my pocket and yes, that one was not lost to me god knows why.

"PHIONE'S DATA HAS BEEN RECORDED IN THE POKÉDEX!" – said the Rotom Dex.

Without further ado, I looked at the Rotom Dex and went straight to the Phione data to see its description.

"Phione, Sea Angel Pokémon: lives in warm seas, inflates the swim bladder of the head to let itself be carried away by the waves in search of food! " – said the Rotom Dex.

Wait a minute, seas?

"I wonder, what does a sea Pokémon do in a river?" – I asked myself doubtfully.

"Pika pi" – Pikachu denied.

"Yes, we'd better not think about it and hurry to the Pokémon center, then I'll take you out, so wait a while," I said to Phione's Pokéball.

I don't know if you understand me, but I hope you do.

"Well, now let's go Pikachu" – I said as I walked.

But it seems that fate had something more reserved for me, because suddenly, someone came walking towards me.

"Stop there young man!, have you seen a Phione around here?, I've been chasing him for a while" – said the person.

Now that I look closely it was a woman, it seemed my age... holy god, it's Nancy, the protagonist of Pokémon Black and White 2! What is he supposed to do here in Kanto?

"This... Yes, I caught him, any problems?" – I said without thinking.

"Queeeeee? I was behind that Phione one a week, I demand that you return it to me!" – Nancy said while pouting with her cheeks.

"It's rude to demand something from someone without even showing up," I said calmly.

"You're right, mom also told me it's rude, so get ready, my name is Nancy, the future Champion and best trainer in the world!" – Nancy said with a proud air.

"Then you are the same as me, my name is Ash and I also aspire to be Champion and the best trainer in the world, and this is my partner and best friend, Pikachu" – I said with a defiant smile.

"Pika!" Pikachu nodded as he climbed onto my shoulder.

"Then we are rivals, I won't lose to you!" – Nancy said with a smile.

"Then see you, good luck Nancy" – I said starting to walk.

"Wait, you didn't give me Phione back, he was supposed to be my second partner!" – Nancy said touching me on the shoulder.

"Look, I'm sorry, but she herself wanted to come with me, I didn't force her, and now if my apologies" – I said starting to walk.

"Hmph, no, you don't get rid of me," Nancy said, starting to walk beside me.

"Why are you following me?" – I asked confused.

"I will follow you until you return me to Phione, plus my goal is to get the first medal in Viridian City," Nancy replied.

"I'm sorry to tell you that Viridian City is the last medal, the first is Pewter City" – I explained.

"Obviously I knew, I was just testing you!" – Nancy said right away.

"Well, do what you want, if you want to follow me, follow me, but don't give me the rod" – I sighed.

"I won't do it if you give me back to Phione," Nancy said.

"Wait sitting then" – I said without hesitation.

"Then you will not get rid of me, I will follow you all over Kanto if necessary," Nancy said.

"Well, if you want to come with me I won't stop you, it's always good to have a beautiful girl as a companion" – I said shrugging.

"H-Beautiful, your honeyed words are of no use against me! " Nancy said with a blush.

Well, the seed is planted, said now on this trip I have two objectives, the first is to overcome the original Ash and obviously get his place as Champion and the other is to get girls, if I were 10 years old I would not have considered it, but in this world you start your journey at 16 so there is no problem if i flirt with girls, True?

And yes, my goal is to form a harem, if you disagree then I can only say that I am sorry, because I always liked the waifus that made up this anime, but unfortunately the anime had no love theme.

To summarize, I have two goals, to be the best coach and to have a harem of beauties, will I get it? Obviously and the first one will be this girl, Nancy.

And with this goal in mind and together with Pikachu and my new annoying travel companion I was heading towards Viridian City while looking at the GPS of the Rotom Dex.
