S3E15: A Boat To Catch

After defeating Koga and getting the final Kanto Region Gym Badge, the Soul Badge, Foxx and the others went over to the Pokecenter to heal up his Pokémon again before finding a boat to Pallet Town. Now this was a bit of a task since Fuchsia City wasn't really a port city and most people who traveled between it and either Chinabar Island or Pallet Town either swam or road on a Pokemon. Yet non of them had a Pokémon large enough for the four of them to ride nor could everyone swim that far or really at all. Thus the hunt for a boat.

Foxx, James and Meowlth went one way while Dawn and Jessie went another. He figured it'd be best to have either him or dawn with one of his parents since he's heard of their purchase history especially when unsupervised. Last thing he needed was them being conned into a false hope because his parents to tend to be a bit gullible.

So for the most part Foxx was too busy keeping his father and Meowlth from spending money they didn't have to keep an eye out for a boat of some kind thus meant it was up to the girls.

Thus we shift over to the beach where Dawn, Jessie and even Joy were all strolling along the beach talking and enjoying the view. That is until a group of four sailors approached them with huge grins.

"What's two young girls like yourselves doing out here all by yourselves? You need a man to keep you safe around here didn't you know." called one of the sailors as he checked out both girls.

"Well for starters I'm only ten and you're way too old for me, and second my friend here has a boyfriend?" snapped Dawn only to pause and look at Jessie when she asked, " or are you two actually married?"

"Not married but still very close and I'd say he' my boyfriend." replied Jessie as she carefully looked around for any sign of the others.

"Yet he's not here with you." replied a second Sailor as he placed a hand on Jessie which is what lead to Joy leaping up and bitting his arm and him yelling, "Ah get this filthy thing off of me."

Then one of the sailors grabbed Joy by the throat forcing her to let go of the other sailor at which point he slammed her on the ground before throwing her into the deep water. Without even thinking Dawn kicked the sailor in the groin before running into the water and swimming out to try and save Joy who was to weak to swim and started to go under. At the same time Joy mentally called out to Foxx for help and to say goodbye.

This caused Foxx to grab both his father and Meowlth by the ear and snap, "The girls are in trouble les go!"

Meanwhile one of the sailors was on the ground holding his groin while the other three where trying to paw all over Jessie who dropped her Pokeball releasing Arbok who looked at her confused for a moment before it pushed its way between one of the sailors. As for Dawn she'd made it to Joy and was now trying to swim back with her and trying to keep her head above water.

Just then as one of the sailors put his hand around Jessie's throat James tried to defend her by punching him in the face only to recoil in pain and now Jessie, James and Arbok where backed up to the water and the fourth sailor had regained his footing as he laughed, "This pathetic man is your boyfriend."

"Yah and I'm their son! You will regret that you laid a finger on them or my Vulpix!" growled Foxx as he charged at the four sailors who'd turned to see who it was only to laugh as they saw this kid running at them.

That is until Eevee leaped from behind them and blasted them with a powerful thundershock just before Foxx reached them and struck each of them in the gut before elbowing them in the jaw. In the end it took both Jessie and James as well as Arbok and Officer Jenny to pull the angry tear eyed Foxx off of them.

"What's going on here?" asked Officer Jenny once they pulled Foxx off of he sailors who were moaning in pain.

"These sailors were being forceful with me and..." started Jessie before looking around for Dawn who was just now exiting the water soaked with Joy laying limp in her arms barely breathing. Jessie then sighed before adding, "Dawn at which my son's Vulpix attacked one of them which lead to another one of them grabbing her slamming her against the ground before throwing her int the sea. Dawn there then went after her since the little vulpix was in no shape to swim."

"That's when me and our son rushed over to help. His Eevee used thundershock before he attacked them at which point you showed up. You have to understand Officer Jenny that this Vulpix here and Foxx have been friends for years and are closer then most trainers and their friends." explained James as he tried to calm Foxx down.

"Well miss you get that pokemon to the Pokecenter right away I'll deal with these sailors. As for the rest of you get him somewhere he can calm down and then we can discuss what to do next." ordered Officer Jenny before having some of her officers arrests the sailors while Dawn rushed Joy to the Pokecenter and Jessie and James lead Foxx to a calm part of the beach and tried to get him to relax by distracting him from the task at hand.

Thus Foxx sat and watched the sun set while working on a custom Pokeball for Dawn while she sat bed side of Joy in the Pokecenter. As for Jessie she stayed with Foxx while James was with Officer Jenny working out details for what had happened and what was going to be done about it.
