24 Growth (2)

As John started a new day, he created another Greatball. When he tried to make another one though, he wasn't able too. 'Damnit I hate it when this happens, I must have gotten lucky yesterday.'

After about 5 minutes John calmed down. 'There is no use in being mad over it, I knew that there would be some waste.' After John confirmed that, he started to look at how his Pokémon where doing.

After looking around and finding no problems John walked around the city again. He visited the Pokémart and bought some equipment for himself and his Pokémon. He had plenty of money due to saving it all and not having to buy his Pokémon food.

He bought 3 things. A D rank uniform for himself, a E rank bracelet that increases Psychic energy for Hecate and a D rank bracelet to boost physical attacks. The E rank bracelet was the most expensive due to it having Psychic energy. That is the reason why John could only get a E rank, if he went for a D rank one, it would cost over twice what he currently had.

As John wanted to make Hecate as strong as he could, the D rank bracelet will the next thing he buys. Although it might seem a bit stupid when there are many other Pokémon in his space, he only had two of the around 100 in his space.

He decided that to avoid to much suspicion that it would be better to only get some equipment for those sorts of types, instead of a bug type or something.

As soon as John finished at the Pokémart he went back to his units area and slept.

6 months later

--------------------

John woke up to the sound of other waking up. Unlike last time when they had to outside the walls, the unit was much less worried as they had already experienced what it was like. Even though the area they are going is new, they had received training for the mountains.

As soon as they woke up they had breakfast and walked towards the city gate. Just like last time they waited for the Instructors and Trainers to arrive. They didn't have to wait long either as they showed up after about 5 minutes.

"Alright Bremick unit 81, although you have already been through this once before there are going to be some changes. First one, instead of having to hunt a low Bronze-stage Pokémon, you will have to defeat a high Bronze-stage one."

"Secondly, the groups will be changed and you will all hunt individually and will have a competition to see who can kill the most Pokémon. The winner of the competition will be awarded with a Pokémon that has gold-stage parents. You will be able to pick the type but that is it."

"And with that, you will now be going outside the walls again."

After the speech was given, many people were excited to see what they could do in the competition. John was excited especially because even if they give him a Pokémon with green potential, it will be upgraded to Blue and best of all, he could pick the type.

The Pokémon he has now are mainly Flying, Bug and Fire types. Although as soon as the Magikarps evolve he will have about 20 Gyarados's, although they might not be the best, after a while they will start producing eggs and the potential will get better and better.

In each generation, most Pokémon develop the same potential as there parents while a few get better or worse. If the second generation Magikarp hatch with Yellow Potential, that means it gets upgraded to blue. Then the same process repeats until it gets to purple.

That is why John is not worried about having a lot of low quality Pokémon that can evolve into monsters.
