"The Kalos region, right?" Ashley asked, the blonde girl looked at a map that the much taller Raph was holding. The two of them and Chelsea had been traveling the world for quite some time, starting out in Kanto, going through Johto, then Hoenn, climbed the cold mountains of Sinnoh and ventured through the booming movie-industry of Unova. Just recently, new Pokémon were found in the 'Alola' region, so Kalos wouldn't be the last stop for the three friends. The sound of Alola made Raph groan and complain, it sounded like another tropical region like Hoenn, he was hoping it would be another mountainous region like Sinnoh.

Chelsea, Ashley and Raph were on a plane for once, the three of them didn't want to bother taking a cruise for a week to go to the distant land. Of course, past trips taken by boat were anything but boring. A whole week on an enormous, luxurious cruise was something they seriously considered, but it could always be an option on the way back. After traveling through a whole region left them exhausted and trying to catch the plane and hoping you had decent seats didn't help with relaxing.

Traveling by plane was so much quicker, it only taking just the quarter of a day. The aircraft was mostly empty as well, so there were barely any annoyances. It wasn't something they complained about, the amount of money they got easily paid for the repels.

Vaniville town wasn't really interesting either, only having a few houses, the city was even smaller than Aquacorde and that was saying something. The only thing standing out was a Pokémon resting in front of one of the houses, a Rhyhorn to be exact. The rock-type Pokémon just rested on a white mat underneath a tree, enjoying the shadow. It wasn't much later until the front door swayed open with a woman coming out, holding a bowl of food which she placed in front of the Rhyhorn.

"Shauna also gave us our Pokémon from Professor Sycamore!" The dark-haired son said, opening his Pokéball, resulting in a flash. The daughter followed and the two of them proudly showed off their new partners. The boy chose the water-Pokémon Froakie and the girl chose the fire-Pokémon Fennekin. The two Pokémon seemed a bit worn out, clearly they didn't bring their Pokémon to the Center yet, but ran back to their homes to give their mom a goodbye after showing off how proud they were. The three left an angry mother behind while they slowly caught up to the siblings that ran ahead. As if they were bored parents, Ashley, Chelsea and Raph looked over them, following them around. Several Pokémon were caught, potions were sprayed and trainers were being fought. Sunlight shined brightly and illuminated the final steps of the forest. "Let's all go together at once, as a symbol of our friendship and to have an equal start as trainers!" Shauna said. "I suppose you guys want to challenge the Gym Leader right away?" Calem said when the new group arrived in Santalune City. "That is the plan, unless you want to check something out first Calem?"
