Alex could not remember when he got this system. He thought that everyone in the Pokemon world had this system but he was proven wrong. When he asked his father what this system really was, his father was aghast and asked, "What are you saying? What system? Did you drink my special juice?".
Axel was also pretty shocked knowing that he was a demi-human.
"Am I a hybrid of pokemon and human?", he thought.
Then he used his only skill 'Identify' to see other people's stats and all other people living in his neighborhood including his parents, sister, and uncle had the same race, which was demi-human.
"I think there is much to the history of the Pokemon world that we know of.", he murmured.
He clicked on the stats tabs and saw the following:

Health :- Hp of the person. The improvement in health suggest increase life expectancy, increase defense and good bodily function.
Agility :- How agile a person is. High agility means improved stamina, high speed and high reaction time.
Strength :- Good strength means good defense and high attacking power.
Intellect :- Intellect suggests good brain power, and good memory.
Aura :- A form of spiritual energy. It is the essence of every living creature.
Leadership :- It measures the way host interact with pokemon, improve their skills and lead them.

He was very impressed with himself when he saw 'Aura' tab in his status.
"So I can be an Aura Guardian in the future.", he realized. He was determined to find a way to be an aura guardian in the future.
Every time he worked out, his stats would increase. Like, if he did jogging then his agility and health would increase. If he practiced boxing and punches, his strength and health would increase. If he read books and did research, his intellect would increase. But the increase in stats became harder over time.
'I wonder how Aura and leadership will increase?', he thought.
He assumed that after he trained his Pokemon, his 'leadership' stat would increase. He had no idea about 'Aura' stat. It was not that he didn't surf the internet but there was little to no knowledge about how to activate the Aura. The Internet just showed that only a handful of lucky people could activate their Aura.
From the age of 5 to his current age, he studied and researched Pokemon and the Pokemon world as much as he could do it. There was a library in his neighborhood that he often visited. And man oh man, did it have knowledge about this world. When he read about the Pokemon world in detail, Research papers, documentaries, and Experiments about Pokemon and its nature, ability, food, and battle moves, he was shocked once again. The Scientific formula of Pokemon biology and its history was very detailed compared to anime and manga.
Axel also did a lot of online courses from Pokemon School and read a lot of articles on his favorite Pokemons like Gengar, Charizard, Pikachu, etc. Admission to Pokemon schools was not compulsory. Many young trainers didn't even think to do it as it was expensive. But Axel insisted his parents do it. Looking at their child's interest in it, they let him do it. The Full course on Pokemon school costs around 200,000 Poke dollars.
Axel also competed on "Rising star", which is a very famous platform for youngsters up to the age of 12. They test these youngsters on knowledge of Pokemon world and Axel came 3rd in the competition. The top 3 Participants of "Rising Star" were eligible to further compete in the Pokemon battle held every 5 years and the winners would get exciting prizes and can become very famous.
He also researched mega evolution and Eevee evolutions in partnership with Professor Bourne in the Hoenn region. At this point in time, mega-evolution had not been discovered. And the only Eevee evolutions were Falreon, Vaporeaon, and Jolteon. All other 5 Evolution of Eevee were not discovered yet.
The research on both projects have not been completed yet but there was some promising result. There were lots of things that have not been discovered in Pokemon world yet. Like z-moves, gigantamax, and many others. But Axel didn't want to concentrate on it right now. He hoped to do it eventually.
"Alright, let's sleep now. Have to wake up tomorrow for my new journey", he said softly and then went to sleep.

Next day,
Tring!! Tring!!….. Tring!! Tring!!, sounded the alarm.
A small hand just grabbed it to shut it down for 10 seconds but was unfortunately unable to. A young boy slowly opened his eyes and shut the alarm.
"Damn, why does this alarm ring so fast?," he said annoyingly. Removing rheum from his eyes with his hands he got up from the bed.
It was 5 a.m. in the morning and Axel was ready for his day. Washing his face and brushing his teeth, he got out of the room to his adjacent room and knock on the door.
Knock.. Knock..
"Dad, wake up.. It is time to go running." Knock.. Knock.. "Dad.. Dad… dad…"Axel shouted.
At that moment the door opened half and a middle-aged man came out. "Alright, don't shout. I will freshen up, your mom is sleeping," said Arron.
"Ok.. I will wait for you outside." Saying that Axel came out of the house and started stretching.
It had always been a custom of Axel and his father to go running up the hill and then eat hot dogs near the lake. The one who woke up last had to clean the dishes in the morning. So Axel was pretty happy to wake up fast and he considered it to be a good day.
After a few moments, his father came outside and they started running up the hill doing small talk. Running in the morning was the reason that Axel's Agility was high at 22. His highest stat was intellect towering at 30, cause of all the studies and research he did. It was also because of his past knowledge from Earth.
"So, excited about today my Son? Did you sleep well yesterday? I remember myself in the past. I was really excited to get my First Official Pokemon. I couldn't sleep the night before" said Mr. Arron.
'Why does no one sleep the night before? Even mom said the same thing.' thought Axel.
"I slept really well, yesterday father. I think it is because of my schedule of sleep at the right time" replied Axel.
"Yes, you and your schedule," said Mr. Arron grudgingly.
It must be noted that Mr. Arron very rarely woke up first. Most of the time it was Axel who knocked on the door. Axel was always smug about it and Mr. Arron always blamed his high work pressure for it.
After 30 minutes of running, they finally reached the top of the hill.

'I think the system is also messing with me.', thought Axel when he saw the system say schedule.
"Ahh.. Finally, it really feels good to sit at the top and stare at the lake" said Mr. Arron reliving all his tension.
"Yeah, I am gonna miss this place." added Axel.
"Yeah, and I am gonna miss these moments. I think I will not do this running after you go."
"Well, it is not like I am going for ever and I don't think mom will let you stop doing this". Mr. Arron sighed when he heard this from his son cause he knew that his son was right. After 10 minutes of silently feeling the morning dew, they started to go down to the lake to eat their hot dogs.
They ate their hot dogs and came home. Axel's mother repeatedly told them to get a shower and after they did, they did some breakfast. For the young trainers, one of their parents was to accompany them to get their starter. For those kids, who are orphans, their relatives or staff of the child care center accompany them.
After getting his bag checked by his mother, our protagonist was finally going to start his journey. He wanted to raise his hand up in the air and shout 'I am coming for you!' loudly like in the anime but he restrained himself as he felt embarrassed. After saying some tearful goodbyes to his mother, sister, and uncle, Axel and his father started their journey.
