Benedict, his jaw clenched with irritation, reached for his phone and dialled Mr. Smith. As the phone rang, Benedict's fingers drummed against the leather interior, betraying his inner turmoil.
"Mr. Smith," Benedict barked as soon as the call connected.
The voice on the other end was calm and collected. "Everything is in order, boss. All three of them have confessed," Mr. Smith reported.
"Good. Keep the pressure on. I want every detail squeezed out of them. Also how is the progress report on Mr. Gonzalez?," Benedict commanded, his tone sharp and unwavering.
"Our team is handling the matter well. Mr. Gonzalez frequented the Klinton bar which is odd. We are trying to find out the link. Soon you will see the results," Mr. Smith assured with a touch of confidence in his voice.
"Keep going and Remember," Benedict's voice cut through the silence, "Don't let them escape, and keep them alive."
