Peace jolted as felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see who was behind her and who she saw was one of the most beautiful people she had ever seen -- red hair, red short dress, red stiletto shoes and a hot blazing red lips. Could it be that the woman that stood before her was obsessed with the color red? But whatever it was, she looked absolutely stunning in it. It wasn't just about her attire, her bodily features were heavenly - she had just the perfect height, straight legs and a little bit of curves and of course those popping boobs that was half displayed on her chest.
"You must be one of our new employees." The lady said to Peace with smiles on her face.
"Yes." Peace replied, though she had no idea who this woman was but by her outlook, she could tell that the woman was of great importance in that club -- it wasn't just about the way she dressed but the grace with which she carried herself with and stood before her.
"You are welcome to the Santana club. This is one of the biggest night clubs in the city... If not the biggest." She boasted. "Anyways, my name is Red, nice to meet you." She brought out her hand for a handshake and Peace took it.
"The pleasure is all mine, Miss Red."
Now that made sense, she thought. The lady said that her name was Red and that was enough to explain why everything she wore was red in color. Although what Peace wasn't sure of was if the name Red was really her birth name or a nickname. It's not like it mattered anyways, who bears their real name in the club anyways? Even some people outside, especially those in the Entertainment Industry, didn't go by their real names but rather by stage names. So whatever it was, if she said her name was Red then her name was Red and she was going to address her by it and as for her, she had no intentions of changing her name. She was going to continue bearing her real name.
Red who was all smiles and friendly then glanced at her from head to toe briefly and then said to her. "Now onto the next part, I can say that you are very beautiful. Turn around for me please."
Peace was confused about that as she didn't quite understand how working as a bartender had anything to do with her being checked out. Was looks also a part of their modus operandi? Either way, she did as she was told and waited for Red to tell her what she needed to hear.
Instead of a response, Peace saw a curved out smile from Red's lips and before she could ask any question, Red went towards one direction which was obviously not leading to the dancehall as the sound from the dancehall came from the right.
"Follow me." Red said to her as she walked towards God-knows-where. Peace followed her silently but at the same time, she wanted to ask her where she was going. Was she supposed to ask that in a night club? Of course she was here to walk and maybe Miss Red was trying to take her to see the boss of that place or give her a working uniform.
For every corridor, they walked along, they cut through directions and kept taking turns upon turns and it was at that moment that Peace knew how big the club was inside. But what seemed to confuse her a bit was the fact that Red, who acted all friendly and cozy with her, seemed a little bit out of it. She was expecting her to converse with her as they walked or better still chip in to her where they were going because this place didn't seem to have an end but instead, they were both silent throughout and the only thing that she could hear was the sound of her shoes.
While Peace was still thinking and wondering about these things, they finally came to a halt at a door and Red knocked twice before opening the door.
"Come in." Red said to Peace and she followed her into the room. The first thing that welcomed Peace was the red lit up room. By her sides were cushions which she couldn't identify their color because of the red light, there was a mural on the wall by her left side. It was a man with beards which resembled Rick Ross but she knew that that wasn't Rick Ross. Maybe that was the owner of this club, she thought to herself. There was no one inside and she wondered what exactly they were doing in that room since there was no one there.
"Ash I'm here." Said Red to only God-knows-who. Even Peace wanted to be sure that she didn't follow a mad woman inside a room only to be calling out to no one but to her surprise, a curtain was opened on its own and she could see a man seated at the edge of the bed concluding with his cigarette with some girls who were scattered all over the bed sleeping. Peace surprised, stared at the man and the entire sight before her. How could she not have noticed that there was a curtain in front of her the whole time? And it was as the curtain opened that she was able to take note of how large that room was. To her it seemed as if everything in Santana Club was big but how would she know? She just got here and was yet to discover more things about the place.
The man stood up from his bed and walked straight to where they were standing. Up close, Peace could see that he resembled the man in the mural, in fact the man that stood before them looked like Rick Ross but Rick Ross seemed to be bigger than him in size.
"Hello, Ash."
"Hello, Red." Ash hugged her and slightly squeezed her ass cheeks while staring at Peace who was standing behind her. "Is she the one that you have chosen?"
"Yes. She is the perfect one for the job." Red replied.
Peace had never been more confused than she was at this moment. What did the so-called Ash mean by chosen? And what does Miss Red mean by she is perfect for the job? Was she referring to the bartender job or was there any other thing they were referring to?
Ash sensed the discomfort around Peace and then walked up to her. "You don't have to be afraid of anything. Nobody is going to sell you here. You applied for the job of a bartender and you will work as a bartender." A sly smile curved out from his lips.
