CHAPTER 19 – VS LT. SURGE (PART THREE) (Fixed)

In the previous chapter we see how Ash is victorious after defeating the Raichu of the LT. Surge with Iron Tail, an attack that Pikachu learned on the fly, but now, being Nancy's turn, they are tied, Nancy weakened Voltorb, but lost a Pokémon against Electabuzz, now, it is Snivy's turn against a very weakened Electabuzz.

With Nancy.

"Thunder Punch!"

"Leaf Tornado!"

Thanks to the two Mud-Slap, the accuracy of Electabuzz had dropped and the attack failed again, however, my Snivy did succeed and sent Electabuzz flying.

This one barely got up, but still, it did, which persistently, received a lot of attacks head-on and is still standing.

"Very well Electabuzz, show them how we spent it, Quick Attack!"

"Turn on yourself and use Vine Whip!"

Snivy used Whip Strain, however, not in the conventional way, but turned on itself to prevent Electabuzz from hitting his blow, and I got it because he caught Electabuzz off guard and was sent to fly, now yes, weakening completely.

"Electabuzz can't continue, Snivy wins!" – said the referee.

"You did well Electabuzz, rest" – said the LT. It arises by returning Electabuzz to its Pokéball.

Then he looked at me and smiled.

"I must say that you are a couple, both are enormously strong and unpredictable, just like that, however, now the fun begins, Raichu, go out and show who is the best here!" – said the LT. Surge by taking out its third and final Pokémon.

"Let's not waste time then, Growth!"

Snivy raised his special attack with that, Raichu is a tough Pokémon to peel, so doing this seemed like the best option to me.

"Perfect, then use Iron Tail!"

Raichu lit up his tail and lunged straight towards Snivy.

"Concentrate the Leaf Tornado and hit it hard!"

Snivy lit up her tail and a small tornado of leaves began to swirl around her tail, which slammed into Raichu's tail.

"What a good way to counter, however, it is not enough!"

"What?"

Snivy did what she could, but Raichu's Railtail was too strong, and in the end, she lost and was sent flying.

"Are you okay?" - I asked somewhat nervously.

"Sni" – nodded.

"Then let's prove our worth, Vine Whip!"

The Vine Whip quickly headed towards Raichu, but he didn't bother to dodge.

"Quick attack and finish off with Iron Tail!"

Raichu smiled and dodged the Strain Whip, and was immediately in front of Snivy.

"¡Dodge it!"

But it was too late, and he hit him again, what should I do? That Raichu is too strong and I can't hit even one hit on it, not even the strategy I planned against Brock worked.

"You are strong, I have no doubt about that, but Raichu and I are much stronger!"

Tch, I hate to admit it, but, in this case you're right, I know it's wrong, but I had no choice but to take Quaxly out and think of a strategy, though...

"Sni" – she looked at me.

Soon, the light faded and revealed the new figure, Servine.

"Servine's data has been recorded in the Pokédex!" – that was the Rotom Dex.

"You evolved, for me..." – I said excitedly.

Snivy... no, Servine looked at me and smiled at me.

Servine nodded, and suddenly launched an attack, a greenish aura shot out of Raichu's body and got into his body.

"Mega Drain!" – I said in surprise.

"Vine" - Servine nodded.

Raichu had finally received an attack and this time it didn't seem to be too little for him.

"No matter how it evolves, we're still better, Iron Tail!"

Raichu threw himself back into Servine, however...

"Concentrate Leaf Tornado on your tail and attack!"

"It didn't work for you the first time and it won't work now!"

But he was wrong, when they collided this time, Raichu immediately flew out and crashed to the ground, where he could barely stand up.

"Let's get this over then, use Thunderbolt!"

"Mega Drain!"

The Thunderbolt hit Servine at the same time that the Mega Drain hit Raichu and regained its energy, so in the end, Raichu could not hold this and fell to the ground, weakened.

"Raichu can't keep fighting, therefore the winner is challenger Nancy!" – ruled the referee.

During the time of the Nancy's Gym Battle, we simply went for a drink and then went back to the Gym... though not without a bit of flirting.

"Ehem, I don't want to interrupt your moment, but there is still a fight against this lady, but I will give you good news, since you already won my medal, you can both pass by and see your partner, if you wish, of course" – commented the LT. Surge.

