Pokemon - A real story

There is a huge gap between the story of anime and the realistic story of Pokemon. This light novel closes that gap and gives the viewers a believable and exciting story with lots of adventure. Follow our protagonist Axel Blaze, a reincarnated person. With his knowledge of the previous Pokemon world, he hopes to dominate the world. But after he realizes how very wrong he was. This novel has a system, just to make things fun, the story is not focused on it though. "Success is like being pregnant, everyone says congratulations but nobody knows how many times you were fucked" So this novel tells the story of Axel blaze but all points of hidden difficulty he has to face to get it to there. -------- If you want to read advanced chapters earlier or just want to support me, you can do that at https://www.patreon.com/TheSilverPrince1 You can also visit my website and read 3 advanced chapters for free at: https://silver-prince.com/ (The story has a similar start as 'Pokemon - a mystical journey' so some people are probably confused. I wanted to say that only the beginning of the story is similar, not the later chapters and this story is not a copy.) Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction novel. So, the basics of the Pokemon world is not created by me. It belongs to "The Pokémon company".

Recovery and Benefits (Edited)

Axel woke up multiple times in the night cause he wanted to meet his Pokemons but he didn't want to disturb them at night. Finally, the morning came. It was 6 am in the morning.

Axel stretched his body and legs. He was now ready to get out of this Hospital. The environment of the hospital and the smell of the medicine all over the place always made him feel uncomfortable. So, he was happy that he was going out. Aina said that his Pokemon were in the barn.

Axel slowly walked over to a barn which took him around 10 minutes. The place was big and Axel's feet had bandages so it took him 10 minutes.

Just as he entered the research center, which was tied to a barn, cute little Bulbasaur noticed him first.

"Bulba… Bulasaur.", it said and started to run towards him. His other Pokemons also came near him to greet him.

"Yes, Bulbasaur, I am good now.", said Axel while Bulbasaur was already in his arm. These Pokemons were very worried that he was in the hospital bed. They all sighed in relief when they saw that he was fine right now.

He greeted all of his Pokemons. Even Gogoat came and asked how he was. He was feeling that he was slowly getting close to it.

"Marcus, I know that you learned 'Shadow jump', but what was that after 'Shadow jump'?" Axel was curious. He had already asked System about it, but it did not respond.

Shedinja just shook its head when it heard the question. Even it didn't know what that was. It tried to replicate it multiple times but was unsuccessful every time.

"Hmm… May be it is a new move. Why don't we first master 'Shadow jump' for some time and then decide to learn that new one?", said Axel with a thinking tone.

Shedinja nodded its head. Shedinja had been practicing 'Shadow jump' for 2 days and had already leveled it up to 4. It was very hard work.

At that moment, Blue and Oak came to the research center too.

"There is our champ, who manages to anger Charizard.", shouted Blue when he saw Axel and Shedinja. Blue gave Axel a bear hug and said

"Congratulations!!!!. You now have officially become the third disciple of my dad. It is not something many people could do. Many have tried but they could not." Bill continued.

Looking at the surprise expression of Axel, Blue continued "Yes, do you think that you, me, and Red are the only 3 that gave that test? There were many more to do it."

"Then what happened to them?", asked Axel.

This time Oak replied, "Obviously all of them failed. None of them was my choice. Almost all of them were recommended by gym leaders of the Kanto region and some of them were recommended by the league."

"But you are a Pokemon master. Can they force you into such things?", asked Axel in a surprised voice.

"They cannot but a Pokemon master also have their responsibility. I was not finding anyone suitable until I met you and I am getting old for this job. I would have already retired if there were some suitable candidates from the Kanto region.", said Oak in a tired voice.

Axel knew what this was. This was politics. Bad and dirty politics. Looking at Oak's face, Axel realized that being a Pokemon master was not an easy job.

"Anyways, I directly wanted to nominate you as my successor but I could not. Since I tested all of the candidates I also must test you for fair play. But you succeeded so congratulation on that."

Axel nodded his head when he heard it. He was feeling a bit proud at this moment.

"But this doesn't mean that you have become a Pokemon master. There may be others in your generation who are far more capable than you. You have just become my successor and now can receive a benefit that my successor can. This would tremendously help you in your journey but hard work and determination must come from you.", said Oak.

Axel nodded his head again. Oak continued "Seriously if someone else became a Pokemon master in your generation, I am literally going to kill you. I am putting my name in line by calling you, my successor kid."

Blue could see a twitch on Axel's face. He smiled a bit when he saw that.

"Now, coming to the benefits that you would receive. There is not much to care about actually. There..."

"Seriously, so I did this impossible test just to gain almost nothing?", shouted Axel. He had a lot of expectations from Oak's reward.

"That is how I would like to start my sentences. Do you have a problem with that? Kids of this generation do not even know how to respect elders and let them complete their sentences first.. Hmph..", said Oak.

Blue knew that the benefits that Axel would get would be much more than Axel expected and his dad just wanted to show off my starting a conversation like that. So, Seeing Axel and Oak's reaction, he was laughing out loud.

"Cough… cough.. Now let me start again. The benefits. First of all, I will announce to the whole world that you are my successor. This has risks and benefits. The risk would be that many challengers may come to challenge you and may also want to personally harm you. I didn't become a Pokemon master by not gaining any enemies.

The benefit would be that you would be recognized as my successor. So, the league and the gym leaders would favor you in a lot of things. This would help you a lot and small illegal organizations would not dare to harm you too.

The next Benefit would be the resources. You would not be directly gaining any resources from me. I want you to work hard for it. But you would have many chances to get those. Like, if there are high-quality evolution stones, you would have a good chance to get them. You would also have a chance to explore unknown lands which is, in my opinion, the best benefit that you will receive.

The next Benefit would be the castle. A castle would be built here in these lands for you. This would also be your home and you could also bring your parents to live here. They do not have to work in their lifetime and would receive free basic services like food, clothing, and other necessary things."
