CHAPTER 4

"Mariana no matter what happens do not leave this cabin... I'll come back for you okay. I Love you" Dantalion says.

He goes out of the cabin it's a bloody scene he's fighting and gets stabbed in the back and caught in half.

"Noooooooooooooo".

Mariana wakes up breathing heavily, completely damped with sweat.

"What was that all about" Mariana whispers.

"My Lady are you okay" one of the maids asks

"ummm yes I'm fine, it's just - it's just a nightmare ... can you prepare a bath I need to wash up"

"Sure my Lady".

While in the bathtub Mariana wonders what must have happened last night he didn't come at all, 'maybe he had something important to do. I'm going to ask him why he didn't come last night. I wonder how he sounds... he can't possibly be dumb, he can talk right well I'll find out today...'

Knock*

" My Lady, are you done in there" the maid outside says.

"Yeah you can come in".

She got dressed in a full sleeve light blue dress. She still couldn't find her way round the house, she went around on a tour with the maid. After the tour she asked the maid for Dantalion room.

"The Lord's, room is at the last door on the left."

"Thanks" She starts to walk but hears.

"But mind, you won't want to be in there".

Mariana looked confused by the sudden change in atmosphere.

As Mariana tried to find her way there... the more she went the more she felt watched they were now statues of beasts that looked alive.

She finally reached the room and Knocked.

Knock* Knock*

Silence*

"ummm can I come in"

Silence*

She opened the door but no one was inside.

When she walked in the room was dark but spacious.

"Why didn't you listen to the maids"

Mariana's heart jumped, she was scared out of her skin as she heard a voice close to her neck.

She turned back... it was him. she kept staring at him with mouth agape.

"I asked a question" His voice was low, deep and devilishly soothing.

"Ummm... I-I-... I mean" she stuttered.

" you what?" he replied coldly.

"I mean I wanted to ask... why you- you didn't come to my-my room la- last night". she explained flustered.

Their bodies were so close to each other.

"What do you mean" he asked her.

" I mean for... you know?- I mean like for the... ummm I'm sorry maybe I should leave".

He watched as she stuttered in amusement,

'She looks Cute when she stutters... but all she is, is a sacrifice' He thought.

" I don't have to update you on my Activies... you're my wife not my mother".

"Sorry" she apologized as she left feeling embarrassed.

He didn't mean to be harsh but he can't give her any mixed feelings or Fall in love with her.

"She is Just a Sacrifice" he whispered.