"What do you think?" – I asked Nancy.

Mainly in case I wanted to spend some time alone.

"Come on, I also want to see Verity fight, it's true that I fought her, but it's not the same as watching her from the stands" - Nancy said.

I do not want to talk much about my private life, but I must comment that since I met Ash, everything was pure happiness, not that I was not happy before, but with Ash it is different, and yes, for those who doubt, I really fell in love with him at first sight, just look, he is beautiful and, against more time I spent with him and saw his true self, I fell in love more , until finally, we started dating.

I just wanted that clear, now let's get back to the important thing, my Gym battle, today, I will finally show you my fighting style.

"Well, the rules are clear, 4 vs 4, the first to weaken all the Pokémon, is the victor, they can start!" – said the referee.

"Voltorb, I choose you!" – said the LT. Arises.

"Shroomish, I choose you!" – I said pulling Shroomish out of my Pokéball.

"Although I've been fighting for two fights, I'm not tired at all, so don't expect any less harsh treatment from me regarding your teammates, Voltorb, use Rollout!"

Voltorb lunged straight for Shroomish.

"Turn on yourself and use Poison Powder!"

This was to prevent me from dodging, it already happened to me with Brock.

Shroomish turned on himself and caused the Poison Powder to hit Voltorb squarely, poisoning him, but that could not prevent Shroomish from receiving the attack and being damaged by it.

"Fuck!" exclaimed the LT. Surge.

"Are you okay, Shroomish?" – I asked worriedly.

"Sro" – nodded.

"Okay, we are both tough and don't give in, use Headbutt!"

"Keep using Rollout!"

However, Shroomish's Headbutt was not going to the Voltorb itself, but to the ground, which caused the ground to shake and crash into the wall.

"Recompose yourself and use Thunder Shock!"

"Dodge it and use Leech Seed!"

Unfortunately, Voltorb was much faster than Shroomish and could not dodge his attack, luckily, ours did not fail either.

The Leech Seed took effect and got some of Shroomish's life back, however, and, while the Voltorb was badly injured, Shroomish wasn't much better either.

"Let's get this over with, use Rollout!"

Voltorb approached at full speed.

"Use Headbutt, stop that Voltorb at once!"

However, just as both attacks hit, the LT. Surge surprised me.

"Self-destruction!"

Damn, I didn't see it coming.

Thus, Voltorb self-destructed by weakening completely, the problem is that my Shroomish also did it and thus, my strategy of poisoning the Pokémon of the LT. Surge went down in history, fortunately, it is not the only one.

"You did very well Shroomish" – I said returning Shroomish to his Pokéball.

"You also Voltorb, but now the good is coming, go ahead Magnemite!"

"It's your turn Fuecoco!"

Both Pokémon came out into the field and stared at each other.

"Let's get started, Thundershock!"

"Contra attack with embers!"

Both attacks collided, but neither won and were drawn.

"¡Use Gyro Ball!"

"Incinerate!"

The Magnemite approached spinning on itself at a high speed, luckily, Fuecoco and its Incinerate made the Magnemite unable to reach its destination and was hit by the Incinerate.

"Recompose yourself and use Thunder Shock!"

"Nothing of that, we won't let you, Fuecoco uses Incinerate!"

Magnemite was going to attack, but Fuecoco was faster and connected a Incinerate that weakened Magnemite.

"Magnemite cannot continue, Fuecoco wins!" – said the referee.

3 vs 2, that was what I had left to win the medal, technically I had the advantage but never trust a fight, because a good strategy could turn the tables and make you lose the fight.

"Very good, you have done excellent, as I thought, I am fighting geniuses today, but we still don't give up prepare for the home stretch, Electabuzz, I choose you!"

Electabuzz came out of his Pokéball.

"Go back Fuecoco!"

That's right, I think my newly obtained Fuecoco is not enough to fight against a surely very experienced Electabuzz.

"Shinx, go ahead!"

I know an electric guy versus an electric guy isn't very effective, but I have a plan.

"Let's not waste time then, Thunder Punch!"

Electabuzz quickly approached Shinx.

"Use charge!"

