3 Chapter 3: - Timeskip and New Beginning

Today was my 11th birthday; I was one year older than Ash, who was now 10 years old. Ash already had gotten his own Pokémon and went to a journey few days ago. I waited before I turned 11 because I wanted to take some time to learn about other things in this world. So this year I spend my time on learning about various things like the business, politics, etc.

In this world of Pokémon, Pokémon trainers are considered mature. So I also wanted to do business outside Pallet town and let my father retire and have a peaceful life and also maybe let my parents travel the world. Also it took lots of money to feed Pokémon and including the cost of traveling.

After celebrating my birthday, today I was ready to start my own Pokémon journey.

I was standing in front of my parents. My mother was holding tears in her eyes.

"Son, please take care of yourself. Your father and I are very proud of you. Whatever you want to do, know this that you will be great in it." Itsuki's mother hugged her son. Itsuki knew that he had obtained his handsome look from his mother and his father.

"Mom, I want to enter the Indigo league. Winning the Indigo league will lead me one step closer to achieving my dream."

Itsuki's father felt extremely proud of his son. He patted his shoulder and said.

"Do not spend money carelessly. If you need money then just call me, I have saved lot of money for your future." Itsuki nodded with a smile.

Itsuki is a muscular but lean and handsome young man with light purple eyes, sharp facial features, and neat black hair. From the age of 9 Itsuki had started to train his body which made Itsuki even more handsome, In the past many girls has proposed to this 5 feet 7 inches handsome young man but Itsuki always has rejected them politely.

Itsuki was wearing a light black jacket with red dragon symbol on the back and a black white T-shirt under. A brown drop crotch pants joggers feet hanging crotch which enhanced his handsomeness but several times.

Itsuki arrived in Professor Oak's laboratory. Itsuki often used to came here because he wanted to learn more about Pokémon. Itsuki saw that Professor Oak was waiting for Itsuki outside with a smile.

"Itsuki, I have been waiting for you." Oak took out a poke ball and gave it to Itsuki.

Itsuki already had decided on what kind of Pokémon he wants. Itsuki meet her during the time when he came to Oak's laboratory when he was 10.

Zeraora was only few months old when her trainer threw her away when she lost a battle, at that time Zeraora was very young and did not knew much about her powers. When Itsuki meet her, she was seriously injured and hated humans very much. Itsuki clearly understood her emotions and tired to become her friends.

But something about Itsuki's aura calmed her down. So Zeraora slowly opened up to Itsuki and become friends with Itsuki. Over the last year, Zeraora and Itsuki plated many times. Zeraora was Itsuki's unofficial chosen Pokémon.

Itsuki never thought that Oak would let him get a legendary and a mythical Pokémon as his starting Pokémon. Then again it was Itsuki who found Zeraora injured in the forest. Zeraora also wanted to stay with Itsuki. Over the years both Zera and Itsuki have grown a strong bond.

Zeraora only wanted to follow Itsuki and no one else. She was very naughty when Itsuki wasn't around and made trouble for Oak. Itsuki was the only person she would listen to.

"Zeraora Come out."

Zeraora is a bipedal, feline Pokémon with primarily yellow and black fur. The fur is thinner and black on its lower legs, lower body, upper arms, and face, and is thicker and yellow everywhere else. There is also a zigzagging black stripe on each thigh and two more stripes on each forearm. There are small tufts of light blue fur on its chest and a longer tuft on its forehead. Zeraora also has a single, lightning bolt-shaped blue whisker on each cheek. A long, ponytail-like or tail-like bunch of fur extends from between its shoulders. Zeraora has large ears with black insides and blue eyes. Its forepaws have four clawed fingers and light blue pads, while its hind paws have only three clawed toes.

Zeraora looked at Itsuki with an excited smile. Itsuki nodded with a smile. He too was very excited to start his journey.

"So Itsuki what do you want to become? Will path you will take?" Oak honestly wanted to make Itsuki his assistance. Oak knew that Itsuki was very smart and intelligent. There was times when Itsuki's ideas really helped Oak progress his research. But Oak had no intention of holding his young man with unlimited potential.

"I am going to become a Pokémon trainer and join the Indigo League." Oak nodded as he already knew Itsuki was going to choose this path. Oak said some encouraging words to Itsuki then said goodbye.

"Zera, we are going to Viridian City. Are you ready?" Itsuki decided to call Zeraora as Zera and Zeraora also liked the name.

Zera nodded with a smile.

Itsuki and Zera traveled for the entire day through the forest and decided to make camp under a tree.

Itsuki and Zera on their way met Caterpie, Weedle, Metapod, Kakuna, Beedrill, Rattata, Spearow and the list keeps going. Itsuki didn't want to catch any weak Pokémon even if they look cute. Especially any low level bug type Pokémon so he ignored every Pokémon he met on his way.

Itsuki was more interested in training his Zera.

Itsuki was very excited today as he was suppose to receive gift from God. God was told Itsuki that God would give him a gift when he turns 11. Itsuki had feeling that this gift will be something awesome.

During the midnight,

[Ding! System has been activated. System has three functions. One is inventory; Master can keep any non living objects in the inventory. Second this, System can show the stats of every Pokémon. Third function is currently locked and Master needs to complete a hidden mission to unlock the third function.] Itsuki instantly opened his eyes when he heard the voice in his head. Itsuki was so excited that he couldn't sleep and waited till midnight.

[God has sent some special items for master which has been kept in the inventory. And lastly God wishes Host 'Happy birthday'.] Itsuki wondered what special items God has sent him.

"Having something that could allow me to see the stats of every Pokémon are really useful in Pokémon world." Itsuki thanked god in his heart once and went back to sleep. Itsuki decided to check the system's abilities tomorrow.

Next day,

Itsuki opened his eyes and saw that his partner Zeraora looking at him. Itsuki then noticed a writing above Zera head.

"A Pokémon with Volt Absorb heals 1⁄4 of its maximum HP when hit by an Electric-type attack, including Thunder Wave and since Zera is special, she can even absorb electrical attacks."

Itsuki knew that being able to see all the moves and level of Pokemon is a huge thing. Just with a glance Itsuki would have his opponent information and he would able to come up with perfect plan to defeat his opponent.

In a gym battle, or in pokemon league, having this cheat ability will definitely give Itsuki a huge boost.

"I will be ahead of everyone by few steps. I think now I can finally give Ash a tough challenge." Itsuki's knew that Ash was the main MC of this world so he has the plot armor. Ash is immensely gifted when it comes to Pokemon battle. Many big Pokemon trainers were defeated by Ash.

The reason Itsuki said he would able to give Ash a tough challenge is because Itsuki knows that even with his cheat, the things Itsuki can do will be limited and plot armor will help Ash get powerful pokemons.

In the Konan, Ash had help of Brock and Misty who was already very experienced.

But with all the odds against Itsuki, he still wants to compete against Ash.

"I might not have the power of plot armor but I do have the power of knowledge. I will mark my own legend. We are in a race to see who will become Pokemon master first. I can't also forget about Gary. Being the grandson of Professor Oak, Gary will also have many strong pokemon."

The more Itsuki thought about competing against Ash and Gary, the more excited and motivated Itsuki became.

Zeraora! (Itsuki let's defeat them together.)

Itsuki looked at Zera and both them smiled together.

"Yes, we will mark our legend in this world."
