Chapter 55 - Sabrina vs Itsuki [ I ]

"Go Hypno" Hypno is a human-like Pokémon with yellow skin. On the top of its head are large, cat-like ears. Its eyes are usually squinted, and lower down. It also has a large nose. On its neck, Hypno has a large white mane, which stretches completely around. Hypno also has human-like arms and hands, which both have five digits. It is also always carrying a small pendulum, which it uses in most of its Psychic based attacks.

"So it's a Hypno."

"Hypno has high defense. Hypno's level is also above my Zera." Itsuki was feeling that Sabrina's second Pokémon level would be at least in level 40 or above. 'I hope my feeling doesn't become true otherwise defeating Sabrina will be difficult.'

'I have to be careful of Hypno's Hypnosis move.'

"Come out Marshadow"

Marshadow resembles a shadow and has a wispy figure. It is predominantly black and seems to be wearing some sort of helmet. The helmet has two horn/ear-like appendages with a wispy smoke in the center. Its eyes are orange-red with an oval on top. Its arms possess a bump on each wrist. Marshadow appears to wearing a collar and its legs have a shadowy trail. It has a tiny mouth.

Sabrina looked at Marshadow carefully. This was actually the first time she had got the chance to look at Marshadow.

"So this the Mythical Pokémon of Alola." Sabrina knew about two mythical Pokémon from Alola as she had done her research on Pokémon from various regions.

Itsuki didn't ask how Sabrina recognized Marshadow because that answer didn't mattered to Itsuki.

'Hypno use Future sight.' Itsuki couldn't hear Sabrina's words since she was communicating with her Pokémon using her Psychic powers.

"Hypno!" Itsuki saw that many stones glowing in light blue and blue color entered 4 portals and disappeared. Itsuki seeing this knew that Sabrina had launched a future sight attack which will be very difficult to counter since he doesn't know when the future sight is going to came.

"Marshadow use Assurance and try to close the distance as he use this move."

"Marshadow!" Two palms charged at Hypno while Marshadow also began to close the distance between them. He can understand what Itsuki wanted him to do.

'Hypno use Psychic beam.'

"Hypno!"

Hypno opened its mouth and a purple colored beam hit the palms created from assurance.

Boom!

The explosion created smoke which prevents both Marshadow and Hypno from knowing their opponents locations.

'Hypno lets use this opportunity to use Poison Gas.'

"Hypno!" A purple gas released in the black smoke. Itsuki and Marshadow felt the black smoke was getting little heavier. Itsuki ordered Marshadow to get back.

"Marshadow retreat back."

After 1 seconds, Itsuki saw that the black smoke was filled with purple smoke which showed the Sabrina had ordered Hypno to use Poison Smoke.

"Marshadow use..... Itsuki couldn't finish his words when 4 portals appeared above Marshadow and hit Marshadow.

Marshadow fall on the ground and coughed lots of blood.

'This is bad. Psychic type attacks have caused Marshadow lots of damage. If we are hit with future sight again then I doubt Marshadow would able to continue.' Itsuki saw that Marshadow head, arms, legs, chest was bleeding.

"Marshadow you okay buddy?" Seeing Marshadow slowly standing up Itsuki smiled.

Sabrina's expression didn't change seeing Marshadow standing up. She was expecting this and preparing for her next attack. Sabrina didn't want to give Marshadow any chance. 'Hypno use Psychic beam again.'

"Hypno!" Another purple lightning like beam was released towards Marshadow.

"Marshadow use copycat." Itsuki's said with a grin. Itsuki didn't use future sight because he wanted to keep this move as a game changing card if something unexpected happens to Marshadow, like now.

Sabrina's cold expression for the first time since starting of this battle also changed to surprise and shock.

"Marshadow!" In the eyes of Marshadow the entire process how Hypno used Psychic beam was repeated again and Marshadow also released a purple lightning beam which hit the original Psychic beam.

Boom!

Again the black smoke spread the battlefield.

'Hypno use Future sight again'

Seeing the portals Itsuki looked at Marshadow and both Itsuki and Marshadow nodded at the same time.

Marshadow entered the balc smoke and disappeared. Since Sabrina heard no words from Itsuki she didn't know where Marshadow was.

But after Hypno used Future sight, Sabrina ordered again.

