Chapter 30:Nobara struggles with dolls.

I adjusted the collar of my Jujutsu Tech uniform, the stiff fabric feeling unfamiliar against my skin. Miu, beside me, fidgeted with her sorcerer pin, a similar look of discomfort on her face.

Due to our recent immersion into this world some habits and comforts died hard.

We weren't alone in the external courtyard. Yuji Itadori, the clueless vessel of Sukuna, was attempting a series of clumsy punches and kicks, his movements lacking any semblance of technique or finesse despite being strong and forceful.

Megumi Fushiguro, the broody shadow manipulator with the shikigami addiction, watched on with a critical eye, his arms crossed and his expression stoic.

In the corner, Nobara Kugisaki was muttering a string of colorful curses under her breath, punctuated by frustrated growls.

She was diligently working on something, her brow furrowed in concentration.

I recognized the familiar form of her straw doll taking shape, this time not from mundane materials but from shimmering cursed energy.

"Piece of shit! do it!"

Each attempt seemed to bring her closer to success, the doll's form solidifying with increasing clarity.

Gojo moved to the center of the courtyard with his usual swagger, his presence instantly commanding attention. "Alright, everyone, gather around," he announced, his voice carrying an air of playful authority.

"Motherfucker!"

Yuji bounded over with his characteristic enthusiasm, while Megumi approached with a more measured pace. Nobara remained focused on her task, her muttered curses growing louder and more creative with each passing moment.

Gojo's gaze fell on Miu and me, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Before we begin your training, I need to assess your current abilities. Show me what you're capable of."

"Form correctly! You stupid bastard!"

Miu and I exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between us. We stepped forward, our bodies tensing as we prepared to unleash the full extent of our power.

Miu's form blurred as she activated her Domain, the unnerving forest of cherry blossoms and statues materializing around us. The air grew heavy with the presence of her Asura and Buddha constructs, their imposing forms radiating an aura of both destruction and salvation.

A short fight ensued.

Despite Miu's abilities, all of them were useless due to the targets being focused on killing evil.

The cursed energy chains just bounced off the limitless field and the pulse didn't drain any cursed energy at all.

The buddha statue never activated due to no cursed energy kickstarting the process.

Gojo is stupid and insensitive but not evil.

Miu's domain dispersed and she walked away looking disappointed.

In the corner, Nobara was still trying to do something with her cursed energy and-

"Motherfucker, that's the entirely wrong shape!!"

Apparently failing.

I, on the other hand, channeled my cursed energy and Ki, the combined forces swirling around me like a tempest. My hands moved through a series of intricate kata, each movement imbued with the power of multiple martial arts styles and the raw, untamed energy of cursed energy.

Gojo observed us with a keen eye, his blindfold doing little to conceal the intensity of his gaze. Yuji's jaw dropped in awe, while Megumi's eyes widened in surprise. Even Nobara paused her work, her attention drawn to the display of power unfolding before her, though her stream of curses continued unabated.

I activated my domain and got my ass handed to me. Despite the extreme mass of me-skill-level clones, they just keep getting destroyed and the phantom hits were still made of cursed energy, so Limitless just made it useless.

As we reached the peak of our demonstration, Gojo nodded slowly, a flicker of approval crossing his features.

"Impressive," he admitted. "You both possess an incredible amount of raw power and potential. Miu, your Domain is particularly intriguing, a manifestation of your inner conflict and the duality of your nature. Which you totally then ignore to totally punish evil. It's interesting!"

He turned to me, his expression thoughtful. "And Zack, your mastery of multiple martial arts styles and the seamless integration of-"

He stopped, obviously glanced at the others, and continued.

"-whatever that other energy is with cursed energy is truly remarkable. I've never seen anything quite like it."

He nodded to himself and then continued. "That domain is very direct though. It shows your will to plow through anything. But there are obvious flaws."

A smirk played at the corners of his lips. "However," he continued, his tone shifting to one of playful challenge, "raw power and potential are only the beginning. To truly excel in the world of Jujutsu sorcery, you'll need to refine your techniques, hone your control, and learn to think strategically."

He gestured towards the training area. "Oh, I assure you, the curriculum here is anything but playful. You'll be pushed to your limits and beyond, facing challenges that will make your previous experiences seem like easy st-"

A low growl rumbled from Miu, her eyes flashing with a dangerous glint.

Gojo faltered mid-sentence, his smirk fading as he registered the raw emotion radiating from her.

He cleared his throat, his demeanor shifting to a more cautious tone. "Right, well, let's just say you'll be facing some tough challenges. But I'm confident you'll both rise to the occasion."

"Fuck you! you stupid blob that needs to be a doll! Why won't you FORM?!"
