An hour past. Feng Mian slowly opened the bathroom door and as she saw that no one was there she quickly found her clothes and was ready to leave. That hour after the hug had been like hell for her she was scared. Scared that he would force her to come out. Scared that he would break down the door. Scared that he wouldn't let her go. But as scared as she was she knew that she couldn't hide for forever. She also knew that men like him wouldn't waste their time on women like her. He was clearly rich and so he could have whoever he wanted to. That is why she decided to just run for it.
Still her body was aching and her mind was on alert. For two years she had avoided any human contact. For the first year whenever she even touched someone she would go into shock and in the worst case even faint. Now her trauma had been getting better, but she still had a deep fear of men. Any man who touched her would instantly make her shiver. Even her manager had never even shaked her hand. Now after what happened last night and the hug she had just received… She had been in the bathroom having a panic attack while taking another shower.
All she could do now was to run away. Run away like she always did. Run away and hope that that the man from last night wouldn't look for her.
She quickly got home and fell on the floor. She was wearing the night gown from last night that was now wrinkled and messy. She sat there looking at the dress. In her mind she thought 'great another thing i need to pay the company for'. Maybe is she just quit she would be free from all this stress. Free form Annies tournament. Free from her managers remarks. Free from the gazes of those people watching her play. That's what she wanted. Just to live her quiet life free from everything that hurt her. She wished she could just forget about her past and live in the happy and colourful future. The future she now had the right to own by herself. Still, she knew she wasn't anyone who could do that. Ever since she was born her life was destined to be miserable. That meant that she was going to most likely end up miserable as well.
As she stared at herself she heard the sound of her cell phone buzzing. A message popped up from manager Lee:
"I see you found a way to get home."
