Pokemon - True Story of Ash (Dropped)

Ding* Dong* Ding* Dong* The sound of a school bell rings within a noisy classroom. An average looking middle-aged man wearing glasses along with messy hair and an untrimmed beard gathers his books and neatly places them together and tapping them onto the table. Bop* Bop* "That's all for today class, we will resume from page 290 during our next class. Be sure to be ready!" said the middle-aged man

"Ok teacher!" Some students in the classroom shout as they stood up and bowed as the teacher left the classroom. In the corner of the classroom, a young man quickly gathers his things and shoves them into his bag before taking out his 3DS

Another student who sat in front of the young man said "Hey Kevin! Did you finish Pokemon Ultra Sun 2 yet? Let's battle!". The student named Kevin replied "Oh Tom? I finished ages ago, just waited for you to catch up. Let's battle on the way home!"

"Great! Though you better put your DS away, for now, it might get damaged if you bump into someone." Tom replied

On the way home, the two boys Tom and Kevin battled it out on their 3DS's, not paying attention the boys hear screams whilst walking at a crossing. "Kids! Watch out!" shouted multiple people. Beep* Beep* The honking of a truck could be heard, however, it was too late.

Boom* Crash* Within seconds, the two boys couldn't be seen and a sea of crimson red blood seeps around the bottom of the truck

After 20 minutes or so the sound of an Ambulance could be heard. Weee* Wooo* Weee* Wooo*

Opening his eyes only to see a dark room, Kevin turned his head around to see Tom floating in the air next to him. Seeing his best friend floating in the air, Kevin tried to wake him however, he found himself unable to move and could only shout "Tom! Tom! Wake up!"

Waking up in a daze, Tom says "Kevin?" as he turns to face the direction of the voice. "Tom! You're awake! We were just battling it out in Pokemon... According to what I remember.. We were hit by a truck!" Kevin said as his head started hurting

"That's right! That means.. Are we in Heaven? Or Hell? Where could this be?" Tom said. "I don't know, but wherever it is at least we aren't alone," Kevin replied

After a few minutes, a bright and shining light appears in front of the two boys. From within the bright light, an old man with a white beard and sword like eyebrows says "Welcome, As you know the two of you are dead.."

The two boys stare at the old man for a few seconds before turning around to look at each other with puzzled expressions. The old man continued "Hey don't ignore me you brats, I may be old but I'm a genuine god!"

"A god? Ok, why are we here?" Tom asked the self-proclaimed god. "Well, according to my records your time wasn't up. For some unknown reason, the two of you died and even at the same time. So I'll allow you two to be reincarnated into a world of your choosing and also give you the ability to see the status of everything as if life is a video game. Now make your choice."

Without any hesitation, the two boys looked at each other for a second before shouting in unison "The Pokemon World!". "Alright, since you two died on the same day, I'll allow you two to be born in the same town and grow up together with your memories intact." The self-proclaimed god said

"Wait, before you go, can you tell us your name?" Tom asked. "I'm the God of the Afterlife, Niorr. Now off you two go." Niorr replied before his right hand glowed and shone a green light onto the two boys

In a certain little town in the Kanto region.....

Waah* Waah* The cries of two babies could be heard in the same room. "Congratulations! Mrs Ketchum and Mrs Oak, two healthy young boys!". A woman wearing a nurse outfit said whilst holding one of the babies then passed him to his mother

Mrs Ketchum held her baby and said "You're finally out! Let's see.. a name.. I know! Ash Ketchum will be your name." Mrs Oak then said "My son! Your name will be Gary Oak!" The two mothers then faced each other and smiled

"Delia! Both of us have a son, they should be friends when they grow up!" Mrs Oak said as he held her son in both her arms

Four years later....

The sound of laughter could be heard from two little boys. "Hahaha, Hahaha. Hey Kevin! Wait no I should call you Ash now." said one of the two boys. "Well when we're alone, you can call me Kevin. I'll call you Tom too!"

"Mime?" said a Mr Mime looking at the two boys whilst sweeping dust. "Oh right, Your mom's Mr Mime is here, we can't talk too loud. Are four-year-olds even this fluent in two languages?" Tom (Gary) said to Kevin (Ash)

"Well, back on earth... I know that many children could speak multiples languages, though I don't know how fluent they are and whether it's the same in this world." Ash replied

"Well, your right about that, anyways what Pokemon will you pick? Are you going to pick Pikachu?" Gary asked Ash. "Hmm I don't know, I will for sure have a better team than in the original. I may find one in the wild anyways, maybe with better IV's and nature." Ash replied

"I think I'll go with the fan favourite Charmander, I doubt we can Mega Evolve though since we are in Kanto, but in the Pokemon Origins anime, Red could evolve his Charizard and caught even Mewtwo!" Gary said

"Charmander huh? Maybe both of us can get one,since there will be lots of other kids too. We still have another 6 years to decide though, no rush." Ash replied

In the midst of their conversation, Delia Ketchum says "Hey Ash! Gary! It's lunchtime!". The two boys replied "Ok!" The two boys replied
