Chapter 1

???:" Oh... Hey, there!" A stoic voice rang out," Let me introduce myself, I am Lucy [Error]" Lucy's voice echoed throughout the black void of eternal darkness, " I'm a Pokémon ranger , and this is my story."

Early in the morning, on a Friday, a young girl with about shoulder length black hair was packing her bags after 'convincing' her parents to send her to a 'Goth camp' that lasted for a few years. Lucy wears something a bit different from what she usually does. She was wearing a gray t-shirt and black shorts.

Lucy doesn't pack much as the 'Goth School' provides almost everything, but Lucy was taking some normal clothes like hoodies, shirts, pants, stuff like that but she was leaving out the dresses, they were not very... needed where she was going.

Lucy glances towards the readers, before slightly smiling and putting her pointer finger over her mouth, making a shushing noise. Lucy glanced at her 'older sister' who was snoring away without a care in the world. 

Shaking her head, she grabs her suitcase and exits ,what used to be, her room. Once she closes the door she turns back to the readers, " Hey, I know what you might be thinking, 'where are you going and why did you pack a suitcase?', but you'll find out soon. Talk to you guys later." The black hair girl says before heading down the stairs. 

Once she was downstairs she was met with a tired Rita Loud waiting by the door, it was around 4 in the morning. The flight that Lucy had to catch is around 5:10. Rita was the one that was driving Lucy to the Airport, Lynn Sr refused saying that he needs the sleep for his job, Lori needs the sleep for school and Leni might just forget that she is taking Lucy to the airport.

" Lucy, are you sure you wanna go to this place? It seems pretty far." Rita says as she heads out the door to vanzilla. 

Lucy sighs," Yes, besides I could always call you guys. " It was a lie, Lucy slightly regretted it but hoped that in the future that at least a few members of the loud family would come to their senses sometime in the future. Lucy hops in vanzilla, and glances out the window as vanzilla drives.

The drive was quite silent as Rita didn't know what to talk about with Lucy, Rita had never really talked to Lucy one on one.

To Lucy the drive to the airport was quite short. Lucy was kind of glad that the ride was short, Lucy exited the car once Rita had parked vanzilla. 

Rita:" Bye Lucy, I wish I could have seen you off, but I need to get back to the others, it's already 4:55. The others need the car for work and school." Rita had a bad feeling but shrugged it off as she had to get home before the others woke up. Lucy nodded and waved goodbye as she hurried into the airport.

After walking around looking for the scouter Lucy spots a girl her age with short light green hair and purple eyes. The girl was wearing a black shirt with matching pants, she had a black mantle and a brown hat. She looked like she was foreign. Lucy averted her eyes to continue looking for the scouter for the ranger school. 

Unbeknownst to Lucy, the girl with light green hair had turned to look at her. The girl stared at Lucy, deep in thought. She sees Lucy approach a man that was dressed in a Pokémon Ranger outfit. " Collei, what are you staring at?" A feminine voice ranged out from behind, the now named, Collei. The voice caused the girl to jump in surprise, turning to face who the voice came from.

"Amber!'' Collei loudly whispered, trying not to draw attention to the both of them. Amber raised an eyebrow, why was Collei so surprised? Collei knew she was right next to her as they had a conversation a few minutes before she lost Collei's attention.

Amber glanced to where she saw Collei staring at and saw a girl with jet black hair that was covering her eyes. The girl looked like someone Amber had met before.

Amber:" Huh. She looks like someone I know, but I can't remember who." Amber said as she put her knuckle near her chin, deep in thought like how Collei was. Though she was going near Rengoku, so she might be a future Pokémon ranger.

Back with Lucy, she had found the Ranger recruiter, the man was wearing a ranger outfit, though Lucy spotted a weird red and white small orbs attached to his belt. Though she shrugged it off, people have weird fashion tastes and she wasn't one to judge. 

Lucy:" You are the scouter for the ranger school right?" Lucy questioned, causing the man to turn to her. The man looked at Lucy with a friendly smile. It almost blinded Lucy as she reeled back a bit.

Man:" Why yes! I am. My name is Rengoku! You must be Lucy!" The man said. He had yellow hair and red highlights. He seemed to be energetic, it reminded Lucy of someone.

Lucy on the other hand became shocked. How did Rengoku know her name? Was he given a list or did he do a background check on her? Lucy felt a little bit paranoid since she found out that Lisa put cameras almost everywhere in the house, including the bathrooms!

Lucy:" How did you-" Lucy was cut off by the sound of two people running up behind her. They didn't seem in a hurry but they seemed to also be meeting up with Rengoku. 

Female:" Sorry we are late! We got a bit distracted." A cheerful female voice rang out as Lucy looked towards the two behind her.

There was a girl with brown hair with a red ribbon that looked like bunny ears. The girl was wearing a red sweater and blue jeans. There was also another girl. It was the girl that Lucy saw earlier.

Lucy stayed quiet and zoned out as the two girls were talking with Rengoku. To be honest she was tired, both mentally and physically from her siblings as well as her father.

She could barely see as is. With her father forcing her to grow her bangs out because her eyes were different from everyone else's. Heck her brother's eyes were black but they let it pass as dark brown eyes.

Lucy closed her eyes and leaned against a nearby wall, trying to figure out how this was going to go. She became on the verge of falling asleep, toning out any talking she heard. Soon falling into a small nap, somehow still standing up and leaning against the wall.

Soon she felt someone shake her shoulder gently, waking her up as she stopped leaning against the wall. She slightly moved her bangs out of her face to rub her eyes with her forearm, with a small yawn.

She let her bangs fall back over her face and opened her eyes. Seeing that Rengoku was the one that woke her up. She was slightly dazed as Rengoku led Lucy to the airplane, Lucy didn't care she was tired as it was still early in the morning and she hadn't slept for 24 hours so she was dead tired. Luckily her bangs covered her eyes, so no one would be able to see the eyebags Lucy has.

Once seated, Lucy was wondering why people like the window seat so much as she looked out the window. Maybe it was the view? Who knows. Lucy was tapped on the shoulder. Looking at who tapped her shoulder she noticed it was the girl with brown hair and the ribbon that looked like bunny ears.

Lucy:" Do you need something?" The brown haired girl nodded with a smile, Lucy slightly closed her eyes because the girl's smile was too bright for Lucy. Lucy wasn't annoyed though, she was happy to be around someone bright for a little while, not that she would ever admit it to anyone.

Brown haired female:" Yeah! Your name." Lucy was dumbfounded as she never had a random person ask her name in a few years. The last time was with Haiku but she was also a goth and wasn't freaked out by Lucy wearing almost all black as she was also a goth.

Lucy:" My name is Lucy, just Lucy." She was glad it was only one other person sitting in her row, she was also glad that there was not a baby on this flight. No one wants to deal with a crying baby on a ten hour flight.

Brown haired female:" My name is Amber, a Pokémon Ranger in training." Lucy tilted her head at the word Pokémon. Was it a videogame? A movie perhaps? It also sounded like a job, was that what Lucy was really getting into when she signed up for being a ranger?

Lucy:" Pokémon?" Amber paused, did Lucy not know what Pokémon are? Did she never visit any of the Pokémon regions?

Amber:" Do you not know what Pokémon are?" Lucy shakes her head." Let me explain what Pokémon are." Amber said as she pulled out a weird red phone thing. Showing it to Lucy, it had strange creatures on it, Lucy thought it was cool. 

This was the day where Lucy's whole world would fall apart in confusion. Though that really didn't matter, as she would get used to it eventually. With some help and guidance of course!
