Playing with the dead in the new life

Dave Smithson is someone who can be considered either very lucky or unlucky. When he died, instead of facing endless and timeless darkness as he imagined, he was reborn. But once again, not as one would expect, instead he was reborn as a lowly animal, one at the bottom of the food chain, so he died again very soon. But he would find no peace, as he kept reincarnating, accumulating knowledge and experience, even though he just wanted it all to end. Where does this lead our hero to? There will be magic and necromancy!
