Chapter 30 - Aura Affinity
"Now let's find what my nature type or which nature my Aura has affinity with. Lucario said that there were 5 basic element for humans."
[Fire, Water, Earth, Lightning, Wind. These are the basic elements that every human has. However there are also some elements which are formed by mixture of these 5 elements in different ratios and temperature. Ice, Sand, wood, magnet, Dust, explosion, Mud, Lava, storm, steel, Mist, Boil, Scorch are some examples of element mixtures in different ratio and temperature. There is also light and dark nature, but the chances having affinity with these two natures is very rare.]

[There is also times when one human possess two more elements. Like there was a man who could use both Fire and water, two opposing elements. There is also a chance that you might awaken your other element after reaching a certain Aura rank.]

[You can tell your elemental affinity by the color of your aura. The color of fire is a mixture of red, yellow, orange and blue. The color of water is blue. The color of wind is white. The color of lightning is blue and white. The color of the earth is gray and brown. Apart from these basic colors, the color of your aura can also be different, for example, bright red, which shows that you have a fire and wind nature. Your aura can also show some characteristics of your nature. For example, Zera has blue electricity in her aura].
[You feel connected to your element when you are near that element. So Zera will feel comfortable around lightning and electricity. A person with lava nature will feel comfortable near fire and earth, because lava is a combination of fire and earth in different proportions].

"Let us try to see what color my aura is." Itsuki sat down and closed his eyes. He focused on his heart, where a person's aura reserves are stored and collected.
What Itsuki saw was a dark blue ball of flame. Itsuki opened his eyes, in which there was a little confusion and doubt.

"Judging by the color, I am naturally a water being, but my aura was burning and I could feel the intense temperature. Light blue represents lightning. It looks like I have the three elements of fire, water, and lightning, but I am not quite sure until I try them." Itsuki got up, gathered some dry wood and made a campfire.

[To test whether you have an affinity for a particular element, you must transfer your aura to that element to see how it responds. If you have no affinity for water, your transferred aura will explode or create shock waves in the water. What reaction the water will have depends on your affinity. If you have a fire affinity and try to transfer aura to water, the water will boil or evaporate.]

After making campfire, Itsuki purposely sat near the fire to see whether the heat from the fire will affect him or not.
Seeing that the temperature was not affecting him, Itsuki was now 50 percent sure that he was fire affinity. Itsuki now went to do the next experiment. Itsuki carefully gathered his Aura in his left palm and transferred the aura in the flame.

When Itsuki transferred his aura in the campfire, the campfire suddenly turned blue. The blue flame caused the temperature to rise rapidly. Itsuki's clothes started burning just from being near the blue flame.
"Wha…
Itsuki moved away and tried to stop the flame from spreading and burning his clothes.

"Wait a minute; my skin can feel the temperature but his not affected by blue flame." Itsuki was confused.
[Because your aura created this flame, this flame cannot harm you. Since you have fire affinity, not just ordinary fire, but mutant flame, which I have never heard of, ordinary flame cannot harm you except to burn your clothes, because your clothes are not part of your body. But if you are attacked by another user of a fire aura, you will be hurt if you do not protect your body with an aura. Your aura has fire affinity and if you cover your body with aura, you will be protected from other fire aura user attacks.]

Itsuki saw the old Lucario walking towards him. "Thank you for everything. You really helped us a lot. I don't know how I should thank you." Itsuki expressed was sincere and pure which touched the old Lucario's heart.

The Lucario smiled and sat next to Itsuki.
[Boy, with my experience I can say that you have no idea of the cruelty of this world. I am not just talking about people. I am talking about bloodthirsty Pokémons. You see, in the deeper part of the forest, there are bloodthirsty Pokémons. The weak ones are hunted down, while the strong ones eat the weak ones just to survive]. Itsuki wanted to say that he knew about it, but Itsuki kept his mouth closed for the moment.

[Do you know that you are very lucky? You live in a age where you have the power to fight Pokémon and capture them. Back in our day, no human used enter the forest because even the weakest Pokémon had the power to kill them. But right now your Pokémon Peace Maintaining Authority is trying their best to keep trainers from dying. Many trainer die when they enter the forest so please be careful.] Itsuki already knew all this but still hearing the last part, made Itsuki smile.

"Are you caring about me?" Itsuki asked. The Old Lucario smiled and said nothing. After few moments of silence, Lucario spoke.
[Itsuki you are good boy but remember when you have power you might lose sight of what's important to you, to the current you.] Itsuki felt confused and didn't understand Lucario's complex words.

[Itsuki, I saw the rise and end of Cameran Palace. But in the last hundred years, I have lost everything. Those cunning humans betrayed us and caused the downfall of Cameran Palace. They also ended the Aura Guardian age. Those humans killed my father and my mother. I, with my own eyes saw the end of Cameran palace. I wasn't able to do anything to save this place from being destroyed something which I regret till this day. If only I had enough power.] Itsuki could feel Lucario's sadness and regret.

[For years, I hid myself and protected his place from other Pokémons. I did not let any other Pokémon to make that their territory. This place is my home and always will be. If you are wondering about Riolu's parents, then I rescued him when a Pokémon salve trader was killed his parents.] Itsuki sighed. He also knew that even if he defeats team rocket, innocent Pokémons like Riolu and Dragonair will suffer because of Slave traders.

Itsuki even heard some rumors saying that Kanto will make legal for Pokémon trainers to sell or buy Pokémons at the Pokémon Center. This method is introduced to give Pokémon trainers an easy way of earning. Itsuki never paid attention to these rumors since he was busy on dealing team rocket.

[Itsuki, this is my request. I want you to take Riolu with you. Riolu is still innocent and has much to do. Riolu needs to explore the world and also take revenge for his parents. Riolu is my adopted grandson, but I love him as much as my real grandson, so please take care of him]. Itsuki nodded.

After talking with Lucario, Itsuki went to train with his Pokémons. Lucario also spend some time with his grandson Riolu. Cynthia and Zera slept for hours and woke up during evening. The whole day Itsuki worked on controlling his Aura outside his body.

Next day, it was finally time to leave Rota behind and continue. Lucario convinced Riolu to go with Itsuki to which Riolu agreed because he too wanted to see the world. Riolu is just a child, he is deeply curious about the outside world. Riolu wanted to see what lies after the forest.
