6 Getting New Friend

NOTE: I am skipping first three months of class and will skip first year after this chapter, though will update what all he learned.

Three Months passed:

Alan and his Beldum were more close to each other and he also told his four classmates about him, they all were happy to meet a pokemon with whom they could play while in first year as well, though they all were familiar to pokemons but still in these 3 months they got chance to meet pokemons only few times when any professor was teaching about certain types, like once Professor Gary Oak gave lecture along with his Umbreon, when he was telling about dark types and different evolution of eevees.

Alan's family has also shifted to Celadon city, they bought a big house which had a big backyard where Alan could train his Beldum easily. Alan also moved back with his family last week.

One fine day Alan was training his Beldum, Alan was gifted a pokeball by his father on his 5th Birthday and Alan planned to catch a pokemon with it but he thought to catch a steel type only like his Beldum. Beldum was able to use confusion more perfectly now and he could lift Alan using his confusion and can hold him up there for 10 Minutes now.

That day Alan felt something unusual with his shadows but he ignored, though in last lecture he studied about ghost type pokemon that can manipulate shadows of any living being. But he thought a ghost type cannot come to Celadon, they mainly reside near Lavender Town as that town has big Pokemon Tower which is used as Burial ground for pokemons.

After exhausting training for around 2 hours Alan told Beldum to take a break, they both walked to the table which was arranged by his mother for lunch. Alan was having trouble in walking, he felt like something is there near his feet but still he ignored that. As they were eating Alan felt that someone just stole food from his plate, he ignored first but it again happened so he stood up and told Beldum to use confusion on his shadows, Beldum was confused but he tried his best, after trying his best, Alan saw something coming out of his Shadow, it was a sword like pokemon.

Alan recalled this pokemon, it was Honedge, "What the hell a Honedge doing in our backyard ? This pokemon is from kalos region." He shouted. That pokemon also growled and used shadow ball on Beldum, that attack was direct hit but move wasn't that powerful.

'He was in my shadow for this much time but still his shadow ball isn't powerful enough, how is it possible ?' Thought Alan and looked again at the pokemon, this Honedge was looking different, shine in the sword wasn't as good as he saw in the book. This was looking weak, 'This is weak, I think this pokemon was trying to escape from wild pokemons around. But how it reached here in Kanto from a faraway region like Kalos ?' Thought Alan, but he was startled by a cry from beldum who just got hit by another Shadow ball.

"Beldum, this is going to be a real training for you, it will be helpful. Go use confusion on that pokemon." Said Alan and Beldum's single eye turned blue, he picked up that Honedge and threw on the ground and continued for two-three turn when suddenly that Honedge escaped that confusion and used shadow sneak on Beldum, this attack wasn't very powerful as that hit from his blade wasn't able to give enough damage to Beldum.

"Beldum he is weak, use confusion again." Said Alan, he read about ghost types that they cannot be hit by any Normal or Fighting type attack so using take down wasn't a good idea on this pokemon. Beldum's eyes again turned blue and he picked up that Honedge back from shadow then smashed on the tree nearby, Alan threw the pokeball he got from his dad on that pokemon, that honedge was captured.

Alan walked to that pokeball and picked it up then raised his hand with pokeball and shouted, "I caught a pokemon." Beldum also circled around him in happiness.

"Ok, so now we need to tame it, as I learned from school that a pokemon caught in wild can attack you if not tamed properly. I may need your help in this Beldum." Alan said & Beldum nodded with serious look.

He called out the newly caught Honedge who tried to hide back in shadow as soon as he came out, Alan motioned Beldum to pick him up from shadow and he followed command of Beldum, Alan walked towards the pokemon binded in the confusion of Beldum, that Honedge was struggling to escape but it was of no use because he was very weak.

"Hello Honedge, I am Alan Parker, your new trainer. I know you must be hungry but I will only allow you to eat if you promise me that you will obey me." Said Alan.

Honedge looked at food on the table nearby and then at Alan and then again started struggling to release from confusion, Alan walked a little closer and put a hand on the Sash of Honedge and said, "I think you don't trust me. But I assure you that I won't harm you and I will treat you like my family. If you join our team then you will get alot of food to eat and also a new family." Honedge again looked at Alan and this time he wasn't struggling to get released, Alan looked at Beldum and told him to release Honedge, the he continued patting his Sash and said, "Buddy, welcome to family. I know you must be very hungry so go on and eat, I will tell my mom to bring more food for all of us." Honedge looked at the human infront and then ran towards food after nodding.

Honedge's P.O.V.

I just came out of the cage or pokeball that's what humans call it, I saw the human and a pokemon, I thought if I get back to shadow then I may be able to escape. But that human's pokemon was very powerful, he picked me up using some blue power, I tried to escape it but I couldn't. I ignored what all that human said and kept on my try to escape. But finally when that human said "Family" I remebered my family, my mom, dad, brother, also how that cruel human used sleep powder on me and picked me from there, though I was a new born but my mom and dad taught me about shadow power so I was able to run from that Cruel Human.

Pokemons were trying to kill me and many humans tried to catch me on that cage but I escaped, but this human... this human wanted to add me in his family. I stopped struggling and looked through his eyes, those eyes were so pure, they were pure like a fresh lake water. Also I saw the pokemon who defeated me, he was also happy, it was like he considered that human as his brother. I thought that I don't have any option to return but here if I stay with this human then I won't be harmed, after thinking all this and looking at innocent face of that human I stopped struggling, and that human also told his pokemon to free me, but I didn't move after freeing, I waited to see what he was saying and finally he told me to eat, I was very hungry, I haven't eaten anything since last one month, also I was being chased by many pokemon and humans that tired me additionally, so my hunger controlled me and I hurried towards the food.

T.P.P:

Alan looked at the honedge who was eating like he saw food for the first time and he smiled, then he told Beldum to join Honedge in lunch and he went to tell his mom to bring some more food.

Suggestion Needed:

I need help in choosing pokemon (Only Steel Types.) so that I can plan accordingly, what pokemon you want Alan to get from School and what all pokemons you want in his team. Please give your suggestions.
