Chapter 8 : Gym battle (part 2)

(3rd POV)

After being hit by water gun Onix got angry and attacked Squirtle by his tail

" Squirtle dodge " Gary shouted

By an inch of difference Squirtle dodged from Onix

"Squirtle use aqua tail " Gary commanded

"Onix use tackle " Brock commanded

*Boom*

Explosion happened from the attack of both Pokemons

Both pokemons were lookin injured

Gary: "Squirtle use Aqua ring "

(The user of Aqua Ring surrounds itself with a veil of water, which restores 1⁄16 of its maximum HP at the end of each turn.)

Squirtle was surrounded by a veil of water

Brock and onix got shocked by seeing veil of water covering Squirtle and restoring its health

Brock : " Good move "

Girls : "Gary, Gary, he's our man. If he can't do it, no one can! Go...Gary!".

Gary didn't wait for time and commanded

Gary : "Squirtle skull bash"

Onix was hit hard from the move and got confused

Once again squirtle got covered from veil of water and recovered its health

Brock : "Onix use rock tomb "

Gary : "Squirtle use water gun "

Squirtle water gun didn't have any effect on rock tomb

Seeing that Squirtle despaired facing hundreds of rocks

Gary shouted "You can do it Squirtle"

Girls : " You can do it Squirtle "

Hearing all the cheering something awakened inside Squirtle and he unconsciously used a great water type move which was 'Hydro Pump'

Facing a strong Hydro pump Onix was critically hit and fainted

Referee : " Onix has fainted winner is squirtle , Gym leader Brock is defeated the winner is challenger Gary Oak "

Girls cheered loudly : "Gary, Gary, he's our man. If he can't do it, no one can! Go...Gary!".

(Gary POV)

I suppressed my urge to shout and went near and hugged him and spoke " You were great out there my little champ and even learned a new move "

Girls ran to me and Squirtle and hugged us .

Seeing 6 girls on me I saw Brock getting irritated

Suppressing urge to shout at me Brock came and gave me a grey colored batch which was mfirst badge as 'Boulder badge'

Seeing my badge all girls and Squirtle had stars in there eyes

Brock said" You are a great trainer Gary from my point of view you can become one of the best "

his eyes moved towards Squirtle and he said " Your Squirtle is a great and unique pokemon you have to cherish it "

I smiled and said nothing

I called back my Squirtle and went towards Pokemon center

//At Hotel//

After coming back from Pokemon center we organized a party

Girls gave me a gift ina box which I think they bought when I was handing my pokemons to nurse joy.

I opened the gift box and saw it was a badge case

Gia said to me " Gary we all know you will win all the badges so we thought of gifting you a case "

then stuck out her tongue playfully

That night was also intense because of adrenaline rush from wining first gym battle .

//Next day//

I transferred my Scyther to Grandpa as I can own only 6 pokemons at the moment and wanted to catch 3 pokemons on Mt . moon .

For why I Sycther was selected was simple as it is a mature Pokemon and can do training in pallet town and didn't need my attention .

We all seven sat in the car and moved towards Mt. moon

Reaching Mt . moon took lot of time due to having bad road and the time we reached it was already lunch time .

We all prepared lunch for our pokemons and ourself .

By the time we were preparing I saw two pokemons eating berries one was purple and other was blue they were male and female nidoran respectively .

Seeing these two I remembered match of ash and Gary in johto league when Gary use nidoqueen .

I took action on two of them by attacking them with pikachu and squirtle .

After having a quick battle I captured them and made them familiar with my and girls pokemons .

They were scared at first but after lunch both were happily jumping around with other pokemons .

After lunch I came to a decision and asked Squirtle to give everstone back .

As soon everstone left its body it started glowing .

Seeing Squirtle glowing a reaction happened from spearow and it also started glowing .

After the glow faded we observed two new pokemons which were Wartortle and Fearow.

*FEA*FEAR*

Both of them shouted happily and were cpngratulated by the pokemons , me and girls .

I smirked at girls and said "Now my pokemons are also evolved "

On which girls laughed
