First Day with Cilan
The next day, after completing the lectures of Professor Samuel Oak and Professor Gary Oak, everyone was asked to go to the training ground with their instructors for training. The whole class was happy for the training lecture, and the whole class rushed to the training ground.
"Hello all, so how was your bonding day ?" Said Cilan who was already waiting for the group in training ground.
"It was great." Said everyone in single tone.
"Thats great, as you know that the pokemon you got were already tamed so it wasn't a issue in taming them but when you catch a wild pokemon then it may be tough work while taming them, thats why many trainers prefer pre-evolved/initial form of any pokemon, as they are weak in many cases except for dragon types, so it become easy to tame those weaklings and can become a loyal friend in long run, but still there is chances that a pokemon may attack you after evolution, that happens due to new power they get and some pokemons like Zoroark try to get leader position and in that process they can harm their trainer as well. So you have to be very careful while forming a team, you will study about nature of pokemons in this year and also about evolution." Said Cilan.
"I thought, if you tame a pokemon and bond with them properly then they won't harm you even after evolving." Said Noah.
"No Noah, thats not the case always, in some cases your pokemon evolve due to bond between you and your pokemon so those pokemon will never attack you, for example here Riolu, it evolves with good bond between trainer and pokemon so even after its evolution in Lucario it will be loyal and protective towards its trainer. But in some cases like a Swinub, these pokemon becomes egoistic after evolution as they get tremendous powers after evolving which they are not able to control so they may create trouble to their trainer and in extreme cases they may kill their trainer. Thats why many trainers use everstone so that their pokemon never evolve." Said Cilan.
"So is it same case for my Chimchar ?" Asked Noah.
"Yes it may happen, as a fire type pokemon is very arrogant but in whole group of fire types, a Growlithe is most loyal pokemon, even after evolution but a Charmander can become aggressive after evolving to Charizard so you should be prepared with another tamed pokemon who can defeat the arrogant pokemon and show him who is the boss. But these happens in some cases, but in many cases a bond between trainer can be strong enough to make pokemon calm even after evolving, so you don't need to worry about t as by the time your pokemon evolve, you may get another pokemon." Said Cilan.
"But how are we gonna get another pokemon ?" Asked Noah.
"Because we always have field trip with students to different region or same region, and this year your class and my class is going for trip to Galar Region. You will get a book of information about Galar region and places where we will visit. You should get ready with what pokemon you want to add in your team from that region." Said Cilan.
"Wow, that will be great." Said Ethan.
"Ok so I have given you information about pokemon's behavior after evolution and importance of bonding with pokemon, so now we will start with training. And for first day I have asked Professor Samuel Oak to update your pokedex with info about what attacks your pokemon can learn, this list will show all the attacks possible without using TM, that can be different then types also because moveset depends on type of parents as well." Said Cilan.
"So how to use this new update ?" Asked Alan.
"Scan your pokemon's pokeball under scanner and then when details popup scroll down to see a tab which shows moves that this pokemon can learn by training and percentage of success level as well. If success level is under 50% then its very hard to learn that move and if its above 70% then it is easy to teach that attack. Do this process then we can choose what attacks we want to start with." Said Cilan.
Everyone opened their pokedex and started scanning pokeball of their pokemons. Alan also scanned pokeball of Riolu to check what moves it can learn.

Moves which can be learned: Metal Claw (80%), Brick Break (85%), Nasty Plot (75%), Work Up (90%), Blaze Kick (85%), Shadow Ball (25%), Focus Blast (45%), Zen Headbutt (30%), Aura Sphere (25%), Rock Slide (40%).
"Wow, Alan, your pokemon have quite good combination of moves it can learn." Said Cilan.
"But why Aura sphere is hard to learn ?" Asked Alan.
"Because Riolu is weak in controlling aura." Said Cilan.
Though Alan was still confused but he still nodded and Cilan continued, "We will start with moves which have high power rate, like Riolu here can learn move Work Up and the level of chance is 90% so it won't take more than 1 week to learn this move. As you have studied, a work up is move which increases Attack and Special Attack power of your pokemon by one stage and this can effect very much in battle, but remember that status moves cannot be used for many turns as it becomes very hard for pokemon to control its increased power and it may collapse."
Everyone nodded and they started to work on new move, Alan planned to teach Brick Break and Blaze Kick as well by next 2 weeks, so it can be useful in battle against pokemon which have immunity against fighting types.
