34: Aftermath.

Leo noticed that seadra's speed had slowed down, this was possibly due to fatigue after letting out such a powerful move, not only that, the clash with gyarados's waterfall had made it use even more strength.

"Seadra push through, finish it with water gun" Leo said calmly, this battle was basically in his plams, he doubted gyarados could attack again.

"F*ck you, get up you stupid snake" The pirate captain roared as he noticed no reaction from gyarados, it was probably already knocked out, it's injuries from fighting the lapras and the tentacruel played a huge role in it being defeated by that dragon breath.

"Is this how you treat a Pokémon, especially after it fought so hard for your sorry ass" Leo glances coldly at the pirate captain.

"Shut the f*ck up, what bullshit about how to treat Pokémon? I'm its master and it's my servant" The pirate captain roared back, completely ignoring Leo.

"Dumbass"

"Return gyarados" The pirate captain said anxiously, but his pokeball wouldn't be able to retrieve gyarados as it's body was submerged underwater, only if it came out could he return it.

Seadra returned under Pidgeotto and nodded towards Leo, signaling that the job had been done.

"That wasn't so easy now was it" Leo smiled at Seadra who looked a bit exhausted.

"Don't worry Pidgeotto and I can take care of ourself, swim back to the cruise ship and tell them to come here" Leo communicated with Seadra from above the air, these pirates had to be arrested, and he couldn't do it alone there were too many of them.

Hearing this, the pirate captain paled slightly, he grew anxious before pulling out a gun from his coat.

"Hahah, you better come down and kneel before daddy here or I'll blast holes through you and that dumb bird" he said as his eyes twitched.

Bang!!

The pirate captain was actually so scared of Leo that he had unconsciously pulled the trigger, aiming directly at Pidgeotto.

Swoosh!!

The wind howled as Pidgeotto Swiftly moved higher in the air, it was like a flash of light as the gunshot missed.

"W-what?" Although The pirate captain didn't mean to shoot, and only wanted to scare Leo, he hadn't expected that pidgeotto to actually dodge it.

"You even pulled out a gun?" Leo was startled a bit and couldn't help but sweat, he couldn't even react fast enough to tell Pidgeotto to do anything, if Pidgeotto hadn't reacted on instinct then he would have definetly been shot.

"Damn, I forgot that guns and machines like that were a thing, this world truly is scary" Leo took a while to calm down, but his heart was shaking, this was his first time even being this close to a gun other than next to police officers, and even worse, it had fired towards him.

Seadra has just informed the guard team on the cruise ship, they let out eggs of relief and began to calm down, but after hearing that gunshot, their faces paled once again.

"Jessy, take a few guards and go bring out the guns, also tell the captain to immediately sail towards Leo" jake's eyes grew cold as he gazed into the distance, it was hard to see, but it seemed like Leo was okay since the faint figure of him atop the Pidgeotto had changed positions in the air.

It wasn't long before the cruise ship got closer, followed by Seadra who quickly made it right under pidgeotto.

"F*ck, that was my last bullet" The pirate captain thought in fear, he had been planning to return to vermillion city to buy some new bullets anonymously, his bullets had all been wasted while looting a small island and even killing a few people with his crew members, they were already wanted by the whole Pokémon league by now.

In the end the pirates were all captured by the cruise ship's guard team and put in some specially prepared rooms, after informing their headquarters about the situation, everything calmed down.

They had even found gyarados's body and placed it inside a pokeball, it was heavily injured and would most likely be sent to the league, a professor or some Pokémon master who could take care of it.

Jake and jessy had both personally came to thank Leo for his help, they also clearly admired his strength.

Leo didn't talk much about his strength to Alissa and her friends, afterall even he could only blame the system, the mastermind behind it all, he clearly knew that there was no way that his bullshit training routines had made his Pokémon that strong.

He could only tell them that, Seadra and Pidgeotto Weren't his strongest Pokémon, which left them in shock for a long time.

Leo then informed his parents about what happened, it was good to let them know now before they found out somehow and nagged him about it all week.

"Seems like we are going back earlier than expected" Stephan laughed, but the atmosphere wasn't good.

After today's situation, they had swore to train their Pokémon, even the previously lazy Alissa had a sudden fighting spirit and couldn't wait to continue her journey.

"I wish you all luck on your journey" This was all Leo could say, he himself had a journey of his own which he could only take with his Pokémon.

"I really wonder what the future holds for me" Leo thought as he gazed at the setting sun, it made the calm beautiful sea look like a magical sight.

Been getting some complaints on instagram that I should just make one big chapter instead of 3-5 small chapters that would just amount to one chapter.

Which I have to say I agree with this, so from now on chapters will be bigger.

Probably over 1000+ words or more depending on how much I write that day.
