Chapter 12 - She left me
"What happened? What are you thinking about?" she asked me skeptically.
"Hmm… Haa… No nothing" I confessed to myself that I did not understand what was being said to her.
"Hello, mister… What do you think of yourself? When a girl comes in front of you and asks to spend time with you, even though you are doubting me?" She yelled, staring at my eyes with a different look that she wanted from me something else.
"Miss.. sorry… I do not know what you think about me, but I do not like your behavior at all. I liked a girl, so whatever else I wanted to do is only with that girl" I yelled out loudly and seriously towards her showing my inner anger.
"Okay… Okay... let it be… I am not asking you anything. Just spend some time with me, that's enough for today" She was trying to bargain with me. But still, I did not understand what she had in her mind.
I said simply okay and stayed over there for an hour and spent time with her talking with each other knowing each other. I did not understand why she wanted all my details like my likes, dislikes, feelings, and so on… She was asking me and everything about myself by asking some very silly questions. I think she was testing me somehow.
That hour was about three hours long now and after talking for so long with each other in the mid cool night, I said it's already too late for us and it's time to leave now. I'll drop you off at your place if you tell me the address. If any other stranger saw us like this in the middle of midnight, they might feel bad about us. There will be no problem at all for me as a man, but it would be a problem for you being a woman.
But I do not know why that girl still wants to spend time with me. She said that she likes me a lot straight on my face. But I did not have any feelings for her. Unbeknownst to me, that girl whom I saw in the morning seemed to have become very addicted to me and I loved her a lot. Even though she was standing beside me, I am thinking that it was the girl who I saw in the morning.
Now I forcibly moved the girl standing next to me and took her away from there before the sunrise. We walked almost to my hotel room and when I asked where to drop her she said "You go into your room, my room is right next door, I will walk into mine" and left the place with a dull face that I noticed clearly in her eyes.
I went back straight into the room and locked the door. I lay down on the small sofa which was not at all comforting for me to sleep there. But I don't seem to be lying on the bed next to my mother.
"Mathew... Mathew..." My mom tried to wake me up for a long time but I could not open my eyes as I didn't sleep all night.
I forcibly opened my eyes and saw her when she called me back loudly. I looked at the mobile screen which I kept beside the sofa by pulling the small table near me when I fell asleep last night. Then the time was 08:00 am.
"It's still 08:00 am Mom, Why are you waking me up so hurriedly?" I asked grumbling like a small child.
My mom forcibly lifted me up and let me sit on the sofa. She asked me to look outside once. I asked her slowly "Why? What happened?.
"Everyone leaving this place and who they are going home" My mom yelled at me.
"So what happened to you? Are you in a hurry to see your husband? I nodded my head towards her to check her feelings.
"I am not worried about my husband, my dear son" She slapped me on my cheek to get rid of my sleep.
I left all the intoxication in me for that blow and asked if you would like to go with them.
"Is it okay if your girlfriend goes too?" My breath seemed to stop at once at that moment and stood with pain. I immediately ran out of the room without even noticing how I was and what I was wearing on me. My only intention is to see her.
I kept watching everyone there, not to miss anyone, my mom also stood next to me looking for her and to hold me if I became stressed. But when she did not appear anywhere, my hopes collapsed at once. I don't even know when I will meet her again. It does not even make sense whether we will meet again. Then I remembered my mom saying to me, "Destiny connects you two if she is yours". I don't know about that but I strongly believed those words and my mom as I have treated her like my teacher since childhood. I never crossed a word of her till now. I strongly decided in my mind that I will meet her again for sure and I will search for her to the best of my ability.
