31 Such a gentleman

Neto was used to the way she talks, he smiled and pulled her in for a hug. "Good to see you again" he said to her, released her and took her hand and led her to his car. He opened the door for her and urged her in.

"Such a gentleman.Sky said rolling her eyes...who would have thought you were the one who sent me that message minutes ago."

Neto smiled as he strolled to the driver's sit, got in and started the car. As the A.C circulated through the car, he felt Sky take in a deep breath...looking at her, he was shocked to see her pale, she was ok just a moment ago.

As Neto got into the car and put on the A.C. the faint smell of the air freshener became worse and she felt sick immediately using her right hand to close her mouth, she got out of the car immediately to avoid throwing up in his car...gosh the smell was awful...."way to go Sky, she said to herself. why don't u just tell him you are pregnant."

Before Neto could ask her what was wrong, she was out of the car like flash and already puking outside, not too far from the car. Running back to the car he picked a bottle of water and handed it to her, rubbing her back in the process.

She felt like she just puked all her intestine out, she felt uneasy, she was having stomach upset, she felt dizzy...standing up, she wiped her mouth and leaned into Neto for support. She didn't want to stain his cloth so instead of her head on his chest like a hug it was more like her side to his chest.

Taking a deep breath, she dialled her secretary and said to her..."send a janitor to the parking lot, aisle A, tell him/her to look for a black Range Rover sport car, I made a mess there."

Neto looked at her and shook his head, she looked like she was going to faint and yet she was still bothered about cleaning, she has always been awfully neat, that's one of the things he liked about her.

"I am sorry, she said, trying to pull out from his embrace, I am really disgusting right now."

Neto half laughed. "Yes you are Sky but hold on, don't push me away, you still look pale....he guided her to the car as she rested on the front passenger door.

"The air freshener she said, I don't like it...you know i'm easily irritated, am actually sick so that's why i am like this am sorry."

Using the back of his left palm, he placed it on her forehead to check her temperature... luckily her temperature was normal and colour was coming back into her face.

He let her go as he walked over to the driver's sit, picked up the air freshener and waved it to her saying..."this?"

She replied with a nod...she watched him throw it into the trash can and she felt bad, after that he opened all the car doors as to let fresh air in and he also put on the air con.

Sky moved away from the car as he did that and looked at him with longing in her eyes, if only she could open her heart again, if only she could trust men, if only he was different but it was too late..she was expecting, plus Neto didn't want to commit to any woman plus he believed family will hold him back.

Neto is an architectural engineer, his father owns construction companies worldwide, Neto has refused to be the CEO of the company in the Capital...acting as the GM. He didn't want anything to disturb his private life.

Although he loved his father and even go with some of his ideology...he hated what his father did to his mom, the bastard had a vasectomy done right after Neto was born and didn't tell his wife, the poor woman tried to get pregnant for years without him saying a word, even when he told her he didn't want any other child, she didn't believe him because that was what he said before Neto was born.

When she found out he had the surgery ..she ended their marriage and his father signed the divorce papers without looking back with the condition that they both shared custody of the child.

Sky found out about this after they both told eachother some of their secret. Knowing how he felt about family, she sighed, thinking of her situation. "Why does she have such bad luck with men."
