CHAPTER 117 – THE FINAL, ASH VS NANCY

In the previous chapter we see how the battle against Gary concludes with the victory of our hero Ash who will now face Nancy for the title of champion of the Indigo League, but not only that, apparently Gary warned them that a group of people had formed a group called "Project Mew" which aimed to find Mew, so now that they knew that Ash had a Mew they would come to investigate him, what will happen to our heroes? Molly was sad but then wiped away her tears and smiled.

"It doesn't matter that I have school, i studied from home before, i can do it again while traveling with you brother!" – Molly said convinced.

Although i hadn't thought of that possibility, i don't know if my parents will let her do that, especially after everything we went through to enroll her.

"Let's do one thing, if you can get our parents to agree to you studying at home again and let you come with me and the others, then I'll let you come with us, is that okay?" – I asked looking at her somewhat seriously.

After all, i doubt they will accept.

"I'm fine with it, i'll convince them, i have a few months to do it!" – Molly nodded.

The girls and I looked at each other and we could only crack a smile, logically I would not get it, a shame, but obviously my parents would not approve, although... No, I don't think they're capable.

"NOW THAT WE ARE ALL LET ME TELL YOU THAT TODAY WE WILL WITNESS THE BATTLE IN WHICH THE PARTICIPANT ASH AND THE PARTICIPANT NANCY WHO WILL BATTLE FOR THE TITLE OF CHAMPION, THE ONE WHO WINS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BATTLE AGAINST THE ELITE FOUR OF KANTO AND IF HE/SHE SURPASSES THEM HE WILL BE ABLE TO CHALLENGE THE CHAMPION LANCE AND IF BY CHANCE SHE/HE WINS, SHE/HE WILL BECOME THE CHAMPION OF JOHTO AND KANTO"

I forgot to mention something, yes, Johto and Kanto own the same Pokémon League, so why aren't Lira and Lisa here alongside the Johto participants? Easy, because they decided to do two Indigo Leagues, the first was Kanto and 3 weeks later will take place the Johto League, do not ask me because they are not together if they share a champion because I do not know, I just know that it is like that.

"WHEN PARTICIPANTS WANT THEY CAN START!"

"Quaquaval/Meloetta, I choose you!" – we both said at the same time.

"PARTICIPANT NANCY HAS DECIDED TO START WITH HER POWERFUL QUAQUAVAL WHILE PARTICIPANT ASH HAS DECIDED TO START WITH HER MYTHICAL POKÉMON MELOETTA, THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC!"

"Quaquaval use Aqua Cutter!"

Quaquaval headed straight for Meloetta with the intention of hitting him with his powerful attack.

"Don't let him get close to you, Meloetta use Relic Song!"

Meloetta used Relic Song against Quaquaval preventing him from approaching, but receiving little damage.

*Note: before continuing the chapter I warn you that this battle will be short, I know it is boring so much battle and I want to shorten it but make it more exciting than writing 4 chapters of the same thing, besides is more confortable for me and i know that you want to know the next region as soon as possible ;)

By using her attack Meloetta acquired her other form, i do not want this battle to last long, Nancy knows me and knows many of my strategies, so the only thing I can do against her is to speed up the process or she will start counterattack me and as I also know her strategies we will be in a stalemate so I only have one option, all the battles will have to be brute force, without strategies or this battle could last a century.

"Meloetta use Close Combat non-stop, Quaquaval must be weakened as soon as possible!"

Meloetta quickly sped towards Quaquaval.

"I can see your strategy and if you want a exhaustion battle you will have it, Quaquaval use Close Combat non-stop!"

Both began to clash punches and kicks, one after the other, sometimes Meloetta hits several blows while sometimes it was Quaquaval who hits Meloetta but at the end of so many blows, both were panting due to the wear of energy.

"It's time to finish, Meloetta use Psychic!"

I know this way is not ideal for using Psychic but Meloetta is very tired and it would be very difficult to hit the blow without Quaquaval taking advantage of this opportunity.

"Finish this battle, Quaquaval use Wave Crash!"

Quaquaval wrapped himself in water and headed straight towards Meloetta, however, he collided with his Psychic, which when making contact caused an explosion that sent both to fly and weakened them on the spot.

"INCREDIBLE EXHAUSTION BATTLE THAT HAS ENDED WITH THE DEFEAT OF BOTH POKÉMON EQUALING THE SCOREBOARD 1 TO 1, IT SEEMS THAT BOTH PARTICIPANTS ARE OPTING FOR A BRUTE FORCE BATTLE INSTEAD OF BEING STRATEGIC, THIS WILL SURELY BE A SHORT BUT EXCITING BATTLE!"

"It seems that you want to end this battle as soon as possible" - Nancy said with a smile.

"We both know each other's strategies, it seems to me that the only chance I have of winning lies in a brute force battle although I must admit that I don't like that kind of battle" - I nodded.

"What a coincidence, I was thinking exactly the same" - Nancy said.

After congratulating both Pokémon for their great effort, we both took out our Pokéball.

"Why prolong the battle more than necessary? Meowscarada I choose you!" – I said.

"If I use Blaziken I'm sure you'll switch Pokémon so let's do another thing, Salamence I choose you!" – Nancy said.

