Ace looked at the wide open venue and walked through the gate with all his Pokemon. The first thing he heard was "Elesa, look here! Over here, Miss Electric!" he looked over to see Elesa doing some kind of fashion show while people sat around watching.

His lips twitched, you came to Oreburgh for this?

As a Fossil Pokemon unveiling?

Ace didn't know what her agent was thinking, maybe he just lost his marbles or something? He shook his head and left it alone, looking around before seeing Oak. He smiled and walked over, Tyrantrum's steps making the people sitting bounce in their seats!

They turned and saw the giant Dinosaur, screaming in shock!

Everyone turned to see Ace walking over to Oak with a long line of Fossil Pokemon!

Oh, and a Machop next to him.

Oak's eyes lit up and he laughed, walking over, "Ace! Come, come." suddenly, a child ran out, jumping on Tyrantrum, "Hahaha! Do you remember me?" Tyrantrum roared and flicked Ash to his head.

Ace was stunned, this old man brought Ash? Oak slapped his shoulder and smiled, "Long time no see!" Ace smirked, "Not that long." Oak rolled his eyes and smiled, turning to the other Professors, "This is Ace, the owner of the new Fossil Pokemon."

Ace looked down and smiled, "Hey Gary, are you doing alright?" Gary crossed his arms like a little adult, "Fine!" while taking glances at the Dinosaur Pokemon, Ace picked him up and said, "You wanna play with them?"

Gary snorted, "N-No!" Ace tossed him in the air, really high up, while laughing. Gary screamed and Oak ignored him as the Professors walked over. Ace whistled and Archeops flew by, catching Gary and flying in the sky as Gary's screams turned to uproarious laughter.

Ace turned back to the Professors and froze as a girl walked up, clenching a fist with a smile, "Well, well, well!" Ace's lips twitched, "Ha… Sonia… How's it goin'? Haha…" Sonia 'smiled', "Nice to meet you, MR Ace!"

Oak asked curiously, "You two know each other?" Sonia grinned and looked at Ace, who swallowed. An old lady smiled, nodding, "Ace is from Galar, we've met before. Sonia and Ace used to be playmates."

Oak looked at Ace with a smirk as Ace burst into a cold sweat, don't slander me! This crazy woman, I don't want to be associated!

Sonia laughed and smiled, "Yeah! Until he ran away! Ahaha!" Ace stuttered, "A-A-Adventure! I went on an adventure!" Sonia sneered, "Adventure?! You left Galar 10 years ago and never called back once! Do you know how worried everyone was?! You know I get calls every day asking if I heard about you?!"

She grinded her teeth and glared at him.

Ace coughed and looked at the others for help, Magnolia and Oak were chatting happily on the side while a certain chic professor rubbed Tyrantrum's legs, yelling "Magnifique!" The others shook their heads looking at Ace and Sonia.

Ace coughed again and ignored Sonia, turning to the rest of the Professors, "Ahem! Well, everyone, welcome to Oreburgh!" 

Just as he was about to continue, a thick voice sounded, "I should be the one welcoming, right?" Ace looked over and rolled his eyes, "But you're late, Byron." Byron shrugged and walked over with Roark, shaking hands with the Professors, "Welcome, everyone. Professor Rowan."

He nodded at Rowan before talking with the rest.

Ace waved at the little guys and they ran over, very lively. He let the Professors look at them and take pictures while standing on the side with Sonia, who crossed her arms, "What happened to Noibat? His colors changed?"

Ace corrected, "Her. Also, this is a different Noibat." Noibat looked at Sonia curiously, "Noi?" Ace's lips twitched, "No more dramas for you." Noibat was dumbfounded, crying, "Noi! Noi Noi!?" Ace shook his head and Sonia giggled, looking at Noibat, "Well, I haven't seen the other one for a long time. She must've evolved, right? Let me see."

Ace fell silent and clenched his crossed arms, "She…" he closed his eyes and continued, "She's dead." Sonia froze and shouted in disbelief, "WHAT?!" Ace opened his eyes, full of cold violence, "More specifically, she sacrificed herself to save me."

Sonia looked at him and asked with a trembling voice, "Then… Silicobra and Eiscue…" Ace stayed silent and Sonia clenched her fists, "What happened…?" Ace replied simply, "I wasn't strong enough. That's all."

Sonia looked at him and sighed sadly, "Are you okay, Ace?" Ace said flatly, "I'm fine." Sonia opened her mouth and Ace added, "Drop it!" She closed her mouth and sighed, patting his arm in comfort.

Ace closed his eyes and returned to normal, smiling at the Professors who came to ask questions while Sonia stayed quiet on the side.

Across the Venue, Elesa was watching and narrowed her eyes at Sonia, nibbling on her lips.

Sonia paused and turned around, seeing Elesa looking at her. She looked excited and waved happily, taking out a notebook and a pen. Elesa turned her eyes to Ace's back, softening instantly before turning back to Sonia.

Hmph! Just a crazy fan!

Better not have any thoughts about my darling…

As Ace was chatting with the Professors, Velovish ran off. Ace watched him go and waved, "It's fine, let him be. Everything here is under control." before going back to his talk. Sonia chased after the Velovish, "Come here, little guy!"

She ran through the crowd and came to Elesa's catwalk. She looked up as Velovish jumped into Elesa's arms, snuggling there, "Velo Velo~" Elesa hugged him, smiling, "You want to perform with me?" Velovish raised his fins happily and Elesa snorted with pride.

She put Velovish down and said a few words, making a gesture. Velovish nodded and posed with Elesa. Sonia clapped happily while the others frantically took pictures.

Ace looked over and shook his head before pausing. He frowned and said "Excuse me." before flashing. Meowth fell from her seat in shock as Oak caught her. The other Professors were dumbfounded.

As Elesa was performing, a Machoke was released and punched at her, "Get that woman out of the way, Machoke!" as he reached for the Velovish. Sonia was startled and stood in front of the Velovish instantly.

Elesa froze but suddenly Ace stood in front of her, holding Machoke's fist.

There was a pause and many people sucked in a cold breath of air.
