The First Time

"Help!!!" The sound of a woman's scream was heard at the end of the dark alley where Wildan was standing. He had just opened a canned drink bought at one of the mini markets across the street.

The atmosphere of the night was not so crowded, but the sound of shouting was quite blaring. Seen at the intersection of the road leading to a narrow alley a tiny body wearing a white T-shirt. Her long hair fluttered behind her.

Meanwhile, behind the girl, about a few meters away some male body figures were running fast. It seems that they are chasing the girl.

Wildan was about to open the door of his black sports car, when the long-haired girl ran past him with a look in her eyes asking for help. However, the girl just passed by. He shrugged his shoulders, ignoring her.

When he got into the car, he heard the door open in the back. He saw the girl coming in with her head down, trying to hide herself.

"Hey! What the—"

Wildan's words stopped as the girl's pitiful face stared at him. A face full of fear with both hands cupped in front of his chest. Wildan also discouraged his intention to rebuke the girl.

Coincided with the sound of knocking behind the window of his car. Wildan looked in the direction of the sound. A large tall man and several other men stood around his black car. Wildan grimaced irritably at the situation. He turned around, looking directly at the girl's face.

Still cupping her hands together, the girl then rubbed her palms together, begging deeply. Wildan seemed annoyed by the girl's attitude.

"Hey! Open the door!" The screams outside made Wildan lower his car window.

"What is it, Sir? Can you be a little polite?"Wildan exclaimed to the big man.

"I saw a woman running into this car. Get him out!" The man's eyes grew towards Wildan. Being stared at and rebuked in such a way, made Wildan stare intently at the man.

"I do not know what you mean," said Wildan. "However, since you are disrespectful, I will not hesitate to report you for the attempted assault on me!" he exclaimed, with a hardened jaw. Wildan's eyes stared at the man.

For a few moments the man lingered in his place, with occasional eyes peering into WIldan's seemingly empty car. Then he ordered his followers to retreat, and gave WIldan a way to leave the place.

Without waiting long, the car passed leaving the group of men who ranged ten people. They seemed still unmoved in place, but then continued the search.

"Who are you?"asked Wildan, coldly.

Instead of answering, the girl sat down on the back bench, having hidden behind a chair. The girl took out her cell phone, then made a call, without ignoring Wildan's reprimand. Seeing the girl's disrespectful behavior, Wildan again hardened his jaw.

There was a dial tone from the girl's mobile phone. Not long after, the call was answered on the other side.

"Dad! What else are you doing now? When are you going to be like this?"

"I'm Sorry, Gal! I'm really sorry." The sound of his voice on the other side was heard clearly, even without loudspeakers. That's because the atmosphere in the car is quite calm.

"You have taken my savings to pay off your debts. And you said it was all paid off. So, what else is this, Dad? Because of that I can not continue College!" The girl's voice trembled, it was clear she was holding back tears.

"Forgive your father, Galuh!"

"Dad, what are you doing on a video call?" exclaimed the girl. It seems that the person who is called by the name of the father replaced the call with a video call.

The girl put her phone away, staring at the phone layer. WIldan, who was observing from behind the rearview mirror, was silent, not wanting to disturb the father and son's conversation.

"Hey, Pretty Girl! When will you leave your father?" The Voice of the girl's interlocutor turned into a different voice, even at this time it was heard very clearly.

"Sir! What will you do to my father? Don't do that. Please!"

"Didn't you run away because you were willing to sacrifice this Father of yours? Let I beat all out, if necessary until dying. But ... I can't profit from your father's death. So, come here quickly, let's make a deal!!!" The man's voice sounded angry on the other side.

"Don't!!!" The cry of the girl named Galuh sounded shrill, making WIldan shocked beyond measure. He almost braked the car suddenly if he did not master the car well.

"Bugh! Arghh ...." There was a sound of people hitting something and a cry of pain from the man whom the girl had just called Dad. Wildan was quite quick to read the situation that this girl's father was not doing well.

"Hurry!" The video call ended, changed with kasak kusuk the girl.

"How is it, this?" he sighed, fretting. "Om ... i'm sorry. But, please, please take me to the end of the road. Please ...."

Without waiting long, WIldan immediately turned the pace of his sports car in the direction where the girl was running earlier. He did not speak, but glanced from the rearview mirror, seeing that the girl looked so frightened and anxious.

"I don't know what's going on in your situation, but why don't you just try to report to the police, let them get arrested." Wildan finally made a voice on the sidelines driving his car.

"I have, Sir. In the end, they are free."

Wildan was surprised by the girl's answer. He was no longer talking, but increasingly speeding the vehicle at high speed in order to immediately arrive at the place requested by the girl.

"Then, after you go home, what are you willing to do? Isn't it the same as delivering lives?" Wildan asked again, feeling strange about the girl's decision.

"At the very least, I can negotiate to pay off my father's debts." The girl's answer stunned Wildan. Flat answers that contain meaning.

"Just drop me off at the end of the road, Sir!" he cried, pointing at the end of the road where WIldan first saw the girl being chased by the tall man.

"You sure you're going to go alone and face them?"asked Wildan, doubting.

"If I'm not sure, I won't ask you to drop me off here," he replied, firmly.

"If they beat you up, are you ready?"ask Wildan again, still curious.

"That's normal. I'm used to getting hit. Not to worry. I'll be fine."

"You sure?"Wildan asked again, with a doubtful expression.

"Yes, of course. And, thanks for the ride, may you be granted health and protection."

Wildan stopped the car at the end of the road, then the girl got out of the car. As soon as her foot stepped on the paved road, the girl galloped towards the end of the alley. Wildan was only able to observe from behind the wheel, without being able to do anything. Before finally seen from a distance a car speeding towards the girl.

"Watch out!"

"Argh...."
