Legends of Senjira

"Turn around."

Sheyken said, looking at Falgur in his new armor. The armor looked like Teluman took inspiration from Shadow with the only difference being that it had a polo neck that if Falgur wanted, he could pull up so as to cover half of his face. When he did that, he looked like a ninja wearing a classy outfit which Sheyken did not like. It meant he had something in common with Salina and Sheyken wanted to cut it to a proper neckline there and then.

When Falgur turned around, he saw the outline of the eye on the back with the feathers coming together in a way that showed the eye that was at the tip of each feather perfectly making one larger one. The amazing part was that he could not tell that it was made of feathers until he was right close to him as it looked like leather from a distance.

"Fuck!"

Those were the words of one adventurer that saw the two boys walking in the guild wearing what many of them would only dream of ending up having in their lifetime. He looked at his armor that was made of first-tier beast material and cursed the world.

The sun was just about to rise but the guildhall was full. Seduralto had wanted to avoid exactly this when she asked the boys to come early so to avoid having such a huge crowd when they revealed the beasts they had hunted but with the events from the night before, the adventurers knew that the boys would be coming to present their hunt that day. Not wanting to miss seeing what they had, all of them had gone in early.

"Awe, look at your two. You look like royal assassins of the Finis."

Seduralto said with Salina and Alati by her said with both of them having changed their clothes. The boys were embarrassed that they took longer to change and get to the guild than the girls.

"Falgur, those blue eyes of yours match well with the stunning black color of your armor."

Sheyken cursed as he was never complimented like this by Seduralto. The adventurers were also stunned to hear those kinds of words coming out of her for the second time. Falgur just scratched the back of his head not knowing what to say as he looked at Seduralto's motherly gaze.

"You looked like a gentleman Sheyken."

Salina said in support of him, making Sheyken's heart stop beating and him almost fainting. He never thought he would ever hear those words from her. He made the mistake of looking at her perfectly aligned stomach which her crop top exposed and felt hot. The adventurers gasp.

"The legend is true. He lives among us and he is still a child."

One adventurer whispered but his words were somehow heard throughout the hall. As the hearts of the man were captured by the child legend who made the berserker say such words for the first time, they started to chant in a whisper.

"Legend, legend, legend...."

The whispered died down as they saw the eyes of a viper looking at each and every one of them. They gulped and stopped, but their manliness and pride for such an achievement from a young boy made their souls want to shout out 'Legend!' again. They could not wait for the berserker to leave so they could celebrate such an achievement.

Salina did not know what was wrong with them. She just did not want Sheyken to feel left out after Seduralto only complimented one of the two. Alati picturing Sheyken trying to flex his muscles by the door that morning just made her giggle.

The man from the night before who was on the second floor but looking down like he could see and hear everything that was going on downstairs smiled.

"I see they have even made my little girls express themselves, and in just a few days the adventurers have stopped looking down on them. I can see their spirits lifting. The end of this year's celebration looks like it will be full of energy and spirit. Mmmmm, boys, looks like your presence brings change, who knows, maybe one of you possesses a king's nature."

The man said with a smile and looked at Seduralto's gaze at Falgur.

"So, being honorary guild members, you did not have to go out hunting, but since the year is ending and with such rich Finis blood flowing in your veins, I had asked you to hunt for the people of Senjira so they too can enjoy what the Trial Forest has to offer."

Seduralto looked at all the adventurers who were missing some limbs.

"The hunt is always dangerous but the Desert guild lives for it. Our children cannot go in the forest and start at a young age to hunt, but the Finis can. This is the envy of all adventurers, thinking that if we started young then the hunt would have been easier. We Desert guild know that it is not the case and those who thought that way are not with us as I speak. We have come to terms with who we are and what we can do because whatever your strength is, the forest will match it with a beast of equal strength.

'Wow, I did not expect a speech just for presenting our hunt.'

Sheyken thought as he looked around the room seeing the ones with missing limbs still with fire in their eyes. He also did not expect their hunt to be a big deal.

"Finis? what is a Finis? Well, let our honorary guild members show us as only through the hunt will we know the real you."

The man upstairs had his hand on his forehead, in embarrassment.

"Daughter, you and your speeches... I bet you never even told the boys to give their all in the hunt. Putting them on the sport the like.... what if they just took it easy out there and did not have a significant hunt."

He now hoped that the boys at least had something to amuse the adventurers with or their spirits would fall together with their respect for the Finis. Sheyken started to move up to the front while all eyes fell on him. He walked up proudly as even though he hated the village of Finisrepo, he was still a Finis together with Falgur, and though the other three who he had cared about were dead, they were still Finis too. He did not dare to think about having practically damned all the villagers to a horrible death.

