As I stare out the window

Watching as the rain streaks

Thinking of time

A time where life was simple

A time when you didn't have

To feel this way

A time where you were loved

Now I'm just sitting here

Collecting dust

As I wait

Wait for you to find me

Wait for you to remember me

I long to be alive again,

To go dance in the rain

To feel again

To not be forgotten

Days go by

I'm still here

Waiting

Sitting in silence

Months go by

A lot of people go through

Then it's dark.

The only light I have

That window I've watched the rain Streak down for years

I remember what it's like to be happy

But now you're gone

And I'm just another toy collecting dust.
