Trapped

~SELENA'S POV~

I stormed out of the classroom fuming in annoyance. What the f*** is wrong with that Alpha of theirs? I have to stay away from him if I want peace for myself.

Walking down the hallway, I heard someone calling out my name. I turned around immediately, and saw Yvonne waving at me from downstairs. Thank goodness! I smiled at her, and walked down the stairs to meet her.

"What took you so long? I've been waiting for you for god-knows-how-long down here. Don't you want to go to the town library anymore?" Yvonne quickly asked immediately she saw me coming down the stairs. I took a deep breath in relief, if only she knows who kept me waiting.

"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting" That was all I could say for the meantime.

"That's alright. How about going to the town library? Don't tell me you changed your mind?" She raised her eyebrows as we walked out of the school premises.

"I think I have, I'll go the library another day. I need to rest, and my sister already went home before me" I snorted, and she shrugged.

We walked out of the school compound together. Her driver drove into the school premises, so I had to hop in with her. Thank goodness! I won't have to take a bus or cab at least.

Immediately we drove off, my mind went back to what Jayden told me before I left the class. Well f*** him, it might be empty threats besides I don't owe him anything.

I kept staring out of the window until we got to my house, and I got down from the car.

"Thank you so much Yvonne! I'll see you tomorrow" I blew kisses at her, and she did the same before her driver drove off. Holding my backpack with my hands, I walked into the house with mixed feelings. What the hell is making me so nervous? Is this about Jayden? Hell no! I can't possibly be worried about that.

~JAYDEN'S POV~

I glanced at my wristwatch again and again. It's been three hours already, and she's not here yet. She must be thinking that I was bluffing earlier. That girl is really trying my patience, and this time I'm going to make her understand that she doesn't mess up with me.

"She's obviously not going to show up Jay. We've been here for the past three hours now" Sammy shook his head with a snort.

"What's making that girl so courageous? She's really daring, Jayden" Jeffery scoffed while I chuckled even though I was so angry.

"Let's go guys" I managed to say with a deadly smirk immediately I hopped into my Lamborghini, and they followed immediately.

I could feel my rage going up, and I felt like I'd crush that girl the moment I see her. My wolf was crying to be out, but I can't possibly go against my father's orders. He had ordered me never to shift into a wolf in school no matter what. I'd respect that, but as for Selena, I'm going to break her into pieces for keeping me waiting.

No one has ever disrespected me, and now Selena is trying to become a thorn in my flesh. That silly girl doesn't know the right person to toy around with. She had better watch her back because I'll make life miserable for her.

~SELENA'S POV~

I walked downstairs in my short revealing nightie. Mom was busy with her laptop placed on her laps while Stella was focused on the television. Argh! Why is she so addicted to that stupid soap opera?

She has always been this way, and to tell you the truth it freaks me out. Now, I'm the only one here doing nothing, and that's as boring as f***

Furthermore, I walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator while yawning hungrily. My stomach was grumbling ever since I got home.

"Mommy, there's no soft drink?" I spoke with my eyes popped out in disappointment. Of course that's what I like taking every night with snacks.

"I'm sorry Lena. I've not been able to go to the grocery shop lately. I'll surely go by tomorrow, maybe you should make due with the can of beverage your sister took" Mom replied still busy with the laptop.

"Hell no! I don't like beverages. This is f****** annoying" I stamped my feet on the ground fuming in annoyance.

"Instead of distracting me, why don't you go out there and get the can of soft drink? I don't want to miss any scene of this" Stella grumbled noisily. Of course, that's how obsessed she is with soap operas.

"I'll get a can of soft drink then" I rolled my eyes, and grabbed the doorknob of the exit door.

It was already dark, but thanks to the beautiful stars on the sky that was making the night very beautiful. I got to the shop at the other street, and bought the soft drink I wanted. The night was so quiet and cold. Thank goodness! The store I went too wasn't too far from my house. The gentle breeze blew my long hair, and it went any direction the wind took it.

I was on my way back home when I heard a loud howl. Fear gripped me, but I managed to get a grip of myself. It probably is a wolf howl, I mean this is a wolf town, so it's not surprising if it is. I looked around in fear, but tried to suppress the feeling I was having. I increased my pace because I was afraid, and because I felt presence around me. Furthermore, I really can't tell because when I looked around, I didn't see anyone, then why do I feel like there's someone who is following me?

Goosebumps ran down my spine. I increased my pace the more. Suddenly, a strong hand pulled me to the dark corner and pressed against my mouth restricting me from making any sound.....
