A few days later

Ace touched down in Nimbasa City. Someone pointed at him and Ace rubbed his nose, walking into the Nimbasa Gym. He caught a glimpse of N standing around, N looked at him and waved gently. Ace smiled and waved at him before walking into the gym.

A girl jumped out, "Hold it, Challenger!" Ace pointed at his face, "Nika, I'm not a challenger… How many times do I have to tell you…" Nika snorted, "You look like a Thief to me!" Ace was speechless, "A Thief?"

Nika nodded before bursting into tears, "You're stealing our Gym leader!" before hanging on him, crying bitterly. Ace was stunned and patted her back, "Well… you'll get used to it… Who's the Gym leader?"

Nika pointed at her own nose, "Me!" Ace was speechless instantly, "Shouldn't you be happy?" Nika cried, "Happy?! Elesa is my master and idol! And you took her away, you big meanie!" as she punched his chest with her small fists.

Ace rubbed the back of his neck, "Um… Sorry for your loss?" Nika said in shock, "She's dead?!" Ace looked at her in disbelief, "Are you crazy?!" before chopping her neck and carrying her with him.

He came to the back, seeing Geeta, Cynthia, and Elesa sitting around drinking coffee while chatting.

Ace threw Nika onto a sofa and asked, "Ready to go?" they looked at him and Elesa lit up, "Darling!" Ace held her, "It's alright, just sit." Elesa rolled her eyes sweetly, "Hehe~" Cynthia and Geeta's lips twitched.

Geeta stood up, smiling, "Ms Cynthia, if you'd like a tour, you can come along. I flew here on my Private Plane." Cynthia touched her chin, "I'd love to… but I have to work." she sighed and Ace asked, "Huh? Why don't you just take a vacation for a week or so?"

Cynthia rolled her eyes and said, "You think I can just take time off like you? It's already been 2 weeks that I haven't been in Sinnoh. Who knows what's going on there?" Ace nodded and said, "Oh, Byron is challenging Aaron in 2 weeks and that showoff kid went 6 for 1 with Candice in Snowpoint."

Cynthia was stunned, "What!?" Ace nodded, shrugging, "What are you gonna do? He swept her with an Entei." Cynthia's lips twitched and she put down her coffee, sighing angrily, "Really!" she looked at Geeta and sighed, "Looks like that battle will have to wait."

Geeta sighed and nodded, "I understand. I also have to hurry back, there's a lot of tasks for me to finish." Cynthia shook her hand, "Nice to meet you, I will definitely visit in the future!" Geeta nodded with a smile, "You're always welcome, Cynthia."

Cynthia smiled and nodded as she turned to Ace, "We still have to finish up the Speed Battle rules." Ace rubbed his chin and nodded, "That's right… I'll try and figure out some Teleportation Technology, that way we can teleport Items or even people." Cynthia waved, "I can just fly, it's not a problem."

She hugged Elesa, "Stay healthy." Elesa smiled and hugged her back, "Thank you." Cynthia smiled and left as Geeta smiled at the couple, "Ready to leave?"

Ace nodded and pulled Elesa's hand as they went to the airport in Nimbasa.

On the Plane, Geeta sat across from Ace and Elesa with her legs crossed. 

Ace leaned on his knees, "Let's get down to business." Geeta smiled at him, "Okay. Let me say it straight." she turned to Elesa, "We have an excellent education system in Paldea, there's no need for you to pay anything. Your children will be able to enroll for free for your Husband's help."

Elesa nodded and crossed her legs, "That's fine. I want to see your so-called 'Excellent Education System' before I make a decision. I also want to add that we want a piece of land of our choice unconditionally. Also, the rights to do whatever we want on that land." Geeta nodded, "Of course, as I told your husband. I won't interfere in your choices. As long as you have the strength, you can even own my house."

Elesa snorted, "I don't want your house. We will make our own house. Together." she waved and continued, "What are your rules on Gyms." Geeta smiled and explained, "Like other regions, you can put up a Gym wherever you want, even hand out badges… But you must get my approval and you'll be subjected to yearly Gym Inspections."

Geeta held out a finger, "However, I want to make one thing clear." Elesa waved for her to continue, "Depending on the placement of your Gym in regards to the Academy, you will be subjected to restrictions. That means, if you're too close, you will have to use weaker Pokemon because otherwise it will affect the first battles of many students."

Geeta continued explaining very seriously, "I don't take our Education lightly, no matter what. All Students have a Gym Series of their own and a Journey for them to experience. I will not have Students' spirits crushed because of unreasonable difficulty. For many Students, their first battles are very important and while it is, of course, necessary for it to be challenging, by no means should they lose their will to be trainers!"

Elesa looked at her in silence for a moment before smirking, "I like that." Geeta let out a breath and smiled, "Good." Ace was dazed, wasn't he the one talking? What just happened? He coughed and said, "What else do you want?"

Geeta looked at him and nodded, "What you did for the other regions." Ace raised his brows and Geeta continued, "Enriching the quality of Trainers with your various products is an eye opener. As Paldea gets more integrated into the Alliance, there will be more and more visitors. Without this common topic, I'm worried about the thoughts of these visitors. Obviously we don't need their opinions, but if people want to move here, there needs to be a sense of homeliness."

Ace thought about it and Geeta waved, "Whatever you need, I will try to get it for you. In addition to working in Area Zero, I have many more jobs for you to choose from. I understand that you may not want to stay in Area Zero all the time, like I've told you. It IS a dangerous place after all, accidents can happen. I obviously don't want to see you have an accident. So, I'm not forcing you to go and explore."

She sighed, "It would be nice if you did, but it's not necessary. I can tell everyone that you did, but never found anything." Ace waved and said, "There's no need. I will go. What's dangerous for you, isn't dangerous for me. Not to mention, things like this are my specialty… I've seen a lot of ruins, you'll never get far if you don't have the guts to explore."

He rubbed his chin and thought about it, "For the other things… I can only say that I'll try my best. After all, these are for the people to judge, not me. There have been complaints from parents that their kids spend too much time playing video games… That's why I made the Pokemon Sleep App."

He looked at her, "Your Rotom Technology…" Geeta smiled wryly, "Unfortunately not as advanced as the outside world! We still use the old Rotom Phone Models, forget about RotomNavs or RotomWatches." Ace leaned back and narrowed his eyes, "Hm. I gotcha."

Elesa said, "You want him to work right away?" Geeta shook her head, "No. You have a month to settle down and do what you need to do." Elesa frowned, "Only a month." Ace patted her thigh, "A month is a lot of time." Elesa shook her head, "I'm due in 2." Ace was stunned and she rolled her eyes at him, smiling.

Geeta waved, "Don't worry about this… Of course he can take a break at any time, I'm not a slave driver." Elesa nodded and looked at Ace, who tilted his head, "Well, let's worry about that when the time comes."

Geeta nodded and asked, "Can I get you anything to drink?" Ace waved and refused, looking out the window.

He looked at the clouds for a while, deciding where to settle down. But without knowing where the timeline was… It was a bit difficult… Seems like he'll have to do some investigating.