'Hypno use Poison gas again.' Again purple smoke filled the black smoke. This time Itsuki let Marshadow be affected with poison smoke and approach Hypno.

'Marshadow is not that affected by poison type moves so Marshadow should be fine. But I should have used this move at the beginning.' At the beginning Itsuki was trying to keep his copycat for the later part of the battle.

Marshadow's speed slowed down a little from being affected by the poison smoke.

Sabrina looked at Marshadow who was came out of the poison smoke and was few meters away from Hypno.

'Hypno use Pound!'

"Hypno!" Hypnovs right plam glowed in white light.

Itsuki could see things as the poison smoke was getting thinner as time passed and also Itsuki had enhanced vision due to awakening Aura.

"Marshadow use copycat then you know what to do." Itsuki didn't said the whole thing so that he could surprise Sabrina.

Marshadow also copied and his right glowed brightly.

Boom!

Both Hypno and Marshadow pound moves hit each other then Sabrina was about to order something but she noticed that Marshadow was body was sinking.

.

"What's happening?" Marshadow's body was sinking in Hypno' shadow and in few seconds Marshadow had entered Hypno' shadow.

'Poor Sabrina, she didn't know that Marshadow could hide in shadows which makes him very dangerous opponent.' Itsuki knew that only a few people knew about Marshadow abilities to hide in the shadow since no has seen Marshadow and is considered a myth.

Itsuki was not going to waste time and let Sabrina find Marshadow weakness.

"Marshadow use drain punch."

Marshadow jumped behind Hypno and as his fist fist glowed in red colors Marshadow landed a punch on Hypnosv back and then again disappeared in shadow.

'Drain punch can heal the user according to the damage received by the opponent. Now Marshadow's injuries should be healed by half.' Itsuki smiled feeling that the battle was finally under his control but Sabrina had already thought of another move to counter Marshadow.

.

"Hypno use Hypnosis!' The small pendulum on Hypno's hand began to move back and forth. Seeing this Itsuki became tense and immediately shouted.

"Marshadow close your eyes and don't look at Hypno anymore." Hypno then stopped his attack as his future sight had came.

.

The future sight was directed at Hypno since Marshadow was hiding in its shadow.

Sabrina only very frustrated. She wasn't able to find any weakness of Marshadow and now her own attack was on her.

'Hypno use Psychic Beam.'

All the stones came at Hypno seeing this Itsuki smiled in happiness but then he saw that Hypno using Psychic beam to destroy all the stones of Future sight.

Itsuki was not going to waste a golden opportunity like this to attack Hypno so he ordered Marshadow.

"Marshadow use Sucker Punch." Marshadow jumped out of the shadow and landed another attack at Hypno which caused Hypno to fall down.

"Hypno are you okay?" This time Itsuki heard Sabrina's concerning tone.

'Hypno might have high defense but it doesn't have the ability to continously attack. Hypno looks like he is tired and injured because of the attack.' Itsuki trying to think of a way of ending Hypno and go to the next round.

.

"Marshadow finish this with Assurance." Sabrina hearing Itsuki's also ordered Hypno to use to Pyschic beam.

' Hypno use Psychic beam behind you.' Sabrina saw the pair of eyes which glowed when Marshado is about to attack. By seeing the glowing eyes Sabrina knew from where Marshadow is going to attack.

Marshadow jumped out of the and used to Assurance. But just as he released his attack, a purple psychic beam hit Marshadow. Hypno also got hit with Assurance after releasing Psychic beam.

Boom!

Both Pokémon fell down on the ground. Both Pokémon looked very weak and injured.

.

"Marshadow buddy can you get up?" Itsuki asked.

'Hypno please stand up.' Hearing their trainers voice, both Pokémon stood up at the same time. Both Marshadow and Hypno was in 2 meters distance, near to each other.

.

"Hypno use another Beam." Sabrina didn't use Hypnosis since Marshadow could just use some other attack to finish Hypno. One more attack was enough to finish Hypno.

"Marshadow Copycat again." Itsuki also knew that his Marshadow would fall if he is hit with another attack so both Itsuki and Sabrina was trying to take out each other with this attack.

.

Two purple lightning like beams release in close distance of 2 meters. Both beams hit and exploded.

Boom!

Both Marshadow and Hypno being close to the explosion was affected and lost consciousness with he explosion.