Shinx accumulated electricity in his body, but, in return he had to let himself be hit, the good thing is that it was ineffective.

"Keep punching with Thunder Punch!"

"Keep using Charge!"

Thunder Punch after Thunder Punch, Charge after Charge, Shinx was already touched, however, I had already accumulated all the electricity possible, so it was my turn.

"Dodge the Thunder Punch and use Spark!"

The last Thunder Punch was dodged by Shinx who connected a very powerful Spark that sent Electabuzz fired.

When Electabuzz got up, he looked almost weakened, he could barely stand, the Spark was too powerful despite being ineffective, the bad thing is that Shinx was not much better.

"Don't give up, it's almost done, use Thunder Punch, and be done with it!"

Electabuzz sped over.

"Use Bite and finish this!"

The Bite and Thunder Punch impacted sending both Pokémon flying, however, to the LT'. Surge's bad luck, his Electabuzz fell weakened and my Shinx barely stood tall.

"Electabuzz can't continue, Shinx wins!" – said the referee.

But just when the LT. Surge returned Shinx to his Pokéball, a light enveloped Shinx, that's right, he was evolving.

"I don't know why I'm not surprised" - sighed the LT. Arises.

Soon, the light dissipated revealing Shinx's evolution, Luxio.

"Luxio data has been recorded in the Pokédex" – that was the Rotom Dex.

"It may have evolved, but it is in the last ones already, Raichu it depends on you!"

Raichu went out to the field, while I was already going to return Luxio to his Pokéball, but Luxio looked at me and denied.

"But you have hardly any strength left!" – I said worriedly.

"Xio" – smiled Luxio.

"So it will be then, use Charge!"

"Iron Tail!"

Luxio charged electricity, but was hit by Raichu's Railtail sending him flying.

"Xio!" he said as he looked at me.

"Okay, use Charge!"

"Finish him off, Iron Tail!"

Raichu hit the shot, but still, Luxio stood up, barely standing.

"How persistent, for Arceus, but that's his limit, finish it with Iron Tail!"

"Use Spark!"

Both attacks hit, and both Pokémon flew off, but while Raichu was clearly damaged, Luxio was weakened.

"Luxio can't continue, Raichu wins!" – the referee ruled.

"You've done great, I'm glad I have a Pokémon like you" – I smiled.

Then I looked at the Raichu, closed my eyes and sighed.

"Fuecoco proves what you are worth!"

"Coco" - said Fuecoco.

"Let's finish as soon as possible, use Thunderbolt!"

"Use Ember!"

The Ember and the Thunderbolt collided, but unfortunately the Thunderbolt was much superior and impacted Fuecoco, the good thing is that it withstood the blow, now the difficult thing is presented, Raichu will attack again with Lightning, I doubt that I use Iron Tail, so I only have one option left.

"Use Thunderbolt!"

"Run to him and dodge it!"

Fuecoco did what he could and ran towards the Raichu dodging the Thunderbolt narrowly.

"Incinerate!"

The Incinerate hit Raichu and sent him flying increasing the damage he had received from Luxio.

"End this with Thunderbolt!"

"¡Dodge it!"

Unfortunately he could not dodge it and Fuecoco was hit by the Thunderbolt and fell weakened.

"Fuecoco cannot continue, the winner is Raichu!" – said the referee.

"Now we are tied!" – said the LT. Surge.

"You can, but my partner will end this, Piplup, I choose you!"

Piplup came out of his Pokéball.

"Come on Piplup, let's show how strong we are!"

"Ha, now it's me who has the upper hand, use Thunderbolt, and be done with this quickly!"

"¡Water Pulse!"

Both attacks impacted and caused a smokescreen, well, just what I expected, although I must say that I played it.

When the smoke screen dissipated, Piplup was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is it?" – asked the LT. Surge surprised.

"Behind you, finish it, use Water Pulse!"

"¡Dodge it!"

But it was too late, the Water Pulse hit Raichu and sent him flying completely weakening, well, at least the attrition strategy worked, then I will invite my Pokémon to a good meal.

"Raichu can't continue, the winner is Piplup, and therefore the winner is the challenger Verity!"

After this, everyone congratulated me and finally I won my third medal, but honestly, I need a break for training i need a relax.