"IN THIS BATTLE SALAMENCE WILL BATTLE AGAINST MEOWSCARADA, I WONDER WHO WILL WIN!"

"Let's get started, Salamence use Dragon Claw!"

With astonishing speed Salamence headed towards Meowscarada with the intention of hitting him.

Nancy's Salamence is very powerful and if his attack hits Meowscarada he would receive a blow that would leave him almost weakening, so I only have one option.

"Don't dodge, Meowscarada use Play Rough!"

Meowscarada wrapped himself in a pink aura and headed straight towards Salamence.

Both attacks collided causing a small gust of air, but neither of them gave in to the other, it is incredible that we draw in strength knowing that Meowscarada has been with me for a long time more longer than Salamence and Nancy have been together so you can see how hard they trained.

"Don't give up Salamence, continue to use Dragon Claw, Meowscarada will eventually get tired!"

"None of that, it will be Salamence who will gets tired, Meowscarada use Play Rough!"

Both Pokémon exchanged blows one after the other, neither hit their rival but fatigue soon they began to pant.

"Salamence retire and use Acrobatics!"

Salamence retreated and then flew into the air, made a 360º turn and sped towards Meowscarada.

"Let's end this, Meowscarada uses Play Rough!"

Both Pokémon collided causing a huge gust of air and a thick smoke screen that when it dissipated both Pokémon could be seen on the ground weakened.

"IT'S AMAZING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM HAS AGAIN RESULTED IN A DRAW EQUALING AGAIN THE SCOREBOARD TO 2 TO 2, BOTH PARTICIPANTS SEEM TO HAVE RAISED THEIR POKÉMON VERY WELL BUT IT SEEMS THAT BOTH POSSESS THE SAME STRENGTH, I WONDER WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THIS POKÉMON LEAGUE!"

It is as I expected, Nancy and I are tied in strength, which makes me happy and surprises me at the same time, it should be said that I am a reincarnated person with a lot of knowledge about the competitive of Pokémon and Nancy is a rookie trainer who went out on her first trip a few months ago, I do not say that I should be much stronger than her but I honestly believed that I would take the advantage in this battle But apparently we are tied, I guess traveling together and being a partner has made us know each other perfectly.

"It's amazing that we tied again" - Nancy smiled.

"The truth is that we are just as strong" – I nodded.

"Maybe it's due to the fact that we're partners" - Nancy said.

"Maybe, but let's leave the talks for after the battle, now we must concentrate on what we have in front of us... Manaphy I choose you!" – I said.

"Manaphy? It seems perfect to me, so I will use ... Nidoqueen I choose you!" – said Nancy.

Why Nidoqueen if you have Serperior?

"I know what you think but I want to use Serperior for another battle, plus I want to see if Nidoqueen and I can overcome our weakness!" – Nancy said.

"PARTICIPANT NANCY HAS CHOSEN TO USE HER NIDOQUEEN WHO IS WEAK TO WATER TYPE POKÉMON, I WONDER WHAT SHE'S PLANNING!"

"If you want that then I won't be polite, Manaphy use Hydro Pump!"

A powerful gust of water headed straight towards Nidoqueen.

"Use Protect and then Stone Edge!"

Nidoqueen successfully protected himself and punched the ground from which numerous sharp rocks came out and furiously headed towards Manaphy.

"We've already seen that attack hundreds of times and it won't work, Manaphy jumps over the rocks and then use Hydro Pump again!"

Manaphy waited until the rocks were close to her and as we had done countless times she jumped on them, but when she tried to use her attack, Nidoqueen had already positioned herself in front of her.

"Now, use Thunderbolt!"

"Damn, Manaphy tries to use Knock Off!"

Manaphy wrapped her fist in a dark glow and tried to hit Nidoqueen, the good thing is that she got it, the bad thing is that she was also hit by the Thunderbolt and was quite affected by it.

"PARTICIPANT NANCY PUTS PARTICIPANT ASH IN A DIFFUCULT SITUATION BECAUSE THE THUNDERBOLT HITTED MANAPHY DIRECTLY!"

"It's the end Ash, Nidoqueen use Thunderbolt!"

"We'll see if it's the end, Manaphy use Hydro Pump!"

Both attacks hit each other but neither seemed to want to give in, both Pokémon used all their strength to try to impact an attack on their opponent without any success until both attacks exploded causing a huge smoke screen.

"Now Manaphy use Knock Off!"

Manaphy quickly headed towards Nidoqueen.

"Use Protect and then Thunderbolt!"

"You fell into my trap, Manaphy you know what to do!"

"It can't be, Nidoqueen discards the Protect and use Thunderbolt!"

At that moment the smoke screen dissipated revealing Manaphy very close to Nidoqueen.

"Hydro Pump!"

Nidoqueen did not have time to launch his attack but Manaphy did and sent Nidoqueen to fly severely damaging him.

"Very well Ash, as expected of you, let's finish this in one hit, Nidoqueen use Poison Jab!"

Nidoqueen wrapped his fist with a violet aura and headed for Manaphy at full speed.

"It's okay with me, Manaphy use Knock Off!"

Both Pokémon collided attacks, but at the moment in which both attacks made contact they exploded sending both Pokémon to fly and weakening them on the spot.
