"What!! you mean Melissa the maid daughter? "I blabbered out before I could even stop myself, and was still looking at the woman in confusion.

'yes, she answered without looking at me.

I can't believe this, I barely recognise her. Is this not the girl I used to bull you before I travelled abroad. "How did she get so beautiful? 'I huffed with my mouth wide open.

I close my mouth and stop staring long enough so that I can excuse myself & rom the woman and slip away. I placed my iPad on the table before standi ng up.

Maybe I should just say hi to her.

I notice her arranging some wines on a table, I smile to myself, before approaching her.

"nice, nice, nice'l muttered repeatedly as I got closer to her.

She raises her gaze to meet mine but flincher a little as she glares at me, as if she was not happy to see me, the expression says it all. Am not nice to he pe from the onset but I dont know why she is the only one that catcher my a ttention

"How may I help you she questioned and I raised a brow at her, her eyes e ngrossed into mine like she was searching for something. I cleared my throat before giving her a fleeting look.

"You don't have to look at me like that, that disturbing'

"Do you remember me? "I managed to say. I don't why I am just uncomfort

able with the way she was staring at me.

"Yes, how can I forget the devil'she said bluntly and rolled her eyes.

"Dont tell me you are referring to me'l spat out, but instead of her answeri ng me she picked up the flower vase and started walking away, and it ticke d me off more than it should.

"Who do you think you are? To walk out of me like that I muttered while w alking toward her, she came to a halt before facing, the anger that is boili ng inside her is clearly written on her face.

"Then what's your problem? "she questioned, but I didn't reply to her, but o ontinued moving closer to her instead. I dont know why I just feel like dist urbing her.

She jerked my hand but I made sure I dont let go of her.

"You cant be serious'she spat out with venom in his voice and I scoffed in annoyance.

She said something as soon as I started walking but I didn't seem to hear her at Was not even up to fifteen minutes before I noticed her walking towards me with a tray in which a bottle of wine and a glass cup was neatly placed on it.

"Wow! you surprised me, I guess someone is not ready to lose her job, "I said

mockingly, while she put the tray on the table beside me.

"That's my work, remember I'm a maidshe suddenly snapped.

"Ohhh, I see but am sorry you are late, and besides am not in the mood of drinking wine again

"You cant be serious"

"What if I am, simply get me a bottle of water, "1 said while rolling my eyes at her

"So, you're telling me to return this wine and bring you bottled water ? "she raised her voice slightly

"Yes'

"You must be kidding me

"Sweetheart, are you going to return the wine and get me what I asked for , or should I go and get it by myself"I mutter barely above a whisper, I can see she is very angry, if only she gets a gun, she will shoot me right now.

She was about to say something when I heard my mom shouting my name, she was with the head maid in the front of the hall.

"I cant believe this. I spat out with venom in my voice, how can he do this t o me, I even think he would have changed not knowing he's now worse than before...

I waited for about five minutes before picking the tray. I'm sure he's going t o be waiting for me but I am not going to get him any water. I will make su re I dodge him throughout that day, I don't want to face him again.