It was Ruby's turn to make people look upon him in Awe. Just like what he would do with Ningal, he took out what he thought was the least dangerous beast to hunt first. He took out 7 of the same kind of beasts that looked like a Jerboa in every way. They looked like a rodent that hopped on its thin hind legs and had big ears. It was as big as a rabbit and was extremely fast while using his teeth to attack. Falgur had no problem hunting them.

The crowd was not impressed at all, so much so that they had quickly forgotten Sheyken taking them out from nowhere. Only the man upstairs had both his eyebrows raised and had a worried look on his face.

Next, he took out 4 snake-like beasts that were two meters long but that had scythes on the upper side of their bodies. They would have looked exactly like Sidewinders if only they had no scythes that they used to attack with as they moved sideways through the sand of where they had found them. Their reflexes were as fast as Falgur but Sheyken had no problem slicing both their scythes and heads as they tried to block Plot armor. The crowd gasped. Even Seduralto was surprised. Sheyken was pleased as this was only the start. He continued as he pulled out several beasts that made the adventurers speechless.

"Impossible!"

One adventurer blatted out as he pulled up 3 beasts that looked like the thorny devil lizard of Earth but as big as Komodo dragons. They had a hard time killing them as all three of them came at them at the same time. Their thorny skin was the second thing Plot Armor could not cut through either than the Cossawos helmet-like head.

Falgur had had to keep the other two busy as Sheyken found a way to kill the third one as the only thing Falgur could do with his Sicapugi was irritate them. Sheyken would eventually find that their belly was much weaker as he happened to slice it open while it tried to pounce on him when he fell down having had tripped on a raised root on the ground. He turned it upside down using the force that he had come to call force field and slicing through its belly. The rest were then quickly taken care of.

"No kid can kill 3 Spinkcas and live."

The man blatted out again but got a hard slap from the person near him as those around him looked at Salina, hoping for her to not react. After seeing her looking in their direction, they all jumped the man, beating him senselessly, then throwing him out. They did not dare look at Salina from there on with them looking at the ground hoping that was enough of a punishment for him after speaking that way to honorary guild members.

"Damn."

Falgur said as he did not know either to laugh or feel sorry for the guy. Since Sheyken was still not done, he took out the two Vatagroes they had killed with their blood in two containers that Falgurs had given him.

"Unbelievable!"

"What?"

"Awe, All-mother"

Those were some of the words Sheyken heard as one of the adventurers who seemed young fainted. Seduralto, Salina, and Alati were all visible shocked. Alati did not know how to feel as she thought Sheyken and Falgur should be ghosts by now.

She went to Falgur to see if he did not have part of his body missing. Salina dragged her back to where she had been standing next to her and did not let go of her arm as she still wanted to check if the boys were ok. Sheyken smiled and took out the one he had killed and that Ningal had processed.

"I killed this one while I was still in Finisrepo."

Seduralto laughed wildly while the crowd was so quiet such that you could hear a pin drop.

"Clap, clap, clap."

The man from the night before clapped as he come down the steps.

"I was not going to disturb you all as I wanted you to feel free, but let me apologies to all of you as I had to see these two with my own eyes again."

No one dared to talk. The man looked at Sheyken, then Falgur.

"Truly, you two are legends of Senjira now. You are truly deserving of your titles of honorary guild members and we are lucky to be the first ones you have excepted such a title from."

The man said as Sheyken and Falgur looked down and did not dare lookup.

"You deserve to be celebrated."

The man said before he went back up the steps with every step he took sounding throughout the hall.

"Legends, legends, legends."

The chants started after the man disappeared. With the adventurers not caring if they got a beating from Salina anymore, one of them stepped forward and took the head of one of the Vatagroes while two of them took Sheyken and Falgur and placed them on their shoulders. The chants got louder and louder as they cheered for the two while making their exit out the door.

"Legends, legends, legends!"

Cheers sounded all around the town as the adventurers made their way through it with the one holding the Vatagroes head in front and the two carrying the boys behind. The townsfolk did not know what had happened but seeing the Finis boys being celebrated by the adventurers they quickly joined with many of them having just gotten up from bed.

The man smiled in his room as he saw Seduralto, and Salina smiling as they followed behind.

"I see why you want them to leave a part of their heart in this town good daughter. Your wish is for them to view this small town of ours as their home."

The man said looking at the wall in the direction the crowd was now moving in. That was the start of a four-day celebration that lasted up to the last day of the year with the main celebration being on that day as all the beats the two boys had hunted being processed and cooked by Sisilana with most of the mothers of the town helping.

Lasore had not wanted to go out of his room throughout those four days, but on that final day of celebration, he missed his wine, and not even fear of a girl with boss-level roasting skills would keep him away from it.
