S4E22: Hearthrome

This both amazed and shocked CrasherWake and thus he treated both Foxx and Fantina to dinner so they could talk. Foxx and Fantina then stayed the night in Pastoria leaving first thing in the morning heading north. It took them about a day and a half to reach Hearthrome to which Fantina just went to her home in the back of the gym while Foxx went to find himself a hotel room for the next few days as he waited for Dawn and ash to arrive.

After getting settled in Foxx began to walk around the town in search of something for dinner and then just checking out all of the shops the town as a whole. It wasn't exactly like the towns or cities of Kanto as it have a complete fashion based vibe to it which was nice. It was as he stood admiring the city that some thugs came up to him and circled him. Maybe he was wrong, maybe they too had criminal teams here too.

"Give us all your goods kid along with your pokemon and no one gets hurt too badly." chucked the one who seem to be the leader of this band of these Team Galactic grunts. Maybe not the main leader but at least an officer.

"If you think to scare me know this that I've battled worse then thee." replied Foxx as he looked for an escape just in case things got a little extra difficult.

"That may be so but have you fought eight full grown adults at one time along with their pokemon?" asked the Team Galactic Officer with a smug grin.

"I've crushed the gym leaders of six different regions and I've only been traveling for a little over one year. Not to mention the United destruction I caused to the criminal organization known as Team Rocket just by myself alone." boldly declared Foxx as he glared into the eyes of the Team Galactic Officer and even began to grin as he could see just the slightest hint of fear flicker in his eye. "I am the son of two of the greatest pokemon trainers to walk the ground of the Kanto Region, and was raised by Professor Samual Oak of Kanto. Many have tried to land a victory over me only to fail utterly."

"Words mean nothing you runt. This isn't the Kanto Region so you could say anything and there is no one here to vouch for you. I think in truth your parents didn't want you and left you on an old geezer's door step and now you've ran away from the pathetic life and looser parents you had in hopes of the perfect dream life here." chuckled the Team Galactic Officer with a grin as he looked at Foxx waiting for a response and when he didn't get one he added, "I bet your mother was just a hoe and you father a bum thus making you a…"

The Team Galactic Officer was cut off as Foxx landed a hard left hook right to his jaw breaking it in three places causing him to let out a scream. As for Joy she released a ring of fire around Foxx to keep the Team Galactic Grunts back. With a yell they all jumped back away from the flames before tossing out; three glameows, two zubats, and two wurmples. They started to bombard Joy with attack to which Foxx also sent out eevee to help her yet they were not yet strong enough to hold them back yet he didn't wish to risk revealing his full hand just yet.

As for the Team Galactic Officer he slowly stood back to his feet painfully holding his jaw as blood trickled from his lip. The grunts' pokemon were slowly overwhelming eevee and Joy thus Foxx also sent out Umbreon to help which even it up a little bit more yet it was still a struggle. Now since Joy also had to focus more on battling the enemy pokemon that she had to release the wall of fire that was keeping Foxx safe.

This allowed two of the Team Galactic Grunts to charge in and tackle Foxx to the ground quickly followed by two more of them so two could hold him down while the other two pounded on him. Joy was about to aid him when he ordered her to knock out the enemy pokemon first. The Team Galactic Officer just grinned as Foxx struggled against the four grown adults while his pokemon struggled to fight off the enemy pokemon as well as the remaining three Team Galactic Grunts.

Joy made eye contact with Foxx just as he was slowly begging to weaken and no longer fight and was about to give up. Now Joy wasn't going to have any of that she shot a glare at Meowlth who'd snuck off and hide once he saw them coming. Thus with a sigh he rushed over to their side while Joy used a psychic abilities to pull out two more pokeballs, one was ponta and the other one was pidgey. This gave Joy a chance to try and come to Foxx's aid.

Just then an odd static started to fill the air around both the Team Galactic Grunts, Foxx and all of their pokemon. It made Joy freeze and look around for the cause to which eevee made eye contact and just shook her head no. Then the sky light up in a almost deafening crack followed by a stream of of lightning that quickly branched off striking each of the Team Galactic Grunts as well as the Team Galactic Officer and all of their pokemon.

With a snapping boom the area was filled with a quick flash and then smoke. Joy was still looking around trying to find the source yet nothing except for the slight memory of hearing something just before this all happened. As for Foxx he was slowly loosing consciousness yet before he did he could fell the hair on his arms standing on end as the static energy began to form around them and the last thing he heard before passing out was a load and distinct cry.

"PIKACHU!"
